Confronted

-Lacey's POV-

The wagon went out of our village and went into the forest. The forest went on for a while and halfway through, and woman flipped off of the wagon and started to run. I shook my head. 'It's nighttime, she's never going to get anywhere.' And my suspicion came true when screams were heard a little ways away where she had ran. They faded and stopped as we continued towards the center the forest, and we came up to a nether portal that was bigger than any I'd ever seen. Probably designed for taking bigger things through. We passed through with ease and I saw the red and lava-filled terrain, full of wandering Pig-men and flying Ghasts. As the wagon bumped and swayed against a netherbrick trail, a huge castle came into view through the fog. I looked up in awe at the gigantic structure, but then Opal nudged me. I looked down at her, her eyes surrounded by a red and puffy rash. She sniffled and I put my still tied arms around her neck. "It's going to be alright. Just stay strong, okay?" I whispered and she nodded, still sobbing quietly. The front gate opened up, and the wagon went through. Going in and out of different halls, we came to a large room with wither skeleton guards leading up to a emerald, iron, and diamond throne. Then I saw him. Everyone in Minecraftia knew his name, but they all thought he was just a story made up to get kids to behave. But no, he's real. His eyes glowing like two moons in the night sky, he rose from where he was and stood. The undead driver jumped off of the horse, bowing and then saluting. He then spoke in a language that I could not understand as Herobrine walked towards him. They both exchanged a few words in the foreign tongue and then came to the back of the cart that held most of my fellow townsfolk. Two of the wither skeleton guards came up and opened the back, dragging everyone out one by one. Me and Opal were the last few, but we were stopped and brought to the side. The rest were taken out of the room, but I couldn't understand why us two stayed. I knelt down next to my sister, she was now crying her eyes out. I shushed her a little, but she looked behind me and started to hyperventilate. I turn around, being face-to-face with Herobrine himself staring at us both. I stand up slowly and stay in front of Opal, who puts her face in my shirt. "Now, isn't this touching," he says crossing his arms over his chest, "a sisterly bond that almost can't be broken... It makes me sick." He lifts his hand and I feel my body seize up. At the flick of his wrist, I go flying into a wall and tumble to the floor. Opal screams and as I weakly look up, I see Herobrine approaching her. As I stand up my body aches from the sudden impact, screaming for me to stop moving. I run and stand in front of Opal again, blocking his path. He stops and looks me up and down, then he smirks. "Either you're really brave or stupid to be doing this. Either way it plays out, you'll be dead at the end of it." I take a step forward. "Stay away from my sister." I say almost growling. He looks unfazed by my threat and continues. "Your sister has something I want." I look away from him and glance at the shaking little girl behind me. I turn back around and look into the glowing white orbs that he calls eyes. "You can't have everything you want in life." He laughs, sending chills down my spine. "It's not hers in the first place." He says still laughing. "Can you at least tell me what you're talking about?" He gives me a glare that almost pierces through me. "She has a- let's say 'gift'- that when she kills a mob, she gets it's powers. Let's take my guards for example;" he gestures towards the wither skeletons in the room and continues, "if she were to defeat one of them, she would be able to get the the power to 'wither' a person." I shake my head, trying to take it all in. "How do you know that? She's never killed a mob, let alone have the powers of one." "Because I can sense humans auras. And humans who have powers like this don't have an aura. Guess what aura I see around her... None."
