Chapter 1

No-one's POV

"So, do you accept the challenge?" the principal asked the school's head boy, holding out his hand to make a deal.

"I'll try my best, ma'am," he replied, shaking his hand, solidifying their deal, like an unbreakable vow.

Vince's POV

I leant on the wall of the entrance to the roof. There was a gap between the entrance and the fencing that was small and cosy. I was listening to music through my dark grey AirPods, listening to a mixture of Panic!AtTheDisco and Steven Universe songs. A weird combo, I know, but my parents are complete opposites, so it was bound to happen to one of us. Oh yeah, I have five siblings. We also babysit one of my mum's friend's kids, as his dads an alcoholic, and a ghost kid. Don't try to make sense of it, trust me it's impossible.

Just as Victorious started playing, I was tapped on the shoulder by someone pretty tall, as I'm the tallest in the school and this guy didn't have to lift his arm up too high to tap me. Reluctantly, I took out an ear pod and showed I was paying attention, giving him a death stare the entire time.

"Miss G-" The boy started, before I covered his mouth with my hand.

"Tell Little Miss Persistence that no one she sends will help my 'troubled' personality," I hissed at The boy in front of me, catching him off guard. He turned around and left for the office as I plugged myself back in and continued to listen to Panic!AtTheDisco.

"Heeyyyyyy Edgy~" I heard a voice tease from behind me.

"Go away, Jayden," I groaned, turning my music up higher, shutting her out.

"That's no way to talk to me, Vincey!" She replied, pulling out my earphones and stuffing them in her chest pocket, just to annoy me.

"Yes it is," I retorted, playing my music out of my phone instead, which was in my back pocket so she couldn't grab it.

"Why are you like this hot topic," she muttered under her breath, getting a middle finger from me.

                             "Profanity!" She gasped, faining offence.

I chuckled and rolled my eyes, causing her to start laughing aswell.

Kai's POV

This kid will be tougher then I expected. Usually they're just some guy or girl who skips class most of the time, but he's... different. I can feel it.

I wandered around the empty halls, instructing lingering students to head to class. I couldn't get this boy off my mind.

                       I can't be falling for him, he's a boy and I'm a boy, so it's impossible.

He can't be one of them, they don't know how to come here.

                        They could of, though.

It's been a few years since me and my father escaped.

I won't assume the worst however, as that's not what my people do. I'll try to see the good side of this! It's a new experience, and that can only mean a learning point. Yes, that's a good thing about this all. It also means I won't have to deal with childish first years picking fights with other kids to look cool in front of their friends.

Wondering down the hallway, I saw the boy I was thinking about flirtatious arguing with another girl who was a few years under him. She was known for random flirting with people she had just met, but was also known for never losing a fight, so it was no wonder she attracted him.

"It's class time, lovebirds," I scolded them, and them both fake gagged.

"Ew him? Ew ew ew ew ew ew!" Jayden exaggerated, getting a half offended half reciprocated face from the troublemaker.

"Not her she's disgusting!" He groaned, getting whacked over the head form the girl.

"Well why were you flirting then?" I questioned, folding my arms thinking I had caught them.

"We were teasing, he's my brother!" Jayden exclaimed, rolling her eyes.

"Are you sure? You don't look alike," I mentioned, trying to get them to reveal they were flirting.

"Vincey you forgot your homework," someone called out from a nearby classroom.

She was the new Science teacher, Miss Glitch, who didn't look as professional as she probably should. She had on a white shirt with a pink tie that slowly transformed into an orangey colour at the tip. She was wearing formal dark grey jeans and black boots that looked like they went over her knees. She also had an orange hoodie tied around her waist, which made her look less formal. She also had extremely short hair that she as shaved at the side with one eye a lighter shade then the other, seemingly a problem with the pigment.

"Mum why..." he groaned, snatching the papers out of his mother's hands.

"You also better not get into fight, Jayden! Unless it's with Regina George and her gang," she thought aloud, Jayden saluting her.

I cleared my throat to catch their attention.

"Whose the nerd, you boyyyffrrriiieeennnndddd?~" she winked at Vincent, who rolled his eyes.

"Please, I may be desperate but I have standards!" He rolled his eyes, almost at the exact same time I did.
