Back in the Real World...

Cindy:

Ella sat on the living room couch, crying her eyes out after calling the Police and reporting her daughter missing.  After that silvery-white light came out of that invitation card in Cindy's hand, her daughter was gone in the blink of an eye.

Ella had no idea what was happening, and after the Police told her to take it easy, she began to panic.  What if her daughter never came back home?  What if she was an irresponsible mother?  Cindy couldn't have run away like the Police said, though.  She just wasn't like that.  Ella knew she wasn't.

With a heavy sigh and hiccuping sobs, Ella looked up at the T.V. and found the DVD case of Cinderella on the floor in front of the movie player.  Ella choked out a sob.  That was the last thing Cindy had been watching before she got the letter.

Ella stood up on shaky legs before kneeling in front of the T.V., and turning it on before hitting Play.  The movie began right in the middle.  It must have been where Cindy left off on it.  As Ella sat down on the floor and managed to get comfortable, she watched the old 1950's Disney movie play out, and blinked once she saw something wrong with the movie.

With a narrowed frown, Ella sat up and tried rewinding the movie to point out the odd motive in the movie, but the remote wouldn't let her.  Clicking the button over and over again, the movie still refused to rewind itself, so Ella just tossed it aside and watched as Cinderella screamed at the sight of her mice friends.  That couldn't be right.  Cinderella was friends with the mice, so why would she scream?  Just as Ella was about to turn off the movie, Cinderella's words stopped her.

"I'm not Cinderella!  My name is Cindy!  I don't belong here!"

Ella blinked at the Television in shock, before screaming, "CINDY!?"

Melody:

Tristan sat on his only daughter's bed sheets, tears leaking out of his eyes as he sobbed at the loss of her.  He had come home from work hoping to hear her in the kitchen making dinner for the both of them, but when he had decided to search the house, she was nowhere to be seen.  The maids hadn't even seen her since earlier in the day when she was watching her favorite Disney movie.

The only thing he could find of her being here was a single letter invitation to the Disneyverse, or whatever that was.

Tristan looked up as the T.V. in Melody's room magically turned on, and he frowned through his tears.  How did that happen?  On the screen, 'The Little Mermaid' began playing right from the middle.  Tristan shook his head and thought nothing of it as he stood, and was about to turn off Melody's favorite Disney movie, when something on the screen caught his eye.

Melody had watched this movie several times before, and sometimes would make her father watch it with her, and so Tristan had the movie committed to memory already, but something wasn't right in the movie.

Ariel, who had been crying right after her father had destroyed her Grotto and the statue of Prince Eric, looked up at the voices of Ursula's pet Eels.  Then Ariel did something different from before.  With a face set of determination, she narrowed her eyes and instead of following the Eels willingly, swam away from them in a haste.  Tristan stepped back with a frown.

Melody had always talked about what she would have done if she was in Ariel's place, and turning away from the Eels was one of them.  Tristan's blue eyes widened, before he looked down at the letter in his hand.

Could Melody really be in the Disneyverse?

Tia:

Niall, Tia's best friend, sat in her dorm room running his fingers through his dark lockes of hair as he tapped his foot repeatedly from nerves.  He had decided today would be the day he would finally tell Tia how he really felt about her, only to find her dorm room empty and had searched the whole grounds for her, only to come up empty.

He was starting to panic now.  He couldn't call her mom and tell her she was missing, that would just worry the old woman even more.  He couldn't call the Police without her mom finding out either way, so what could he really do?

Niall groaned and jumped to his feet as he speed-walked over to the door, when something crunched underneath his foot.  Lifting his foot up, he found a letter balled up on the floor as he frowned, and bent down to pick it up.

Unrolling the letter, he saw that it was an invitation to the Disneyverse, and frowned.  That didn't sound familiar at all.  But since it was Disney, Niall knew there was only one movie Tia loved out of all the others, and looked over his shoulder to her bookcase where she kept all her favorite movies.

Lifting a hand and pulling the movie off it's shelf, Niall stared down at the cover of 'The Princess and The Frog'.  He just hoped this movie held the answers he sought for the girl he's loved ever since they were kids.

Zelda:

Zelda's parents gaped at the Television screen.  It was true.  Their daughter really was Rapunzel.  They couldn't believe it.

After coming home to find their adoptive daughter missing, Charlie and Emma called the Police of her disappearance, and they told them their daughter wasn't the only one gone.  Apparently, three other girls had gone missing as well, and had soon to know the whereabouts of them.

Charlie and Emma asked the Officers for the location of the other distraught parents, and called each of them up to meet at one of the father's houses, since it was the largest, apparently.  So after being given the address, Charlie and Emma, along with the other two parents, were on their way to what looked like a mansion-home.

Tristan, one of the missing girls' father, invited them in as Charlie, Emma, Ella, and a boy named Niall, all made their way to the living room where they sat awkwardly.  Tristan was the first to speak as he slammed a card and a movie on DVD down on the glossy wooden table in the middle of the lounge room.  "I think I know where my daughter is."

Ella snapped her head up and eyed the movie and letter, before reaching into her handbag and pulling out the same letter, but different DVD movie onto the table.  "I think I do, too."  Tristan and Ella shared the same sympathetic look as Niall groaned and ran both his hands over his face.

"My best friend is missing, and I found this letter in her dorm, and decided I'd bring the movie along with me."  Niall dropped the movie and letter onto the table as well.  Charlie and Emma were the only ones confused about all this.

"What are you saying?" Emma finally asked while clutching her husband's hand tightly in her own.

Tristan sighed and folded his hands together, just like the business man he was, suit and all.  "My daughter's name is Melody," he gave each of the adults sad smiles, "Her mother named her after Melody in the Disney movie 'The Little Mermaid II', daughter of Ariel."

Ella spoke up next, "My name is Ella, and my daughter's name is Cindy."  Ella then picked up the movie and clutched it to her chest tightly.

Niall shook his head.  "Tia loved to cook just like Tiana.  I still can't believe this is real."  He ran a hand through his dark lockes once more, before sighing from stress.

Charlie and Emma were still clueless.  "So these movies and your daughters are connected?"  All three adults nodded.  "What does this have to do with our daughter Zelda?"

Tristan sighed and stood up.  "I think Melody has the other movies in her room.  I'll be back."  With that, he left upstairs to his daughter's room.

Charlie turned to Ella then, "What are you three talking about?"

Ella gave them a soft smile, before showing them the movie in her lap.  It was 'Cinderella'.  "Earlier today, I was watching this after I reported Cindy missing, and noticed something wasn't right."  Ella ran her hand over the cover.  "Cindy was in the movie shouting that she wasn't Cinderella at all."  Ella looked up at the couple with glassy eyes.  "I don't know how, but I think each of our daughter's have been taken somewhere we can't reach them."

Emma and Charlie blinked at this newfound information as Tristan came hurtling back down the stairs with an armful of movies in his grasp.  Dropping all of them onto the table, Tristan sat back down on the couch and spread out each Disney movie, before looking up at the worried couple.  "Did Zelda have a favorite Disney movie as a child?"

Emma nodded.  "I think every little girl did."

"Then which one was it?" Tristan asked, and allowed the couple to look over the movies, before settling upon 'Tangled'.

"This one," Emma conceded, and the other three adults gave each other a mild look, before Tristan took the movie out of her grasp and quickly inserted it into the DVD player and clicking Play as it began playing from the middle, just like all the others.

"See if you notice anything different," Ella told the couple as they frowned, but turned to watch the movie.

Rapunzel was supposed to be skilled with her hair, but it was obvious that this one was not.  Emma and Charlie gaped at the movie as they watched this awkward Rapunzel try to get Flynn Rider into her closet.  Only this wasn't Rapunzel they were watching.  Charlie and Emma glanced at each other.  Now they knew what the other adults had meant.

The girl's had somehow taken the place of their favorite Princesses.

Belle:

Belle's father, Marvin, was distraught over his daughter's disappearance.  After phoning the Police, he was told that a man by the name of Tristan had asked that if any other girl's were to go missing, to send the parents over to his house immediately.  Marvin didn't argue about this, but just made his way to the rich man's home.

Opening the door wide, a grey-haired man that once was brown with bright blue eyes, opened the massive door to his home and invited Marvin inside.  Marvin was uneasy with people like Tristan.  People who had everything while he barely had anything.

"Welcome, please, follow me."  Tristan led Marvin over to the lounge room where four other people sat watching a movie on four separate T.V.'s.  From the looks of it, they were Disney movies.  Marvin recognized some of them from his daughter, Belle's, obsession with Disney, and her own personal favorite, 'Beauty and the Beast'.

"Marvin, did your daughter happen to have a favorite Disney movie?" Tristan asked the old man, and Marvin nodded before seating himself on the luxury couch beside Tristan.

"Yes.  'Beauty and the Beast' was my Belle's favorite," Marvin explained, and Tristan's eyes widened.

"Your daughter's name is Belle?"  Marvin nodded before Tristan reached over to the table, and grabbed the DVD off the top and handed it to Marvin as he called a Maid in to bring down another T.V. to set up in the lounge room.

"What is going on here?" Marvin asked curiously, glancing over at the woman with blonde hair and blue eyes as she cried silently while watching 'Cinderella'.

Tristan patted the man's knee.  "You'll see soon."

Once the T.V. was brought in and all hooked up, Tristan took the DVD from Marvin and popped it into the player as his daughter Belle's favorite Disney movie began playing from the middle.  As Marvin watched the Disney Belle, he noticed something different from it's usual program.  The Belle in the movie wasn't supposed to admire her looks when we knew she was already beautiful, but Marvin's Belle was always saying she didn't find herself beautiful in the slightest.

Marvin's brown eyes widened.  It can't be.  Tristan patted the old man on the back as Marvin turned to face him.  "I know it's hard.  But somehow our daughter's have taken the place of their favorite Princesses.  Now all we can do is watch and wait for something to happen."

Marvin nodded in understanding as he gripped the letter he had found in Belle's room that now resided in his pocket tightly.  He hoped his Belle would survive the Beast.  And he didn't mean the Prince.
