Crashing the party.
So Y/n had been gone for a good while at this point. People had been worried about him. The belief was at first that he was kidnapped. But nothing came out about his whereabouts and many decided to give up and assume he was dead. But a friend of his was less than willing to do so.
He knew Y/n couldn't just leave without a trace with no good reason. So he began searching your old place and found that your computer chair was pretty much smashed to bits. As he investigated he found traces of weirdly colored hair all over your room.
"Y/n never mentioned being into cosplay." He muttered taking a better look at it before he saw the orange strand glitch.
"I don't think this is cosplay wig strands. Something happened and I need to know what." He muttered taking the strands with him before he got a call from his sister.
"Don't forget you have that vacation planned to go to Barbados!" She said with slight irritation having gone early with the rest of his family.
"I'll join you soon. Don't worry." He said with an air of confidence before a cold feeling came over him.
"You had one of those 'karma is gonna bite me' moments didn't you?" His sister said over the phone.
"Yeah, guess you felt it too." He said a bit worried.
"Hopefully whatever happens, you end up happy." She said a bit sad.
"Hey, I bet you'll end up being happy with someone." He responded to try and cheer his twin up.
"Hopefully not a total wimp." She said before shivering.
"Jeez karma hates us today." You chuckled.
"Yeah, hopefully mine isn't gonna haunt me for a while." She said a bit on edge.
"Remember try not to think about it and the karma will just at worst make you trip." He advised before heading off to the airport.
"Hey I gotta get going. If I don't make it tell mom karma got me good." He said before ending.
"I will." She said somberly before hanging up.
Your friend gulped then got a taxi to the airport. And all was smooth but the nagging feeling that any moment your karma could come for you was growing stronger and stronger. Even when he got on the plane he didn't feel that much better.
But take off was smooth and he found himself at cruising altitude within minutes. He released before fate and karma decided they wanted to cash their IOU. And soon the left engine blew out and ripped a hole in the fuselage causing small things to be ripped out of the plane along with your friend and his luggage (luckily) before the something blocked the hole.
Good News: he wasn't gonna die in a plane crash, he had his luggage, and he was right.
Bad news: he was probably gonna die on impact, loose his luggage anyways, and he was right.
But before he could come to accept death a bright light blinded him from all sides.
"Here's hoping I make a splash." He thought as he closed his eyes to shield from the blinding light.
