Writer's Note-

Jennie's Pov

Each one of us have a routine, a routine that we follow every day. Same is with me, I don't have any special routine either. I wake up by the beeps of my alarm which is followed by brushing and bathing, since mornings are usually busy, I often skip my breakfasts. 

Now, even though my mornings are no different than most of yours, there is one thing that makes my day special. I work in a video editing company, despite having a good family business to run there's just one reason why I work in this company. It is my first one-sided love, Kai. I have liked him since my high school years, we did not go to the same school but we accidentally ended up meeting at a convenience store near our schools. 

Well, you can say that it was love at first sight, but the more I knew about him the more I liked him.  During those days, I was given a car and a driver to travel to school every day but I would prefer walking; just so I could see Kai's school on the way. Each day, I hoped to see him on the way and walk him to his school to know him more. Unfortunately, I hardly had the luck to see him because he used to leave early for school to practice basketball. 

However, fortunately my bad luck didn't last forever, after the basketball nationals, Kai quit the basketball team due to his sudden interest in videography. This way, I was able to see him every day, I also noticed that despite having many friends at school, Kai always walked to school alone. I took this as an opportunity to talk to him. Pretty soon, we became friends, and according to him we still might be friends. Anyway, seeing Kai each day and talking to him is something that makes my routine different from others.

Kai's Pov

I hate getting up in morning, well I hate mornings. I didn't hate them from the beginning, I remember during my high school years I loved getting up in the morning to go for basketball practice. However now, I have to pull all-nighters to finish my projects.

 I work at this agency, which produces videos for advertisements of rising models, celebrities etc. in the entertainment industry. To most people this might just a video company but to me it does mean a lot. Ever since my high school, I was determined to be a director. 

So as of now, I am working at this company called LINSOFT as assistant video director to gain some experience. I don't have a lot of people to talk with in the company, so I usually stick to my work, but my high school friend, Jennie becomes a great company whenever I feel bored. Many people at the office think that we are dating however that's not true, to be honest, I believe these years are very crucial for me to develop my career therefore I just can't afford the time to date.

Jennie's Pov

I was entering the building when see Kai, I run to him and pat on his back, 

"Good Morning Kai!"

 "Morning!"

,he replies back. Then we started talking about the ideas we had to promote the advertisement for BBX Cosmetics. Even though Kai might seem like an k-pop idol, he did not have many people around him due to his straight forward and extremely professional behavior at work but still, this made me like him even more. 

{Later in the Day}

I was in the restroom when overheard the conversation of two new interns in our team, 

"Did you see our assistant director?... He is so handsome! Is he a model by chance?" said one of them.

 "Model? Idk about that but he does have a temper of a celebrity, he scolded at me for using the filter different from the one decided, I told him it was a mistake but he just wouldn't listen. Besides, if you have any interest in him then let me tell you.....I guess he is already dating."

 "Already dating?! Who?"

 these questions were suddenly fired at the second intern by the other, to be honest that girl told exactly what I wanted to know. Hearing this, the second girl replies,

 "She works in our team, her name is Jennie. I am not sure but Kai talks to her the most."

( My name? She said my name! Omg, hearing this itself make my heart flutter!)

 I did not like them talking about Kai that way, but I did want the dating rumor to become a fact. Yes! I no longer want to just remain a friend to Kai, I want to be with him, see him, hug him just anyone would want. I wanted my first love to come true.
