[WARNING: this chapter contains a mild description of rape.]

This is probably the hardest chapter I've ever had to write. I teared up writing it :/ if you think the previous one was sad, get ready for this lololol.

Ok I might be exaggerating. But enjoy and pls excuse any errors.

We're nearing the end my friendsssss (': I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's a good ending.

≫≫≫

You don't wanna be around when it all goes down

Even heroes know when to be scared

≫≫≫

"Harry, I was raped."

There were no words to describe the mixture of emotions Harry was feeling. No words to describe the way Adriana's heart fell in her chest at the sight of Harry's face when she spoke her words. It was finally out. The truth was out. Harry had always suspected things related to rape, but hearing her say it out loud; to confess that it's happened to her was different. It was painful, and more heartbreaking than he could possibly imagine. He couldn't speak, and Adriana understood but just looked at him with helpless, teary eyes, sniffling quietly before looking away.

"And it's not the first time," she added softly, making his eyes widen.

"W-What?" Harry uttered with tear slipping from his eyes, half in confusion, and half in shock.

"I-I mean it happened a couple of times after that night," Adriana found herself responding with a pained expression. "For the past week or so."

"How-How many times?" he murmured in questioning, heart sinking in his chest when she looked unsure.

"I've lost count," she sniffled. "But no I also meant that it's happened before he found me. It happened a lot...when we were together."

"No...Adriana," Harry whispered with more tears slipping from his eyes, wanting nothing more than to hug and hold her. He reached out to hold her hand but she pulled it away with a shake of her head, eyes squeezing shut. "Baby," he sniffled.

"He has this addiction to sex, no self-control whatsoever," she tried to explain but she was choking up.

"I-I feel so dirty, Harry, so disgusting," Adriana wept quietly, lower lip trembling. She felt like now that the truth is out, she can't stop rambling. "M-My body? It doesn't feel like it's mine anymore. It feels it's his. It's his rag doll to fuck around with and-and defile and-"

She stopped momentarily when a sob forced its way up her throat, but her hand clamped down on her mouth. Her crying was only going to make Harry cry more and she already hated herself for doing that to him. He was sitting there in shock, still unable to fathom that while he was crying over getting his heart broken; the love of his life was suffering immensely in the hands of the most despicable man he had ever met. The guilt, pain and regret he felt in his heart was tearing him apart, but he couldn't let Adriana see that, not all of it even though he was crying. Before he could say anything, Adriana was talking again, elbows resting on her knees with her fingers laced together to stop her hands from shaking so much.

"I lost my virginity when I was 18, and that was when it started," she said in a shaky tone, looking at him. "I always thought my first time would be special, like a lot of girls do. He even made me feel special leading up to it; he took care of me and all that. But-but then he just wouldn't stop moving, and it hurt so much."

"Dean, it hurts."

Adriana grimaced tightly at the way his rock hard member pushed into her, forcing apart her walls and causing them to stretch painfully. Tears dotted the corners of her eyes as she looked up at the ceiling, teeth sinking into her lower lip while she silently told herself that the pain was normal. She kept telling herself that Dean was taking it slow and was trying to make it as comfortable as possible. Dean continued to push into her slowly, pulling his lips into his mouth to stop himself from groaning in annoyance at her words. She just couldn't stop complaining in his eyes. He wasn't even halfway in, and she just couldn't stop crying.

"I know, baby," he replied gruffly, lifting his head up from her neck to sponge a kiss onto her lips. Her warmth and wetness was driving him insane, and it was taking everything in him to stop himself from gripping her tightly and fucking her rough and fast. "The pain will stop eventually, alright just hold on?"

"Okay," she whispered back, wrapping her arms around his neck, shifting her hips and spreading her legs a bit more.

Adriana thought she could endure the pain, but the more he pushed in, the more she wanted to cry and make it stop. At the same time, she forced herself to suck it up and relax a little. She wished Dean would at least kiss her or her neck or try to make the experience a bit more sweet and special, but he seemed to be so overcome and distracted with the pleasure. He was battling internally on whether or not to stop taking it so slow and start picking up the pace. Eventually, it was evident which side won as Adriana felt him push further and further into her, but he was still moving slowly. She started murmuring about the pain again, shaking her head with a pleading tone before she gasped quietly when he gave a small thrust, filling her up completely.

"Ah, Dean," she cried softly in pain, tears finally slipping out. "I told you to go slow."

"Shh baby," he hushed her, burdening her lips with a heavy kiss that silenced her cries. "I'm sorry, it'll be over soon, just stop moving so much."

Adriana felt like she was suffocating under his weight on her body, suddenly finding the feeling of him inside of her way too overwhelming. She wanted it to stop, and her actions indicated it, but she couldn't speak up and say no. Her voice was caught in her throat, she was in too much pain and Dean seemed to be enjoying himself so she was afraid to stop him, knowing how angry he could get. So she just laid there without moving too much, hoping that the pain would subdue eventually, even though it didn't. She laid there thinking this was normal, that she would be too selfish to stop now when Dean was so close to releasing.

But because he was so close, something snapped inside of him and he started moving faster. His patience had worn too thin and he needed more. His fingers dug tightly into her hips, cold rings pressing against her warm skin while his hips shifted with more force and speed. Adriana's lips parted in surprise at his movements, hands pressing against his shoulders with her nails sinking into the skin. Whimpers escaped her throat and she was crying because it hurt so badly and she just wanted it all to end.

"Dean, I-I can't," she tried to say but her voice couldn't be heard over the wild creaking of the bed moving and his heavy grunts.

In that moment, she realized her voice was never going to be heard.

Harry was struggling to keep his sobs from escaping him, hands cupping his face with only his eyes visible, glistening with sorrowful tears as he listened to Adriana's story. His stomach was churning with guilt and he wanted to throw up. He wanted to feel angry, and infuriated but he couldn't, at least not yet because now all he could feel was sadness and pain. It killed him to know that Adriana was going through so much, ever since she was born; it was like she could never catch a break. Harry hated himself for everything he said that could've hurt her, for the break up that occurred and for him constantly bringing up that she cheated on him when in fact she was raped.

"It went on for two years, some of the times I wanted to have sex but most of the times...it was-it was forced," she murmured. "That's why I got onto cocaine so easily, and did it so vigorously. There were just days where I felt so isolated, where I wanted nothing more than to just die. What terrifies me so much is that I still get that feeling, Harry. I felt it yesterday night, I feel it every day and it feeds my addiction."

"But the only time I didn't feel like that was when I was with you," she sniffled, looking at him and to his surprise she smiled. It was a broken smile, but a smile nonetheless.

She looked at him with a deep throbbing pain in her heart, hating the way she made him cry. Her hands reached out to hold his, praying silently that she had the strength to avoid flinching and getting flashbacks of Dean and his horrific actions. Harry stopped her for a moment, removing his rings because he knew how Dean wears rings too and those could act like a trigger for her. When she took his hands in hers, and held them tightly, fingers half-lacing together, she felt this surge of strength go through her because she could physically feel that he was there for her now. That she wasn't alone anymore.

"Harry, those things I said when we broke up, none of it was true except for what I said when I was on the floor with your hands in mine," she told him, bringing his hands up to kiss his knuckles. She remembered the break up like it was yesterday. "I said I don't deserve you and-and that's true because I've put you through so much pain and heartbreak and I've ruined you. I-I said, that you were the only thing that gave me hope and that-that you and Mateo are the only light I can see. God Harry you don't know how true it is."

Adriana's life was the unpredictable ocean. All her life she had been struggling to swim because the waves were relentless, struggling to breathe and keep her head above the water. Mateo coming into her life made it a little easier, the waves were calmer, they weren't roaring, ebbing and flowing, but they still moved. However, when Harry came into her life, the waves didn't feel as overwhelming as they usually did. She could breathe. Even though she knew the inevitable, which was that she was going to get dragged down once and will pull Harry under along with her too. She just held onto those times she was able to breathe, and hoped that one day she'd learn how to swim.

"When-When we ran into each other yesterday, it killed me to know that you didn't believe that I ever loved you. It's not true," she said in a fierce, firm tone. "I look at you, and I just love you. Fuck, I love you more than you'll ever know Harry because you were there for me! You were for me during a time no one else was. You cared for me more than anyone has ever cared for me in my entire life. You loved me, and respected me and made me feel so comfortable and safe whenever we were together. You believed in me, you helped me believe in my dreams and myself. You believed in us. I could never stop loving you for that."

"Don't cry, baby, please don't cry," she whimpered when she heard him let out a quiet sob, muffled by his hands. He was just so overwhelmed with her words. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry for everything."

"W-Why are you apologizing?" Harry questioned in utter confusion, voice breaking between his words.

"I-I dunno, I've hurt you so much and I knew I was going to from the start. I just never anticipated that it would be this bad," she cried desolately. "I tried to protect you, that's why I didn't tell you the truth about Dean when he found me again. If I told you, you would've come for me, and Dean would've found out about us. He would've hurt you to make you to stay away, or worse, he could've killed you. I just couldn't bear seeing you get hurt again, I-I had to protect you."

"You were suffering all this time and you didn't reach out because you wanted to protect me?" Harry questioned in disbelief, his eyes wide and watery.

"Yes," she nodded vigorously. "It would've been hard to reach out but I would've if it weren't for how dangerous Dean is. That's why I said all those hurtful things and broke up with you, to keep you away from Dean until I figured out a way to get away from him."

Harry didn't say anything after those last few words. She knew she overwhelmed him with everything she said, and there was still more to come. Her heart filled with worry as she stared at him expectantly, waiting for him to say something, anything. Harry wanted to speak, but he didn't know how to frame his words. He had stood up and paced around, not wanting her to see the pained expression on his face. He didn't know how to put into words the immense amount of love he had for her. The amount of respect and admiration he had for her strength and selflessness. The amount of guilty and regret he felt deep down for not being there for his love when she truly needed him the most.

"I'm so-" Adriana began to say again because he wasn't speaking, but was immediately cut off by his own words.

"Don't," Harry looked at her, the firmness in his tone shocking her. "Don't you dare apologize for anything, Adriana."

"But I kept this from you for so long," she couldn't help but say with a sniffle. "You deserved to know, I was always hiding secrets from you! It was just-just so hard."

"I know, baby, I know. Just please don't apologize for not telling me," Harry couldn't believe that she was so hard on herself for not telling him earlier. "You've no idea how brave you are, how so fucking courageous and strong you are for telling me, for surviving all of those years of pain and misery. Adriana, you're a warrior and I am in awe of you."

"Harry," she murmured with a shake of her head. "Your words, they're so kind. But...I don't feel strong. I relapsed the day we broke up, and I just keep relapsing. That's not strong, that's just weak."

"My love, you're going through so much no one blames you for doing that," Harry found himself on his knees before her, hands gently grabbing hers and squeezing them with assurance. "You may not believe that you're strong in battling your demons, but baby, coming here today and telling me everything that happened to you since you met Dean, that's bravery. That's you being strong. I mean have you ever told anyone else this?"

"No, you're the only one," she mumbled in response. "I-I don't know, Harry, I feel like I deserve it. I must, right? After all that's been happening, it's just never-ending. This pain is never-ending. So there must be a reason this is happening to me, right?"

"No!" Harry uttered in shock. "You don't deserve any of this, Adriana. No one does! What happened to you is some of the worst things that could ever happen to a person, and look at how far you've come, baby. You've even managed to raise a baby in the midst of all this pain and difficulty, a beautiful, sweet little boy. Please God please baby, I love you so much it pains me to–"

"You do?" Adriana uttered with wide eyes. She didn't know why it shocked her, neither did he, but it had just been so long since she's heard those words from him.

"Of course," Harry cried, tears springing from his eyes, as he looked at her in utter confusion. "I've always loved you Adriana. It used to terrify me, the amount of love I have for you. I'd do anything for you; I'd die for you."

"Don't say that," she immediately responded to the end of the last sentence he spoke. "How could you love someone so damaged like me?"

"Baby," Harry breathed with a pained heart, locking gazes with her and seeing her genuine she was in asking that question. "How could you ask something like that?"

"I-I dunno! I just never thought I could be loved the way you love me, or-or that I deserved to be loved. I never understood why Iris or Hadiya or Jazmín do, hell I still don't really believe them when they say it-"

"Believe me when I say it," Harry cut her off in a firm, genuine tone. "I love you Adriana Decoux, more than anything in this world. You are my moon and I am your sun, always, okay?"

"Oh Harry," she couldn't stop her upcoming cries, throwing her arms out for him to crawl into.

She reassured him that it was okay, that she was going to fight off the cold feeling that made her flinch at male contact. Harry quickly moved to sit next to her before she wrapped her arms around his torso and buried her face into his chest, releasing a heavy sob. His chin rested on top of her head, arms firmly yet gently secured around her upper body, holding him to her. Tears streamed down his cheeks as he closed his eyes, hearing her body-racking sobs echo through his ears. Adriana was fortunately too occupied with crying to react to being so close to Harry, when normally his touch would make her retract.

"I'm here, my love, I'm so sorry I wasn't here before," Harry whimpered as he stroked her hair ever so gently. "I love you, I love you so much baby."

They stayed like that for what seemed like hours, curled up in each other's arms on the sofa. Harry would murmur words of love and comfort every now and then, making sure his hands stayed in its rightful place just in case she'd suddenly feel uncomfortable again. Adriana felt like that entire conversation had drained her, she was tired from crying so much. Despite how difficult it all was, she somehow felt like a weight was lifted off her shoulders now that she told Harry everything that had happened. She somehow felt a little stronger because now that he knew and he understood, he was there for her, by her side, and that was what she needed the most.

However, she was dreading going back to Dean. It was crucial for Harry to stay away because Adriana and Donnie had a plan now, they've been chatting with some drug lords whom all want Dean dead and are formulating a plan to get rid of him. No one would notice Dean was gone except for the men who worked for him, who in fact all hated him. Adriana was dreading having this conversation with Harry because she knew he wouldn't agree to her going back to Dean. She just laid there quietly next to him, trying to enjoy the warmth of his arms around her and the fact that she wasn't uncomfortable or flinching away from his touch. It's like her old body was coming back now that Harry was here.

"I've missed you so much, mi sol," Adriana whispered to him, breaking the silence that had comfortably settled over them for a few minutes now. "So fucking much."

"Whenever I'd feel down because of Dean," she began to say as she gazed at him, deep into his jade eyes. "I'd just think of you. I would think of the joy I used to feel when I would wake up to you every morning, watching you sleep so peacefully like an angel. My only angel. I was so afraid that I had forgotten how it feels to be with you, all wrapped up in your strong arms, making me feel safe and at home. Fuck, I've missed you so much."

"Shit Adriana, I can't stop crying," Harry whined a little quietly, his endearing self making him cry. "I've missed you too, Princess," he murmured at her when she looked at him, the both of them sharing a tiny smile at the nicknames. "I've missed being with you like this, in my arms, close to me so I can't let go."

"Me too, baby," she mumbled back, pulling his hand up to her lips and pressing a kiss to his knuckles. "But you have to."

"What?" Harry uttered in confusion, making her grimace at his tone before she sat up and looked at him. "Adriana, you can't go back to that-that monster!"

"Harry, I have no choice," she muttered with a sigh. "Donnie and I have a plan to get rid of him, we've been talking with a few other drug lords who are willing to do it for us. We just have to do some things in return like find out information for them only Dean would know and for that I have to stay with him for a little more longer."

"I don't understand, why can't you just call the police and report him? He's a drug lord and he's sexually abused you and so much more!" Harry exclaimed with wide eyes. "He can get thrown into prison for like years! I have the best lawyers, it'd be better to do it this way."

"You think I've never tried to report him? At least for the drugs?" Adriana snapped in response, making Harry immediately shut up. "I've tried Harry! Years ago when him and I were together, I tried! The system is so fucking corrupt; people like me never get the justice we deserve! Plus he has the police wrapped around his fucking finger, the control he has on this city is unreal."

"Even if that wasn't the case and we still went to the police, what would happen to me? I did drugs too; I bought them from him for years without even knowing. I would get thrown into prison too and what would happen to Mateo?"

"You're right you're right," Harry mumbled quietly in response. "But if you keep staying with him he's only going to keep r-" he began to ramble before he stopped midway, face grimacing. "He's just going to keep hurting you. You're not safe; Mateo's not safe! Oh God, please don't tell me he's hurt Mateo too."

"No! He hasn't," Adriana quickly reassured him. "He's actually kind to Mateo, most of the time. But sometimes he gets angry and upsets him."

"Oh no, the poor baby," Harry mumbled sadly with wide eyes. "What else?"

"We've fought a few times and Mateo's seen it," Adriana spoke regretfully. "Dean's never really hit me or anything but once we were fighting and he shoved me so hard against the kitchen counter, and Mateo saw it, and god Harry his face broke my heart. Fuck, we didn't even see him there; he just started crying and that's when we noticed. I will never forgive myself for scaring him like that. I've been such a shitty mother."

"Adriana, don't be so hard on yourself," Harry frowned sadly, reaching out to cup her cheek. She moved away a little, the action catching her off-guard before she nodded at him to go ahead, forcing herself to be stronger. "You're not a shitty mother, alright? Mateo is lucky to have a mother who loves him the way you do. He has such a brave, strong, selfless mother like you."

Adriana could've argued more. She could've argued that she was selfish because she always chose cocaine over getting better for herself and for Mateo. But she decided not to because she didn't want to fight Harry right now, and instead nodded. She was convinced that she was a horrible mother and nothing could change her mind. She tried to sit up so that she could leave because it was getting late now and she needed to be back with Mateo before he arrived. Harry pouted as he felt his arms slip from her, quickly moving to stand up in front of her, blocking her way.

"Adriana, I-I can't let you go back to him, I don't want you to get hurt again," Harry said desperately. "Please, just let me go with you and we can bring Mateo here and you can stay with me. It's my turn to protect you."

"Harry, I can't do that. I just told you why," she sighed heavily, pressing against his chest to push him back but he didn't budge. "Dean will find out and he'll come looking for you. I cannot let you get hurt again because of me."

"So what do I do? Just sit here and let you get hurt again by him every day until your plan is put into action? I can't do that!" Harry exclaimed loudly, making her sigh heavily. "I-I can't even bear hearing what happened to you, I won't be able to handle sitting here and doing nothing while he's touching you and-and-"

"Harry, Harry!" Adriana yelled to get his attention because he had begun crying again. "Come here, baby."

The guilt had ripped his heart open and the regret stepped all over the bloody mess. Adriana threw her arms around his neck and hauled him into her, feeling his body shake against hers as he cried. He didn't want to ramble and cry to her more about how guilty he felt, how it was suffocating him and it was going to haunt him for days now because he didn't want her to feel unintentionally guilty for that. He just wanted to lessen the pain for her as much as possible and he hated himself for doing a shitty job at it.

"I promise I will try to fight him, okay?" Adriana told him firmly, pulling back to cup his cheeks and look at him. "It'll be just for a few more days, Donnie is coming over tomorrow to finalize the plan because he's been talking to the drug lords today."

"I wanna come over too, I have to see you and Mateo as much as possible whenever he's not there to make sure you're alright," Harry insisted firmly, pulling away briefly to wipe his wet cheeks harshly. "I want to help as much as possible alright? Even Niall can help."

"Alright," Adriana nodded, thumbs stroking his cheeks and wiping the tears away. "Dean is flying tomorrow in the evening to Vermont for some drug business thing. You can come then and sleep over, around 6?"

"Okay," Harry mumbled softly, not happy at all Adriana's going to suffer again. "Are you sure you'll be okay? No, what am I saying-"

"I'll try to be," she sighed heavily, giving him an assuring smile. "I feel better that you know now, so I promise you Harry, I'll be okay. It's just a few more days until everything is sorted out, we can't afford to mess things up now."

"I understand," he uttered in a quiet voice, holding her hand as they walked to the door. "Do you have to leave right now?"

"Yeah, Dean's gonna be back soon, and I have to get Mateo from Jazmín too," she responded, making him nod before they turned to face each other. "Try not to message or call too much if you're gonna. Just in case he looks at my phone or something."

"And Harry?" Harry looked at her, showing that he was listening attentively. "I know you feel guilty for what happened when Dean found me again. Please don't, you couldn't have known what was happening so please, please don't blame yourself for anything."

"I'll...try not to," he sighed heavily, making her reach out to stroke his cheek lovingly. To his surprise, and hers, she leaned in and quickly brushed her lips against his cheek in a short kiss. She didn't have the time to get uncomfortable from the physical contact,

"Te amo, mi sol," she murmured to him in a sincere tone, full of love and vulnerability. Her heart combusted in her chest when Harry parted his lips to speak in response.

"Te amo más que a nada en este mundo. Eres mi todo."

I love you more than anything in this world. You are my everything.

∙ Hours Later ∙

"Harry, what the fuck? You're wasted!"

Niall stepped over the empty whiskey battle that was on the floor on Harry's bedroom, before walking over to a very drunk Harry who was lying on the bed. Rita had called Niall out of worry that night because as soon as Adriana left, Harry lost it. It was torture for him when Adriana left because he was forced to sit there and just comprehend everything he had learnt that afternoon. He couldn't eat or sleep for the rest of the day. He just felt sick and sad, crying constantly because the guilt was too much to bear. He ended up getting drunk to numb the pain, but went a little overboard with the whiskey.

"N-Not true," Harry slurred, pulling his hand back from his face to look at Niall. He let out a loud whine before rolling over to look at Niall again, but he ended up falling off the bed.

Niall's blue eyes widened, quickly rushing over and helping Harry back up to sit on the edge of the bed with him. He nodded at Rita reassuringly, who was hovering by the doorway in worry, silently telling her that he's got this. Harry slumped against Niall's body, head resting against his shoulder while he sniffled quietly. Niall didn't know any of what happened between him and Adriana after he dropped Harry off at her apartment. He had texted and called Harry several times to make sure he was okay, but he didn't respond. Niall was going to come over eventually, and he was glad Rita had called too.

"What happened, Peach?" Niall sighed heavily, curling his arm around Harry's shoulder when he started whimpering. "Shit you've been crying a lot."

"So much happened, Niall," Harry whispered ever so quietly.

Adriana had told Harry that he could tell Niall what happened to her, more specifically about what Dean's been doing to her for the past week and why she "cheated" on Harry. But she asked Harry not to go into detail with her past, excepting for just mentioning that her relationship with Dean was abusive. She knew Harry wouldn't confide in her about the guilt he felt at least not at this moment, so she knew he needed Niall. Thus, Harry told Niall everything that had happened, breaking down halfway into tears while wrapping his arms around his bestfriend's torso. Niall was in tears too, heart filled with sympathy and admiration for Adriana after hearing what she's been through and is currently going through.

"She's hurting so much, Niall. It's just so unfair," Harry sobbed drunkenly into his chest, clutching his t-shirt firmly between the gaps of his fingers. "I shouldn't have left that night! I should've stayed, maybe-maybe she wouldn't be reliving her nightmares all over again."

"Harry, don't, please, you didn't know," Niall shook his head at his words, watching him pulling his head back and stare at him with his teary eyes.

"I feel so guilty, Niall. How-How do I make it up to her for not being there?" Harry questioned loudly.

"You just be there for her now, Peach. I'm sorry this is all happening, neither one of you deserve this pain," he mumbled, as Harry sniffled and rested his cheek against Niall's chest. "We'll help her get away from him, alright? The two you will be happy together again soon, I promise."

Niall held Harry in his arms for a while, limbs curled around his shoulders with his chin resting on his head, tears running down his cheeks as well. It pained him more than anything to see his bestfriend go through so much pain and guilt, when all he deserved was to smile and be happy. Niall just hoped that this Dean guy would be gone for good soon so that Harry could help Adriana recover and they could be happy again. Niall prayed for a happy ending, but he didn't know that happily ever after's never existed because there was always a sense of unpredictability about life. There was always going to evil and darkness behind every twist and turn in the journey of life.

∙ The next day ∙

"Dean? What are you doing here?"

Dean grumbled and pushed past her, pulling his suitcase along. Adriana was panicking internally, reaching into her pocket and pulling out her phone to call Harry, but he wasn't picking up. That day, Dean left around 5:00 for his flight to Vermont, and Harry was to come around 6. Adriana was confused and frightened now that Dean had randomly returned.

"Dean, I asked you a question!"

"The fucking flight was cancelled," Dean snapped in an irritated tone, before disappearing into the bedroom.

Adriana cursed inwardly at this new information, immediately rushing into the bathroom and shutting the door behind her. She turned on the tap so that the running water would drown out her calling and talking to Harry. But he wasn't picking up. Harry on the other hand was driving, on his way to Adriana's apartment. His phone had died on the way and he had left his car charger in his Range Rover, whereas currently he was driving his Mercedes Benz. He was anticipating seeing Mateo again because he had missed being around the kid.

"Niall?" Adriana spoke urgently, hoping that at least Niall could contact Harry in some way.

"Adriana? What's wrong?" Niall quickly responded.

"Where's Harry? He's not picking up his phone."

"Umm I think he left 15 minutes ago. Why what's wrong?" Niall mumbled with a frown.

"Dean's fucking flight got cancelled. He's here, Niall," Adriana rambled in a panicked tone, making Niall's heart drop in his chest.

"Fucking shit, okay I'll try calling Harry. You just stay by the doorway and watch out for Harry, and keep Dean in the bedroom so he doesn't suspect anything," he told her. "It'll be fine, don't worry."

"I'm trying not-" she began to say before she heard the doorbell ring. "Oh fuck, he's here."

Adriana hung up on Niall while turning the facet off, before she sped out of the bathroom to answer the door. Her heart dropped in her chest when she found Dean already unlocking and opening the door. Harry's smile was completely wiped off his face when he face to face with Dean, who stared back at him in utter confusion. Harry's pale eyes darted to Adriana who was behind Dean, noticing her facial expression, how terrified she was for what was about to happen. They both knew that they were fucked. They were pulled out of their thoughts when Dean parted his lips to speak.

"Harry? What the fuck are you doing here?"

∙SHIT is about to go down y'all! What do you think of that chapter?

∙ what do you think is gonna happen in the next chapter?

∙ y'all I had to listen to SO MANY sad songs just to get into the mood to right this chapter. I really really really hope I captured Adriana's experience and struggles well. I read so many statements and stories from rape survivors and man I cry. I really wanted to get invested and feel the pain in order to write this chapter.

Once again, my thoughts, prayers and love goes to out to those who suffer immensely like Adriana does. Whether it be from rape, child abuse, drug abuse, depression etc. I pray for you to stay strong and fight. You are all warriors.

Until we meet again...
