After much intrusive questioning and prodding from his sister Fr/N kept a bit of space from meggy to not add to the fire but didn't do anything when meggy closed the gap between them.

"She's a keeper." Jazz whispered in his ear making him blush.

The next day Jazz took over for Fr/N for the adventures as he decided to try and look up the history of the island.

"Of course he gets a boring day of doing nothing." Meggy mumbled as they walked the boardwalk with jazz and Auri.

"Oh trust me, he's saving you the monotony of how he researches. 10 to 12 books at a time for cross references." Jazz said shivering. "Let's just enjoy the time we have right now to relax and soak in the venue." She said to meggy smiling apologetically.

"I mean I guess he's diligent." Meggy muttered as she nodded in agreement before feeling a rumbling from down the boardwalk before hearing music.

"That music... It can't be..." Auri said in shock and awe as a van crested the boardwalk.

"ITS FRANKY FRESH AND THE FUNKY FORCE!" He cried happily.

Meggy and jazz looked over quizzically at the approaching van that slid itself around so the rear faced the drawn in crowd.

The back opened up to reveal four disco droids dancing dutifuly. Meggy and jazz looked horrified as the four danced out of the back.

"Oh they're dancers." Meggy said loud enough over the music.

"That's one way to describe them..." jazz said feeling like she could hurl.

"They're not just dancers they're crimefighting dancers!" Auri said excitedly.

As the mayor and Franky were explaining things Meggy got a text from Fr/N and had to push jazz away a bit since she got too close looking over her shoulder.

"Well it looks like there was someone that was taken out during a Phoenix festival... and it was someone who ruled with an iron fist." He texted.

"Called it." Jazz muttered. Unaware that the crowd that had gathered started to move towards the van unexpectedly causing them to get dragged in unwillingly.

Once inside Jazz looked around perplexed. "The heck kinda Tardis logic is this?" She said just loud enough for meggy to hear.

"Ok glad I'm not the only one confused about the size of the inside vs the outside." She sighed in relief before talking with Auri about the funky force.

"I was a moderator on their fan board and bought all the rarest merchandise!" Auri said excitedly as jazz looked ready to list off something.

"Funky force Frosty Flakes, Funky force firefighter fone, funky force fun fork, and their short lived political career!" Auri listed.

"Yep... I'm gonna take a more hands off approach to this one." Jazz said having four of her fingers extended making meggy look at her confused.

"What's up jazz?" She asked.

"Too much like my old mans schemes. Try not to do anything too brash... I'd hate to have to bring Fr/n into something I could've avoided." Jazz said looking at the ginger

"Heh, no promises." Said ginger admitted. "But they should be lucky to meet such a big fan." She said looking back to Auri as another fan cried as he jumped out a window.

"Harsh." Jazz muttered looking at her brothers girl and Auri. "I should at least try to protect her... these guys give me the creeps." She muttered to herself as they entered the audition room.
