Juleka once again didn't know what to say to make her friend feel better. So she sat there beside her in silence, doing nothing but listen to her friend's soft whimpers. She doesn't want to see her friend devastated like this any longer, but what should she tell her in order to encourage her? Not knowing what to say, instead she decided to give her a sweet, genuine hug.

With that, Rose felt safe in her arms. She knew that she could trust the young lady. Aside from that, she also knows that she has to tell her the reason soon, before things gets any worse somehow.

Rose returned the hug and cried in her grasp. "I-I'm scared", she managed to stammer out, and she needs to tell her more about it, but for some reason the words won't come out of her mouth. But still, even with those few words, Juleka understood what her friend is trying to explain.
