Chapter 29: Fight Back

Dark

How many times? Once? Twice? Thrice?

Maybe I can say that there are many. I have watched and witnessed the mistreatment of that person many times.

He passed through the hands of his father, who had done nothing but hurt and enslave him since his mother disappeared.

How many times have I seen him judged by the people around him?

How many times have I seen him not say a word even though he was in so much pain?

It's always been like that. What he always did was keep quiet about everything, even though I knew he had the ability to fight.

Quiet.

Kind.

Pure.

Chase is the type of person who doesn't deserve what's happening to him. I don't know if that fool used to be a saint or if he was just surrounded by angels. Therefore, he always has a halo on top of his head.

I really don't get why he doesn't take revenge, even though he always thinks about it.

Ever since we came back after he completely forgot about us, we've been a pain in his ass. At this point, we couldn't hold back, and I used all my strength to get our colleague Flint out. Because if we hadn't done anything, we might have been caught dead before.

It's just annoying. People are doing nothing, but they don't stop bullying.

So, when I discovered that Fourteen also wanted revenge, I didn't hesitate to go and give it to him.

Because of this world, it is easy for people who have strong hatred and anger in their hearts to be dragged into darkness. People who will do anything just to get revenge, even if they don't know what the consequences of their actions will be.

If people are consumed by anger, they don't know what to do other than take revenge.

They think of nothing but revenge.

From where I was standing in the four corners of the room, I immediately noticed the row of pictures of people I was familiar with posted on the wall.

Almost every photo of these people is smeared with blood or has been pierced by sharp objects because some of them have been damaged or look like they've been tortured.

The light went out several times, the room was messy, and some weapons were scattered on the floor and bed, such as guns, knives, and a syringe with only vials.

After walking inside the room a few more times, I heard a loud crash coming from inside a door.

From where I stood, I could hear what was happening inside.

"Mga hayop kayong lahat! Papatayin ko kayo!"

Absent-mindedly, I leaned against the door and smelled his fury. It's very powerful, and it carries a lot of pain.

This kind of thing only happens once in a while. A wonderful event for me.

I keep hearing noises inside, and several times I hear a few names.

Names of people he wants to kill with his own hands.

I couldn't help but smile since I could feel his anger that he had been harboring for a long time.

I took advantage of the opportunity and touched the door slowly. In the blink of an eye, I saw the young man looking in the mirror with sharp eyes, ready to take his life at any moment.

The light turned off again, and for the fifth time, I decided to open it, and I appeared behind him.

"Chase?" He turned his back on me, but I could see the shock in his eyes when he realized that no one was standing behind him.

He turned his gaze back to the mirror and was shocked to see me with black eyes, like a demon.

"What the actual fuck, Chase?" He was surprised to see that I was different from when he saw me at school.

I smirked and said, "A terrible night for you, young man with a grudge." I greeted him. He quickly grabs a Swiss knife and focuses on the image of me that he sees in the mirror.

I could see the fear in his eyes, causing the smile on my lips to grow wider.

"Hindi ikaw si Chase? Who are you? Are you a ghost? A demon? What kind of creature are you?" he asked thoughtfully.

"Just take it easy on the question, kid. I am here to offer you..."

"O-Offer? Of which?"

"It will be a win-win situation if you agree with me."

"Tell me first what agreement you want.

I smiled at what he said.

"How about we team up and get revenge on the whole class? What do you think?"

I'm pretty sure that this guy will agree with me. Who doesn't? You can take revenge. The people you want to kill will die at your own hands.

From fear, his eyes suddenly changed to hatred and anger, causing him to forcefully plunge the knife he was holding into the glass.

"Hindi ko tatanggihan 'yan. Gusto ko silang mamatay sa aking harapan at ako mismo kikitil ng buhay nila habang naliligo sila sa sarili nilang dugo!" I could feel the anger in his voice.

"The agreement is..."

He cut me off, saying, "I don't care about the agreement anymore! Let's just be partners and kill them all!"

I smirked at what he said. He doesn't want to know my agreement. Well, that's up to him. It's his life that's in exchange... It looks like in the future, someone will take my life away.

That would be lovely if that happened.

Fourteen will be mine.

SA HINDI malamang dahilan, parang sinapian ang katawan ni Fourteen nang ilang beses nitong tinatabingi ang kanyang ulo na parang may kung anong p'wersang nagpapagalaw rito.

Ilang beses na nagpapalit-palit ng mukha ni Chase at Fourteen hanggang sa tuluyan na ngang nanaig si Dark na imani-obra ang katawan ni Fourteen.

Sa nangingitim nitong mata at nakakatakot na ngiti na parang isang demonyo, siniklaban ng takot si Ryder na nasa katawan ngayon ni Kirl. Alam niyang seryoso at delikado si Dark lalo na't tumagal na ito sa katawan ni Fourteen.

Makikita ang takot sa mata ni Ryder dahil alam niya kung bakit nakipagsundo ang isa nilang kasamahan sa isang taong na nasa kahinaan nito.

"Fuck you, Dark!" Ryder shouted.

"Tumahimik ka, Ryder. Isa ka pang mahina rin. Nagpa-under ka kay Chase! Kung hindi ako lumabas baka patay na ngayon ang katawan na pinamalalagian natin!" Galit na sigaw ni Dark at mas hinigpitan nito ang pagkakahawak sa malaking sanga na nasa kanyang kamay.

Ryder clenched his fist in anger.

He could no longer understand what was happening to his colleague. He knew it was scary, but he never thought that he would do such a horrible thing.

"Hindi ako under kay Chase! Marunong lang akong sumunod sa isang taong kayang pahalagahan ang buhay! Hindi mo ata nakukuha ang gustong tahakin ni Chase! Sabihin na nating mahina siya o lampa. Pero mararamdaman mong makatao siya at higit sa lahat, pinahahalagahan niya ang mga tao sa kanyang paligid! Ikaw? Bakit ka nga ba gumawa ng desisyon na alam mong wala naman katuturan?" buong tapang na tanong ni Ryder.

Dark laughed evilly, "Do you really think that life is fair, huh? Ano ba sa tingin mo ang ginagawa ko? Hinahayaan na lang na mawala sa mundong 'to? Come on, Ryder! Alam kong gusto mo rin magkaroon ng katawan katulad ng nangyayari ngayon! Sawa ka nang manatili sa dilim at nakikinig kung paano apihin ng mga tao ang taong nagngangalang Chase! Kung sa k'wentong gusto mong isulat ay laging naapi ang bida, p'wes ako iba ang gusto kong maging ending ng k'wentong 'to... at 'yon ay mamuhay gaya ng isa tao!" sagot nito.

Ryder shook his head and gave the person in front of him a huge grin.

"Oo! Alam ko sa sarili ko na minsan ko na ring hiniling na mangyari 'to. Pero hindi ako tulad mo... baluktot ka mangatwiran. Porque't makapangyarihan ka sa aming apat ay gagamitin mo ito sa mga bagay na hindi naman dapat----"

He was cut off. "Enough! I had enough of these bullshits! That's why we lived in Chase's body because we have different principles and views on life. But unfortunately, I just prevailed more than you—ahhh!"

Suddenly, Dark fell to the ground, and upon looking up, he noticed the presence of one of his companions.

Alexis was holding on to a large pipe, and now it was on Rapper's body.

Alexis was not satisfied yet and hit Dark several times, who was now struggling to stand due to the force of the impact.

"You should stop, Dark, sa mga kahibangan mo! Waahhh!" Alexis screamed, pouring all her anger into him.

Isang plano ang nabuo ni Chase na agad naman sinang-ayunan ng mag-nobyo. At ito ay ang gamitin ang mga katawan nila. Bago pa man sila magtungo sa lugar kung saan gaganapin ang laro ay nagawa nang lumipat nina Alexis at Ryder sa katawan nina Rapper at Kirl.

Kung hindi mapapakiusapan si Dark na bumalik kay Chase ay dadaanin nila ito sa marahas na paraan. At 'yon ay ang gulpihin ang katawang pinamamalagian ni Dark hanggang sa manghina ito at tuluyan na siyang makalabas.  Kailangan din si Chase para diretsong bumalik si Dark dito at sa oras na matagalan si Dark na makabalik sa katawang lupa, mawawala rin ang tatlo pa.

At sa pagkawala ng apat na persona ni Chase ay dito na tuluyang mawawala sa katinuan ang binata. 

Napag-usapan naman ito ng tatlo at tanging pag-sang-ayon lamang ang nagawa ng mag-nobyo dahil ito ang kagustuhan ni Chase.

Wala na siyang pakialam kung siya man ang tuluyang masiraan ng bait, huwag lang madamay ang mga tao sa kanyang paligid.

Samantala, mabilis na itinaas ni Dark ang kanyang kamay at sinalag ang sumunod na paghampas ni Alexis. Walang kahirap-hirap niyang pinigilan ang malakas na p'wersa ng pagkakahampas sa kanya nito. Madali lang sa kanya ang pagyupi sa pipe, at siya naman ang gumanti ng hampas matapos niyang mabawi ang pamalo.

Malakas na p'wersa ang naging dahilan kung bakit tumilapon si Alexis at tumama ang katawan ni Rapper sa isang puno.

Agad nawalan ng malay ang binata pero hindi pa man nakakatayo si Dark ay hindi nito inasahan ang sumunod na nangyari.

Isang malakas na suntok sa mukha ang natanggap nito dahilan para mahirapan itong tumayo.

Nang makahanap ng tiyempo si Ryder ay hindi na ito nag-atubiling sakyan ang binata at walang humpay na pinaulanan ng suntok ang mukha nito. Ilang beses nakatanggap ng mag-asawang suntok si Dark na nakapailalim dito.

Nagkaroon ng maraming hiwa ang mukha ni Dark dahilan para magkasugat-sugat ang mukha nito at walang humpay ang pag-agos ng dugo sa mga sugat sa kanyang labi at ilong.

"Ahhh! Bakit ayaw mong bumalik sa katawan ni Chase!" may ritmo nitong sambit sabay suntok kay Dark.

"Ryder! Tama na!"

A familiar voice was the reason Ryder suddenly stopped punching.

Agad umalis sa pagkaibabaw si Ryder at mabibigat na paghinga ang pinakawalan nito bago itaas ang dalawa niyang kamay at bahagyang lumayo sa p'westo ni Dark na ngayon ay nahihirapan nang tumayo.

"Okay, I surrender!" tugon nito at habol pa rin nito ang kanyang paghinga.

"Dark? Kaninong katawan 'yang sinaniban mo?" tanong nito at ngarag ang boses nito habang nakatingin sa kanilang dalawa.

Dark smiled playfully. "Guess who?" he asked in between his breaths.

Dito na tuluyang nadurog ang puso ni Chase nang mapansin sa kalayuan ang isa pang kamukha nito at sigurado siya na si Rapper ang taong walang malay na 'yon.

Sa gitna ng ma-ambon at malamig na gabi. Ramdam ng bawat isa ang tensyon lalo na't hindi nila alam kung anong sunod na p'wedeng gawin ni Dark sa kanilang tatlo lalo na't desperado ito.

Natatakot na rin si Chase dahil halos maubos na ang mga kaklase niya bago pa siya rumesponde.

Kasunod nito'y napatakip si Chase sa kanyang bibig nang napagtantong malapit sa kanya ang lalakeng sinaniban ni Dark.

"Eleven Raine Angeles..." he smirked and stared at Chase's eyes.

"O mas kilalang Fourteen Ynaz."
