the one where they're lost

Fiona gasped as she sat up looking around, she looked around, not understanding anything. That was, until more people started sitting up, gasping.

"Peter?" She asked, her voice hoarse as she stood up, she looked down, water was everywhere but she was dry. A woman with white hair and glowing green eye sat up, gasping. She looked like Fiona, but older.

"Kalma?" Fiona asked and she nodded, standing up.

"Where did he take us?" Fiona asked, grabbing the woman's hand.

"I sense a powerful aura, all around us," she spoke as more people stood up, finding loved ones.

"The Soul stone," Fiona said and looked to Kalma.

"This is he soul dimension," Kalma spoke and Fiona stared up at her.

"How is this possible?" She asked.

"I never got to bind our souls together, I can do it now, but it will hurt," Kalma spoke and Fiona nodded.

"Nothing will hurt me more than seeing Peter fucking disintegrate," she sighed and Kalma gave her a sympathetic smile.

"Alright, child, I'll be in your mind through all of this, find the rest of the avengers, Doctor Strange, they'll need you," Kalma smiled and Fiona nodded.

"How am I to find them?" Fiona asked.

"Uh, just run around and scream," Kalma answered, Fiona nodded.

Kalma shut her eyes. Fiona watched as a golden aura surrounded Kalma, slowly trickling over to Fiona through the hand she held. Then the pain gradually came, every second she felt more of it cover her and intensify. It felt like a burning sensation over take her.

Fiona let out a blood curdling scream and fell to her knees as everything burned. Kalma was gone but the aura still surrounded her. People looked around as she screamed. Fiona looked around wildly, snapping her mouth shut, trying to keep the attention off of her. If other people heard it, maybe Peter did too.

She leaned forward, putting some weight into her hands as she took deep breaths. The air was weird, as if she was breathing but nothing was there, and she wasn't suffocating.

The soul dimension doesn't followthe laws of physics, Kalma spoke, making Fiona nod, looking around.

Fiona got up, checking her reflection in the water. Nothing changed in her appearance. She put on her mask and pulled her hair back up, counting her blessings that the hair tie came. She looked around and frowned, animals were running around frantically, dazed and confused by their surroundings. Fiona's heart stopped.

She shut her eyes, finding the mental connection she had to Surma. It was weak but present. Fiona frowned, trying to fix it.

He's here, but far, Kalma spoke and Fiona opened her eyes as the connection was strong enough to call Surma to her.

She started walking, seeing people crying and running around, calling out names. Fiona heard a baby's cry. She looked down, in the murk of the water, laid a pure light. Fiona reached down, picking up the baby. The cries got louder, he water didn't muffle it.

"Shh," she frowned as she cradled it, looking around, hoping someone was related to the poor thing.

She looked down at the clothes and saw a hospital band.

Rosie Downs.

"Hi, Rosie," she smiled softly.

Fiona looked up, a lot of people looking around, asking questions.

"DOES ANY ONE KNOW ROSIE DOWNS?" She screamed, looking around to see people staring at her awkwardly.

"Listen guys, I have to fight that creature that snapped us here, someone take Rosie here and calm her down, don't worry I'll get us out of this," she said and a teenage boy nodded, walking over and held his arms out to take her.

Fiona smiled after he assured her he had a grip on Rosie, running off to close the connection with Surma, he was closer.

"SURMA!" she screamed, seeing her dog in the horizon as he galloped to her.

When she got closer her jumped, knocking her down as she hugged him, sighing as she wrapped her arms around him.

"At least one thing went right today," Fiona spoke, burying her face into Surmas fur.

Fiona got up, looking around.

"Okay, Surma," she spoke, making the dog sit and wait for her command, "we have to find Peter and the rest of the avengers, if they're here, maybe starlord."

Surma stood up.

"I don't want to split up, so stay with me," she sighed and they started walking.

"Rosie?" She heard, looking around, she noticed a woman in tears running around.

"Rosie Downs?" Fiona asked, the woman snapping her head in Fiona's direction.

"You've seen her?" She asked.

"Yes, I asked someone to hold her so she wouldn't be in the water, that direction," Fiona pointed. The woman hugged Fiona, Surma staring with her ears bent back.

"Thank you," The woman sobbed and ran off. Fiona smiled weakly and went back to calling out for Peter, panic rising as she couldn't feel her connection with him.

"Peter, sounds familiar," she heard and turned, a man with a metal arm, walking past. Janes Buchanan Barnes.

"Sergeant," she called out and he looked over.

"Do I know you?" He asked and she shook her head.

"Please tell me that you're a good guy," she pleaded.

"Well I'm not working for HYDRA if that's what you mean," he frowned, not liking the conversation.

"Were you fighting Thanos before this?" She asked.

"Yeah, I assume you were too?" He asked.

"Yeah," she sighed, "I need to get whoever's left on the team here assembled, a man of magic might be able to help, but I have to be there with him," Fiona explained.

"If it gets me back to Steve then I'll help," he said and Fiona nodded.

"Then I'm Fiona, also known as Kalma," she stuck her hand out, he shook it, "This is my dog, Surma."

"Do you have powers that the goddess?" He asked.

"I am the goddess, Surma has powers too," she smiled and he nodded, rubbing Surmas head.

"Well, lets get out of this hell hole , it's driving me nuts."
