Anxiety POV

I've been waiting.  Trying to meditate, but that always turns out as more of me trying not to hyperventilate while sitting down.

I've been waiting here for a long time.  Or at least, it feels like a long time.  Time always feels slower when I'm panicking.  Maybe that's why the clock in my room spins randomly.  Seriously though, this is the only cherry tree in the mind!  Where else could he have meant for me to go?! My breathing picks up as I think of all the ways that I could have messed up.  Maybe he meant a metaphorical cherry tree?  Maybe I shouldn't have even come? Maybe it was all a diversion? 

I pinch my arm, the sharp pain helping me focus.  I take a shaky breath and hold it until I'm sure I'll pass out if I keep holding it.  Focus.  Breathe.  Repeat.

Thomas POV

Welp. There's a lot of darkness.  I don't know if that's normal or not.  Eh, I guess I'll find out soon enough.

Ok.  Rude. But I guess I deserved that.  I took forever cause I wasn't really satisfied with what I wrote.  So I've rewritten this chapter three times.  But this is good for now.  I'll get to some major reveals in a chapter or two.  For now, I gotta run.
