"Is something wrong?"came Salene's annoying voice.

I narrowed my eyes and watched like a hawk as she stepped around Josh to come face to face with me.

"No everything is absolutely fine."I snapped annoyed.

"Well its set then, a double date!"she exclaimed sounding a bit excited.

Okay, was it just me or was something terribly wrong here?It was but a few minutes ago that she was acting all angry and annoyed at seeing Josh and I together so why was she so excited for us to go on a double date?Or maybe she was just happy to see that I was annoyed.Come what it may, I wouldn't give her that satisfaction.

"Yes its set then."I confirmed narrowing my eyes at Josh, letting him know that I was not the least bit happy at the horrible turn of events.

"Stella, its getting pretty late, we should go now."Emily muttered looking at me, almost pleadingly.

I totally understood how she felt, I was sure the only reason she wanted to leave was because of the actor.

"Um, I'm leaving now,bye."I mumbled still very unhappy with how things was shaping up.

I turned on my heals , ready to leave.

"Stella wait."Josh called behind me.

Before I could contemplate what was happening he grabbed me by my waist and pulled me towards his chest.Sparks exploded all around me and all I could see and feel was him in front of me.

"What are you doing?"I inquired almost breathless.

His answer to that was to lower his head and press his lips to mine.His large hands grabbed my shoulders pulling me closer, holding me tight against him.His hands slid further up my neck, making my heartbeat quicken.His ragged breaths matched mines and I was sure the kiss was affecting him as much as it affected me.He kissed me gently, first the top lip and then the bottom.A sigh escaped my throat as I leaned closer.Hesitantly he withdrew staring at me wide eyed.Then as if remembering something he  pulled back.

With shaky legs I stepped away from him.What just happened?I could barely think straight.

He ran his gaze over me as he stepped back, a smile pulled at his lips .

I looked behind him and realised that it was all just an act for Salene , the pain I felt at that realisation was unbearable and I fought the urge to cry.

Pulling myself away from him this time was hard, I closed my eyes and turned away, forcing my feet to move.That kiss was one I was sure I would never forget!
