as joon-hyung walked out of the room, everyone sat in silence, all eyes on him.

“why... are you all staring at me?” joon-hyung said, breaking the silence as he laughed nervously.

bibi spoke up, but everyone probably felt the same way. “which... team are you in?”

“what, you all don't want me in your team?” joon-hyung joked, “this is the first time i've ever been so nervous on a variety show for the past ten years.”

“damn, your career's been long... i debuted eight years ago... ten years ago, bibi was still in elementary school-”

“hey,” joon-hyung cut yejin off before she could go any further. “i get it, i'm old. but you're gonna have to deal with it,” joon-hyung said, as he sat down beside namjoo.

“y-you're on our team?” kim stuttered, and you could see team day's bright smiles behind him.

“just because i'm old, it doesn't mean i'm bad! you guys are being rude, i have way more experience in this field! show some respect, will you?” joon-hyung said, and everyone went quiet, nodding their heads.

영수 YOUNGSOO walked into the room, and everyone's jaws dropped.

“h-hello? i-i'm a model, youngsoo,” youngsoo stammered, confused as to why they had such expressions on their faces.

“wait. i'm a model too, why didn't i get this reaction- ah, right, i was the first to enter,” kim pouted.

youngsoo laughed, and shamelessly said, “thank you, i know i'm handsome,” before winking to the camera.

“or maybe it's just because of the contrast with someone...” yewon murmured to herself between faked coughs.

youngsoo looked around the room, and it wasn't hard for him to figure out who yewon was talking about.

“but seriously though, damn boy. are you a parking ticket? because you've got fine written all over you,” sunghyun flirted, and yewon rolled her eyes.

youngsoo laughed and said, “thank you! but i'm a little lost...”

seeing youngsoo's eyes dart around the room, sunghyun immediately responded, “ah, you just go into that room-”

“can i get the directions to your heart?” youngsoo cut sunghyun off. sunghyun chuckled, and youngsoo went into the dark room, closing the door behind him.

“ugh, youngsters nowadays,” joon-hyung scrunched his face. “a parking ticket? what, does seeing him annoy you so much you want to crush him up into a ball and burn him?”

it was a pretty lame joke - if it even was one ; joon-hyung probably just didn't get the pick-up line - but the others couldn't help but laugh.

“he's right though, you two need to stop flirting, or viewers are gonna think there's actually something going on,” yejin said.

“i mean, we only met today...” sunghyun started off.

skye immediately added on, saying, “netizens, you heard that, they just met, they're just both flirty playboys-”

“...but i have the feeling i'll want to be with him for a lifetime.” sunghyun said with a slight smirk, and everyone else collectively sighed.

“oh, it's dark here, i like that~” youngsoo said to himself as he entered the room - a largely different reaction from kim. or joon-hyung who was here just now, for that matter.

“pick a number, 4 or 7... i'll choose 7? it's the lucky number anyway, i'm suprised no one's chosen that,” youngsoo said, as he received the box.

welcome to TRUE MAFIA.
for today, you will be on Team DAY.
