I opened my eyes slowly and turned to see Jaclyn still sleeping in my arms. I smiled and kissed the too of her head. Back together with her felt so good and I can't contain my happiness within me.

Yesterday, she insisted that we hangout at the rooftop. I told her that's going to be chilly because autumn wind will make her sick. She made me stay up there for a solid 20 minutes until we rushed back inside.

We made love all night and slept at dawn. I checked the time and it's almost twelve. I turned to her and started kissing her bare shoulder. She moved a little bit and I watched her opening her eyes slowly.

"Morning." I smiled and instead of answering me, she crashed her lips to mine right away. She pulled away and said. "Morning."

"Afternoon.. to be precise." I said and she checked the time.

"Nailed it." She said as she hugged me.

"I actually bought two nintendo switch yesterday." I said and she looked up to me. "Really?" She asked and I nodded. "I bet they're already here.. how about we play that?"

"Yes!" She said and I got up from the bed. I put on boxer and sweatpants on. I walked out from the room and opened the door to see the package is here. I brought it in and put it on the kitchen table.

"It's here?" Jaclyn asked from the room.

"Yes!" I answered as I took a small knife out to open the box. I put it back and Jaclyn rushed out from the room wearing my hoodie. She squealed seeing it and I picked her to so she can sit on the kitchen table.

I stood between her legs as I gave her one box for her to open and one for me to open. We both opened the new nintendo switch and she squealed. "You got the animal crossing special edition?" She asked as she showed me the box.

"Yup.."

"This is so cute!" She quickly opened the box and pulled out the controller.

"No way!" She said and she gave me a long sweet kiss on my lips.

"Thankyou!"

"Welcome, babe!"

"Let's install this and play on the TV." I said and she nodded. I helped her get down and we both installed the nintendo switch together and connect it to the TV. I let her play first and I decided to cook us lunch because we're hungry.

"You're having fun?"

"Yes!" She said and I smiled. I started to boil the water to cook the pasta. I'm going to make a carbonara spaghetti with chicken breast. My phone rang from the living room.

"Babe.. it's someone named Bernard."

"Can you answer it and put it on loud speaker for me?" I asked her. She rushed over to me and answered the phone putting it on loud speaker.

"Hello." I answered.

"Hello Noah!"

"What's up man?"

"I'm good, how about you?" I asked him.

"Well, I'm getting married!" That surprised me and I turned to see Jaclyn looking at the pasta.

"Really? When?"

"In a month and I want you to be my best man."

"Okay then.. so where will you get married?" I asked as I cracked an egg.

"In Hawaii."

"That's awesome, so.. who's the unlucky girl?" I teased him and the timer for my pasta went off. I turned to Jaclyn.

"Babe.. do you mind straining the pasta? But please leave a bowl pull of pasta water first."

"Oh okay!" Jaclyn said.

"You have a girlfriend?" Bernard asked in a shock tone.

"Don't you see the news?"

"Could you blame me? I'm more invested in my work than watching the news." He hissed.

"You're dating Jaclyn Rae?!"

"Babe, wanna come and say hi?" I requested to video call and he accepted it. I put my phone leaning on the vase that I have on the kitchen table. Jaclyn waved at Bernard.

"Hi."

"Holy shit!" Bernard said and I chuckled.

"What?"

"This is what you're getting from saving people's lives man." Jaclyn laughed hearing it and I turned to her.

"How about you? You never told me you have a girlfriend and suddenly you're getting married." I said raising my eyebrows to him.

"I met her through friends about 6 months ago and we just.. hit it off. She's amazing.." He blabbered.

"That's great.. so when will you comeback to New York?"

"Around next week."

"Great!"

"I'll text you and we can introduce our girlfriends with each other." Bernard said and I gave him a thumbs up. He ended the call and I chuckled.

"He's loud."

"He's my childhood friend. He's managing his family's vineyard in Italy as we speak."

"He's Italian?" Jaclyn asked.

"Half Italian. His dad is American and his mom is Italian."

"Interesting.." She said and I put the pasta into the pan filled with the sauce. I put some pasta water in and mixed the pasta together.

"You're hungry huh?" I asked and she nodded. She took the plates that I prepared earlier and gave it to me.

"Oh.. I forgot to ask you." I turned to her.

"Hmm?"

"What happened yesterday with Chelsea? Is she okay?" Jaclyn helped Chelsea with something yesterday. Even Jayson who sat beside me got a little bit anxious. He didn't show it but I can see from his gestures.

"She's not okay. I mean.. I don't know the real reason why she's like that but.. I'll call her later on."

"Okay." I said as I put the spaghetti on the plate.

"This looks so good!" She squealed as she took out two forks from the drawer. We both decided to eat at the living room while watching netflix.

"Thankyou.. for cooking.. this is so good." Jaclyn said as she finished her last bite.

"Glad that you like it.. so.. let's play the switch?"

"Yes!" She said and she gave me a peck on my lips.
