Chapter Two: A Prophecy?

It was dark all around me. nothing but a small blue light. I could hear it whispering to me before it took shape. what stood in front of me was a wolf with piercing blue eyes and fur as white as snow. who are you I asked?

but it did not answer. instead it simply stared at me. Who are you I asked? The better question is who you are Luna the wolf asked. I don't know that answer to that I said sadly. You know who you are not. But you must find who you are the wolf said.

How am I supposed to do that? I am not a wolf I said. That is the point child. if you are not a wolf then what are you the wolf said. It soon turned and started to wonder away. Wait please. Just a clue please. That is all I ask I begged.

I was truly desperate for any kind of answers that I had resorted to begging what was surly a figment of my imagination. The wolf looked back at me for a moment before they spoke. Let it flow through you when it comes. Then find the coin and the stone that belong to you. They will lead you to the answers you desire the wolf said.

what does that mean I asked? but the wolf only bowed its head and disappeared. soon it felt as though I was falling and then it stopped. when I opened my eyes again, I groaned at the bright light being shined at me. she's coming to someone said and soon the light was gone. blinking a few times, I opened my eyes to see my brother Apollos face. what happened and where am I asked.

I couldn't quite focus in on my surrounds clearly. you are in your room Luna. when it got dark and you weren't home mother had father send out the pack to look for you. David found you and brought you back here Apollo said. David found me I said somewhat surprised.

yea. he's got some good tracking senses. guess he had to use them a lot in LA. how are you feeling he asked? like I was knocked unconscious by a truck I said attempting to sit up. soon my mother appeared in my room and started suffocating me with kisses. mom I'm fine. I'm just a little sore I said softly.

you have no idea how worried your father and I were she said. please. the only one worried was you and maybe Apollo I said. Luna your father sent the pack out after you she said. yea with a lot of begging from you no doubt. mom you don't have to pretend that he cares I said.

Luna, he does care. he's just having difficulties she said. so many comments came to mind, but I decided it'd be best not to say them out loud. honey what do you remember my mother asked. not much.

I was walking home from the pack house and I started to feel tired. I started coughing and that's when I couldn't breathe. that's all I can remember I said. well the thing is your home now and your safe. that's what's important my mother said happily. well mom let's let her rest.

her recovery time is good, but she needs sleep to do it Apollo said. of course. we'll be downstairs if you need anything honey mother said. I'll be alright mom. I'm just going to lay here I said. she nodded and walked out of the room.

Apollo give my thanks to David please I said softly. of course. I'll tell him myself he said as he left my room. the moment he was out of sight I slowly got up and made my way to my desk. it was there that I sat and drew until I could fully see the wolf I had seen.

I wasn't sure if it was just a dream or if I really saw it. but the words it spoke to me were clear. something weird was happening and I was going to get to the bottom of it. the next morning, I headed out early and went straight to our shaman. to say she was a little surprise to see me was an understatement.

but none the less she welcomed me in and have me some of her herbal tea. not that I am not please with your visit here Luna. why did you come she asks softly? slowly I handed over the drawing I drew to her. I watched her face as she studied my drawing and then look up at me. is this something you saw she asked?

I'm not sure. I think I saw it in my mind I said. I see. well you should consider yourself blessed. Achak does not show their self to just anyone. so, the wolf has a name I said. yes, they do. Achak never takes the form of any gender since they are just a spirit. but they hold a deep sum of knowledge. did they say anything to you she asks?

nothing that made any sense to me. just something about a coin and a stone that belonged to me I said. well it must have been very important if you are coming here to see me, she said. can you tell me more about our past? things father may not want to tell us. things he may have left out I said.

what is it that you wish to know more about she asks? were there any other creatures other than wolves in our pack I asked? yes. way back before your father was born. vampires magic and werewolves all live in complete harmony. they were friends and some even fell in love.

but after the war with the one they called demon. It was agreed that all the creatures were better off mating with their own kind. mixing blood had been what created the demon. so, everyone eventually stuck to their own and the rest is history she said.

it's strange. what does any of this have to do with Achak or me I asked. I don't know Luna. whatever it is you are going to play a major part in it. Achak wouldn't have showed themselves to you otherwise. now go. I have a feeling someone is looking for you she said.

I nodded and soon raced off towards home. Luna someone yelled once I was close. oh, hey David. is everything ok I asked? yea everything is fine. I just wanted to make sure you were alright he said.

I'm better. thank you for your help yesterday. I'm glad your skills came in handy I said. it was nothing really. I was worried about you he said. well your one of the few that is I said softly. why do you say that David asked? my mother and eldest brother are the only two that seem to care I exist I said.

I'm sure your father cares too. he'd be a fool not to he said. well my father is many things. and close minded is one of them. it's a rough subject to talk about I said. well how about a walk to clear your head David said. I'd Like that. and I'd assume you're coming I said. well if your inviting me then why not David said. I laughed and followed him back out into the forest
