After one week...

Avneet landed in Mumbai airport. Her mind was filled with different thoughts and heart was filled with mixed feelings. She was happy she was going to see her family, her husband, her daughter, everyone after such a long time. Only she knew how much she missed everyone and how much she waited for this moment... But the other thoughts were how will they react. It was clear from interviews she saw about them that they all hated her. They never wanted to see them again. Her own daughter was calling someone else as her mom and she despised her.

A lone tear escaped as she put her feet on land... Memories flooded in front of her eyes as she was not able to see anything. She was wearing mask so no one can see her. A casual outfit, nothing like a celebrity but she still looked so perfect. Something what wasn't normal was her face, it was dull and pale, her eyes were not shining anymore.

She slowly took steps towards exit.... She saw Ashi standing there and she headed towards her. They both shared a very emotional hug, both had tears in their eyes.

"I missed you so much Avu." Ashi said breaking the hug.

"I missed you guys too. I can't believe destiny brought me back to same place again... Everything seem so different." Avu said looking the surroundings as nostalgia hits her. She remembered her honeymoon trip with Sid how He carried her in trolley with all luggages, Starbucks, their fun, making vlogs, having fun in airport too... She remembered everytmhing.

"Avu are you okay?" Ashi said putting hand on her shoulders almost consoling her.

"Yes, I am fine. Let's go from here before anyone recognises us." Avu said to avoid the topic and Ashi nodded. They asked driver to take them to their usual spot.

He took them to riverside. It was out of city so no one use to come there mostly, when Ashi and Avneet were younger they use to come their for hiking with their friends. That was the only place Avneet found same after she came back. Same peace, voice of birds chirping, voice of waves and just peace. She took a deep breath to enjoy that beautiful nature. They both sat on big rock for a minute both were enjoying the moment.

"You know I never came back here after you left."

"I missed being here... I missed everything. I hurt them so much right, they all hate me right?" Avneet said looking down.

"Don't say like this Avi... You did everything for their safety, for your love and for your daughter. You sacrificed everything, your career, your family, lived a life like a poor girl even after being world's richest person... Just for them. They will be proud of you if they get to know it." Ashi said consoling her.

"But they will never. I am just here for some time, we will solve this problem together. What if I couldn't be happy with my family, but You will get your love and your happy family. We will sort everything out." Avneet said assuring Ashi.

"But how Avu? Tomorrow is my engagement. And if I go against them in any way they will kill Deep. I am so scared, what If they got to know I am pregnant, they will kill my baby too. They will kill everyone... Avu... Please help me!" Ashi said and broke down, Avu hugged her to console her as tears fell down from her eyes too seeing her this broken.

"Nothing like that will happen! It's enough. They have ruined enough lives, they have killed enough people. I won't let it happen again... I will protect everyone, even if I have to kill them. I don't care if people hate me or blame me anymore!" Avneet said with determination slightly caressing Ashi's hair.

Ashi pulled out of hug and looked at Avneet in confusion, look on her face was priceless, she didn't had any expression on her face, but her eyes filled with determination, tears as she was ready to sacrifice anything for her loved ones.

"But Avneet, they are so strong, they have proofs against us. We don't have anything. What will we do? Please don't do anything crazy, I don't want you to hurt yourself anymore. It's enough Avneet! How much will you endure?" Ashi asked.

"Anything for my friends and family. I am Avneet Kaur Nigam... My father taught me to fight for my loved ones, and my husband made me stronger each and every day... I can do anything and everything for them. And I will." Avneet again said.

"But Avneet..." Ashi was about to say something.

"No ifs and buts Di... Just listen to my plan..." Avneet said and told her plan to Ashi. Ashi looked at her in shock as her plan was very risky in every way.

"But Avneet for this you have to... Don't tell me..." Ashi said with horrified expression.

"Di... You should go back and rest now. Tomorrow your engagement is going to be a blast. Go and tell The Nigams that the Daughter in law of Nigams is back..." Avneet said and Ashi sighed.
