Part 1: Chapter 7
Team 7. So, I'll be on this team? Kakashi is my new Sensei. Alright. Kakashi-sensei.
Haruno Sakura. A peer. New teammate... Miss Haruna.
Uchiha Sasuke. The only one left behind by Itachi, I mean Sir Uchiha. Sasuke. My peer. Sasuke-san.
Naruto's eyes opened. He had been deep in thought. He was summoned by the Third, the reason for the summon wasn't a mystery to Naruto. The reason wasn't a serious matter, the Third simply wanted to congratulate him. "Are you done? It's a habit of yours, if too many things change or something new comes in your life you always take the time to meditate and analyze it," said the Third, sitting at his desk with his hands intertwined and elbows on the desk.
"Thank you for reminding me what my own habits are," Naruto replied sarcastically.
You could see a vein pop up on the Third's head, but he stayed calm. "That's a bit rude of you, Naruto." Though he was acting calm, his voice held a bit of anger.
"I'm sorry, Lord Third."
"You don't sound sorry."
"That's why I'm sorry."
The Third sighed. "He shows respect for many people, but no, not for the Hokage himself," he mumbled to himself, sulking a little. "So, what do you think of your new team?"
"They are... considerable as a team, I suppose these are the perfect teammates for me," Naruto said with his arms folded, a hand on his chin in a thinking manner. The hand wasn't in a fist, but the index finger was in a hook at his lip. He raised his head since it was tilted down and continued, "To speak the truth, I knew you were going to put them with me. It was predictable to me."
The Third's wise laughter filled the room. "Yes, it seems I stressed for nothing. Well, you best get going before your late."
"One more thing," Naruto said. The Third's attention was all on Naruto as he hummed a response. Naruto preached on the window ceil, ready to leap out. "Stop worrying about nothing, would you?" With that, he jumped.
The Third laughed. "That child. Acting like he's the adult while I am, I must be getting old."

The door to the classroom opened to reveal a sight that shocked everyone. Uzumaki Naruto. They wouldn't admit it aloud, but he looked as cool as Uchiha Sasuke, the most popular person in the Academy. That was saying something. The only people left were his two team members. He must have taken a long time since everyone else was gone. He wanted to see the rest of the teams, perhaps see who was placed with Shikamaru and Hinata since he already had a guess.
I wanted to see if I was right, I guess I can scratch that idea out.
The room was silent as Naruto walked to a seat in front of Sasuke. He didn't want to get too close to his future teammate. It was foolish since their next test will probably be about working with his teammates. Naruto knew that, but he just felt awkward being around them especially after the incident with the cherry blossom haired girl.
Sakura, on the other hand, wanted to yell at the boy. Even the boy himself knew she wanted to do it so badly. He could just tell she wanted to say, You're late, you idiot! Where were you!?
He could care less at this point, though. He shouldn't get worked up over a possible friend that could be an asset. She will become very strong at one point. After all, he was at her level at one point, and she's got more potential. Just like how the other girls will also become stronger. He just doesn't know if they will have much potential.
Naruto looked around; he was bored so he decided to test out Kakashi... -sensei.
He got up and heard the fellow male in the class speak, "What are you doing now?" Sasuke seemed uninterested even though he asked the question, and he really wasn't in the slightest, but he just asked for the sake of doing something other than sitting. Boredom made people do the weirdest things, really.
"Testing our teacher to see if he has a good sense of instinct," Naruto said since it was a bit quiet and he wanted to see if he could openly talk to Sasuke. Truly, Naruto actually wanted to talk to Uchiha Sasuke since they were both similar, in a certain way. He never had the courage to speak to him, and at one point he just lost interest. One thing he was sure of though, this boy has potential. He might even surpass Naruto if he became lazy and slacked off.
Naruto opened the door slightly and put a duster on the top. "Isn't that a bit too childish for a jōnin?" Sakura had to ask out of curiosity. Now, this is something that old Naruto would do.
She may be too afraid to talk to him, but this was just idiotic. Deep down though she wanted that duster to hit their Sensei for being so late.
"Perhaps." He wanted to say how he knew Kakashi would be too lazy to dodge and that it would probably just hit him straight on the head depending on his mood.
Sasuke just shrugged and stared blankly at the board, because he didn't want to say anymore. He honestly wanted to just get this over and done with.
"You idiot, that wouldn't work. He is obviously trained well and a Jōnin. Why would you even think it would work?"
Naruto just gave her a look. "Whatever makes you go sleep at night," he said it to her.
Sakura was done with this new Naruto. Both were annoying, but her inner voice thought he looked a bit cool. The normal Naruto was annoying, but she was quite fond of that Naruto too. At the moment, she couldn't figure out which one was better. She really couldn't. It was confusing. Though one thing was for sure, she didn't think she would get used to this Naruto.
