John Wayne was one of the first guests who reported a ghost sighting at the hotel.

Ever since, there have been many ghostly occurrences at the hotel reported by guests and staff members.

One is a ghostly bellboy who knocks on random doors, then disappears.

Another is the ghost of a boarder who likes to hang raw meat from a chandelier.

And yet another is a 1970s bank robber who succumbed to a gunshot wound over a drink after his latest heist at the hotel's bar.
