14: Let's be more professional.

Please bail me out.

This one is the thing that I already thought off when I saw the band that I'll be interviewing later. I already made the biography because personally, I know them. But not enough for the things that they need in a explosive article.

I did my research and enough for that. I saw that Elisa is not there in their personal lives and so was I. I think it's a good thing tho. I just need to work professional, then get out.

It was already 9:45 in the morning, I placed Tristan in his stroller, he was still sleeping. Again. I smiled at the view, I need to make it fast or lose the chance.

I entered the car, dropped him in to the passenger seat, gave him seatbelt and flipped the stroller, and then close the passenger seat. I headed in to the driver's seat and drove to the studio.

I entered the studio, I saw Caryl, my workmate, she was the closest girl I've ever been here in the set. She's a newly graduated journalism student and she made friends with me. I love this girl so far.

"Hey Sophiaaaaaa!!!" She screamed as we entered the studio, I looked at Tristan, his mouth slightly opened and stretched his tiny arms up high.

"Oops. Sorry!" She said, I smiled.

"What's it?" I asked while preparing myself from the side, I looked at her. Her eyes was full of excitement, everything about her was so happy.

"You've got to interview Fall Out Boy!" She cheered, I feel like she wanna jump because of excitement.

"Oh yeah..." I trailed off tugging my shirt down to look formal enough and look in to Caryl. Her face was full of disappointment.

"Why? You don't like them?" She asked, I breathe in and out and looked at her.

"Who doesn't want them? I mean, I'm just so excited that I'm trailing off my words." I said, she smiled.

"I think they will get you a video? Just a strip tease for the readers and then you'll be in charge of the whole interview! God bless Sophia! You're going to nail it!” Caryl cheered, I hugged her and thanked her.

“Thank you so much Caryl! Could you please look for Tristan for a while while I'm holding the interview?” I asked her, she smiled and nodded.

“Thank you again! You could watch us over there, I'll tell the directors and staffs so that I could peak Tristan too.” I said, she beamed a big smile and hugged me.

After few minutes of preparations and practicing myself, I finally took the courage to step out. I'll work professionally, not letting my personal life intrude the interview.

Patrick's POV

“LA! Here we go!” Pete yelled as he stepped out of the car, good thing there's no media out there. We felt safe and secured to get out. But when I stare at the studio, I felt something strange all over my body. This sudden nervousness came in my body.

I looked at Joe who was looking at me too, his face was frowning and all. I can't get it though.

“Aren't you guys excited?!” Pete cheered, me and Joe just heaved a sigh. Andy walked out in the car, his face was just the same from the house. The guy was really chill.

I cleared my throat. “Hey guys. You know, we need to make it fast, you know? Time is running.” they nodded and took the step in on the tall newly renovated building.

I dragged my feet in to the room. When I stare at it, I didn't see anything to be nervous about. I mean, I experienced this too before. Maybe there's just twists so I better prepare myself.

In getting in to the dressing room, it was nothing for me to worry about. The facilities and facilitators was so welcoming, and what they're doing is so much heartwarming.

“So, guys are you now okay? The set was now prepared and we need your appearance within two minutes.” The coordinator said, we nodded and drank our bottles of water, stepped out of the room and prepare ourselves for the interview.

At first, I really thought this is no deal because its just an interview. But there's something telling me that I need to prepare myself for the very big deal like I can't sleep when I find out. I just hope that there's no big deal to worry about.

We sat down in the fluffy red couch, there's a single couch for the interviewer but she's still not there. Maybe she's doing something important.

While I was waiting, I was twiddling my thumbs and looking back and forth. I didn't took drugs. It's just I'm so nervous.

“Hi!” A familiar voice crept on my ears, the voice that I haven't for a long time. I tilted my head up, I was about to faint when I saw her. I held on my pants so tight that I don't know what to do. Gosh. Is this real? Is she Tiffany Sophia Blews?

I looked at my other band mates, I saw their faces became so pale, specially to Joe. It looks like he wanna hug her and tell he everything..

I took my courage to look at her again, she flashed a wholeheartedly smile and slumped down her couch.

I was really lost for words.

If she's still alive, maybe Elisa is still. Or if not, she's the key for this unknown mystery.

"Okay, if you guys won't speak up, I'll clear everything first okay?" She said and I saw Pete nodded, it looks like he's challenged by her character.

"So, I would like to introduce myself, I am Tiffany Sophia Blews, I'll be your interviewer for today. I would like to inform you my standards, tho some of my questions was over fencing, I wanted to say that I wanna work professionally with you guys. And thank you for keeping your silence." She said and the director yelled, I smiled. We have to work professionally? How was we supposed to act like that?

Third Person's POV

The whole room resorted in to somewhat silent ever since the film was rolling. Patrick remained silent, doubts and questions invade his mind so he didn't keep his focus in to the interview.

While on the other hand, nervous Sophia was keeping he chill while conducting the interview. Joe smiles unconsciously, he was staring at Sophia's beautiful face.

"So we're here in an interview with Fall Out Boy, the famous pop punk band that came from Chicago, and here's Pete Wentz, Patrick Stump, Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley." Sophia introduce in to the camera. The guys waved at the camera as their response.

“So you guys have been touring for half of your lives. Tell me about the relationships you’ve had with the people you’ve worked with. How would you describe the best ones? The worst?”

"Well, working with the boys is the best feeling that I could ever describe. You know, we tour a lot, and make music together, we highlight the the good times and share good things and bad things at the same time." Patrick said in a professional tone. He was more confident in his answer, wanting to impress the beautiful lady sitting in front of him.

“What was your favorite part of touring?”

"Sleeping in a moving bus and playing in different arenas every night? And also to have interactions with the people that we treasured in a single way. Play for them with the same passion that they have for us." Pete did the same way, Patrick and the others nodded in background.

“Looking back at where you started this journey, where did you think you would end up?”

"Well, if I wasn't in that band, I think I'm in to a journalism department or something? Yeah, I used to work on publishing articles before." -Patrick

“What would you do if you would never reach your goal?”

"Well, my goal is to keep my friends intact with me as long as I could, so I could never ask for more." - Andy

"I will really really feel bad. You know, I lost one thing that I treasured the most and I just can't let it happen again. But I think relaxing will help me too lessen my dealt with pains." - Patrick

"Nothing. It will just happen, deal with it! I think its a drinking solution ya' know?" - Joe

"Write about it. All of people deal with it as they say. I can make myself drown with liquors, but I think its no help. It will make you feel lousy and something you wouldn't expect so you better do to have yourself an outlet." -Pete.

“During the band recordings, Is it better to be perfect and late, or good and on time?”

"Well, we'll go for the perfect and late. Patrick always do that." Pete teased Patrick glared at him.
"But I prefer to be good and in time because it lessens the time to scold someone and make more time recording something."

“Who is the smartest person you know personally? Why?”

"Its probably Patrick and Pete? Yeah. Those two have strong connection when it comes to intelligence. Patrick has intelligence for being a musician, and Pete has the intelligence to be a lyricist." Joe answered.

“What is something you’d be happy doing every day for the rest of your career?”

"Communicate with the people around us who love the music and make them happy." Andy.

“What were some of the unexpected hurdles? What about benefits?”.

"Sure there are misunderstandings, and always giving up easily because we used to know as a emo band. You know, bashers and stuffs. Threats, but then we learned to deal with it. Benefits that we have from that is to learn who we are from that. And tell each other how we treasure them." Patrick.

“What motivated you to keep trying when you hit speed bumps?”

"Music." All of them answered.

During the interview, Tristan and Caryl was starstruck with Patrick and the others. The baby was keep on doing his cooing every time he saw Patrick look at their direction.

On the other side. There was a girl who was wearing a black coat, with a black shades and black stiletto heels.

“How do you feel about that experience now?”

"Well, it went well, we deal with everything that was happening to us. Music is like our common denominator and everyone of us makes sense when it comes to music," - Joe

“What’s your favorite indulgence food to eat when you’ve had a bad day?”

"Chinese foods." - Patrick

"Pizza!" - Pete

"Anything?" - Joe

"Vegan"- Andy

"Your band needs to travel every night in to another cities everyday, how are you coping with it? Are you enjoying it so far?"

"Of course! I cope with it well, except for Patrick's snores." Pete teased, Joe and Andy laughed obnoxiously as Patrick pouted.

"How had you dealt with your bashers and what would you like to tell them?"

"Thank you." Patrick simply said.

"how does it feel every time your fans says that you saved their lives? I mean literally saves them, coz there's one point in their lives that they want to end it, but when they heard your songs, it gives them hope to live?"

"well, its kinda overwhelming, because you know, in the first place, we thought that we only inspire people using our music, then suddenly, some of our fans tell us that we saved their lives, we turned to be their heroes, we didn't want to be a hero, I mean we're just also humans too. so that's why it's much flattering to be so-called-heroes. it's hard to be a hero, you have a lot responsibilities, but in the end, you will feel satisfied because there are people who were inspired by your good deeds. If our songs is their hero, it gives them hope, then it will tell them, that 'it's okay man, we got your back." Patrick.

"Thank you for the short time, I hope you guys enjoyed this interview so far." Sophia informed as she stood up, her heels clicking in the cold white tiles. She immediately stood up and got away, run in to Caryl's direction and get Tristan away from Patrick and the others.

"What's with the rush Soff?" Caryl asked, she shook her head while pushing Tristan's stroller in to her dressing room's direction.

While rushing, she bumped in to the girl, she looked at her and said sorry while Patrick and the others keep on chasing her.

"Such a wonderful sight. Let's chase down each other and I'll start the mayhem." The girl said as she was staring at Patrick and the others, she adjusted her eyeglasses just enough to not see her eyes and discover her personality.
