Kaitlyn's P.O.V

"Awh, but guys..."

"Kaitlyn, you know you're injured so you can't go," said Skylor in her over protective tone.

I pout, "but it was my idea, I can help you guys! Seriously, I can't bear thinking that you're all out there, risking your lives, and I can't do anything to help!"
Lloyd puts an arm around me.

"Sky is right Kait, we can't risk you getting hurt especially since you're already injured and can't protect yourself in any way..." he says in a sad tone. I know he wants me to be there with him. It would be my first proper fight aswell!

"Fine," I hiss, "have fun you all," and without another word, I wheelchair off to my room and manage to get myself up on my bed. I cross my bandaged arms and sit there. It's so not fair.
After a couple of minutes, I thought they were all gone so furiously start ripping the bandages off my arms. Strong pain flows through both of them but I ignore it and throw the bandages onto the floor revealing my full of scars arms. I thought back to the time when I used to cut for the slightest things... Thank God I'm over that now.

"Wow, looks like someone's a bit angry," I hear someone say and jump slightly. It's Lloyd.

"I... I thought you were all gone by now..." I say surprised.

"We were just talking about what exactly we are gonna do. I mean, we have to find out where Chen and Clouse exactly are first," he says and sits down on the bed next to me.

"Right... yes,"

"Hey, you know you still need those, right?" Lloyd says and points to the ripped bandages on the floor.

"I don't care," I say simply and look away. Lloyd puts both of his hands on my shoulders and forces me to look at him.

"You know that if you have them on then your bones will heal quicker, right?"
I look into his emerald green eyes and nod.

"How long will it take though?"

"If you rest and keep them on then only around 6 weeks,"
He looked back into my eyes. Our faces were litteraly only 2 inches apart. I wanted to scream '6 WEEKS!?' but I stopped myself otherwise I probably would've burst his ear drums and ruin the moment. My heart was beating so fast I could litteraly feel it banging against my chest.

"Lloyd we ne- oh! Am I interrupting something here?" asked Skylor as she entered the room. Me and Lloyd both jumped back.

"Uh, nope... We were just... Talking," I say. Skylor smirks.

"Whatever. Lloyd, we're going now, you coming?"

"Yeah, gimme a sec,"

"Alright," said Sky. And before she walked out, she gave me a wink. I blushed slightly .

Lloyd got up from the bed, picked up my bandages and gave them to me.

"I want to see your arms wrapped up in them again when I get back," he said and gave me a quick hug before walking out. I sighed.
Alone again.

Skylor's P.O.V.

"Alright, everybody ready!?" I heard Lloyd shout out to the team. Everyone was on their elemental dragons (well, apart from me. I was on Kai's dragon) ready to go.

"Yup!" We all shouted back.

"Ninjaaa go!" Lloyd said and we all started to fly in the direction of Ninjago city.

"I'm not sure if leaving Kaitlyn alone was such a great idea..." I suddenly say to Kai. I know she's over that self-harming stage but who knows what she can get up to alone.

He shrugs, "well, she's not exactly alone. Sensei and Misako are still there," 

"I know but... they're probably minding their own business right now. I doubt either of them will check on Kaitlyn,"

"Sky, how about you trust her a little...?"

"Trust her? Really?"

Kai sighed as if he knew exactly what I was thinking. I think he does, " she's not evil anymore Sky... Chen forced her to do all that bad stuff, remember?"

"Bu-"

"Look, I know you're being cautious. And that's fine but she's your cousin and she's changed,"

"I-I guess you're right... I kinda feel bad for doubting her now..." I sigh. Kai smiles warmly, turns his head and gives me a quick peck on the forehead.

"It's fine but just remember that Kait isn't under Chen's power anymore. She's completely fine and fully one of us now,"

"Mhm, I kno-" I start but am cut off by Jay screaming something.

"Hey! What's that thing below?!" He screams and everyone looks down.

"It's probably just a rock Jay..." sighs Cole. But it doesn't look like a rock. It has a human shape. Oh my gosh, it is a human! What the heck is she/he doing in the middle of a desert?

"It's not a rock Cole... it's a person," I inform him, "c'mon we have to see if they're alright!"
And after I say that, everyone starts landing.
When we finally get down to the sandy ground, we, indeed, see it is a person. A boy to be exact. He has light brown hair and pale skin. His clothes are kind of ripped up and his face has cuts all over it.

"Goodness me, what happened to him?!" Asked Nya in horror.

"No idea..." I say, "but I think that Chen and Clouse can wait a little. We need to get this boy to the bounty and help him." Everyone nodded in agreement. Cole picked him up and held the boy in his arms as we flew all the way back to the bounty...

Kaitlyn's P.O.V.

"You're back early! Did you win already?" I say surprised as I notice everyone land back on deck. I was sitting in my wheelchair, watching the clouds with the bandages back on my arms.

"Well uh, not exactly," says Sky.

I look at them confused, "what happened?"
Sky simply pointed to Cole. And that's when I noticed that he was carrying an injured boy.

"Oh my Lord, what happened to him?" I ask going over to him and Cole.

"No idea. We just found him lying in the desert as we were flying past," replied Lloyd also coming over.

"Well then why are we just standing here? We gotta help him! Zane, do your thing," I say. Zane nods and tells Cole to carry the injured boy into his room.

2 days later...

"Sooo... when exactly are you going to go and save Ninjago..?" I ask Lloyd whilst laying upsidedown on the sofa. It's actually such a hot day today that niether of us can be bothered to move. Kai and Skylor have gone out to get ice-cream and I have no idea what everyone else is doing.

"Uhhh... probably when Zane finishes to take care of that boy," Lloyd replies whilst sitting up from the floor.

"It's quite weird how you found him in the middle of a desert... Do you think that Chen has something to do with this?" I ask.

"That's very likely-" starts Lloyd but is cut off by Zane coming into the room.

"Caleb has woken up," he says.

I frown, "who?"

"Caleb. The boy from the desert,"

"Ohhh!" me and Lloyd say at the same time. I quickly get up from the sofa and go to Zane's room to see that 'Caleb' boy. Lloyd and Zane follow of course.
When I walk in I see Misako sitting next to Caleb and talking to him. The room is set up a bit like when I got almost killed by Chen: weird monitor thingys and cables. Caleb has a confused look on his face when he sees me.

"Isn't she sposed to be dead?" he asks, pointing to me. I immediately feel offended and cross my arms.

"Well as you can see, no," I hiss.

"Alright, chill," he laughs and gives me a smile. I awkwardly smile back.

"I've been talking to Caleb about what happened-" starts Misako.

"It's Chen's fault. I accidentaly found myself on his ship and he kidnapped me. I don't remember what happened next..." Interrupts Caleb and my eyes go wide.

"Chen has a ship...?" Asks Lloyd.

"Yah. A bit like this one," replies Caleb and looks around.

"Great..." I say. An awkward silence follows that and I can feel Caleb's eyes on me whilst I stare... At a wall.

"Heya! We're back! Anyone here?" I hear Skylor's voice from the living room and I'm immediately glad that the awkward moment is over.

"That'll be Kai and Skylor back with the ice-cream," says Lloyd and his eyes light up,"I'm gonna go get it, you coming with me Kait?"

"Sure," I say and we both walk out. Well... I wheelchair out.

"I don't know about you but Caleb seems a bit weird..." Says Lloyd.

"I agree," I say as we get to the living room and find Kai and Skylor with like 5 ice-cream boxes.

"Bubble gum flavour for me!" I scream and go over to them.

"And chocolate for me!" Says Lloyd.

"Heeey! I wanted chocolate!" Screams Cole coming into the room and before we know it, everyone is crowded around Kai and Sky.

"HEY HEY HEY! Guys stop! There's only 5 boxes so everyone has to share anyway! Gosh!" Shouts Kai over the noise that everyone was making. I heard a few groans from some people but everyone agreed on something in the end.
I could already tell that the rest of this day was gonna be crazy.
