Nathan's release - from what??
Run. What else?? Nathan had to get out of here quickly. He ran through the club, out of the door and into the night air. It felt nice to be conscious for more than 5 minutes. As the air stroked his cheek - Nathan contemplated what had just happened.
He just attacked the one guy he couldn't fight and knocked him unconscious. A new feeling grew within Nathan, a thirst to do it again. It was like a drug, and Nathan an addict.
Something clicked - like he felt as though this is what he was meant for. For days, people had been telling him who he was and what he should do. But this was Nathan's life, he decided where it went from here.
As he walked down the street, Nathan picked up a metal pipe and swung it over his shoulder. He didn't know where he was going, but he did if that makes any sense. Each suddenly confident stride nearly bigger than the last. Nathan was coming to terms with who he was, a demon.

Dark hid in the street shadows, observing every movement around him. Something didn't feel right - as though something more powerful than him lurked within these stone cold houses. For now he shook off the feeling, waiting for something...anything...strange to happen.
Watching a distant alleyway, Dark could see someone emerging from the shadow. It wasn't subtle, someone was just walking out into the open - what seemed to be a pipe over their shoulder. Their outline and figure looked familiar too, but no...it couldn't be...
"Dark!!" It was Nathan.
"Dark!! Get your ass out here now!!" Nathan's voice was hoarse, likely because he hadn't used it in a while. Dark couldn't believe it, Nathan had finally embraced being a demon. He could tell from the confidence, the way his movement was suddenly unnaturally swift.
No way was he going out there, not out of fear but out of shear annoyance. Natemare had one job to do and he couldn't even do that. After everything Dark had given him - a home, food, blood...dare he say it but he even gave him Anti.
Nathan was just walking around aimlessly, no sense of direction in his step. But he seemed more...alive. Humans being more alive than demons, that's saying something. What convinced him to choose his demonic path though?? Something must have triggered it.
Dark needed to find out - but talking to the newly found Nathan Sharp wouldn't be an easy task...
