" Got so much to prove . "

   Yacht clubs. Oyster bars. Swimming in infinity pools. It was all Summer knew. From the moment she could walk, her mother had already put her in tennis lessons, of course in the tennis courts located in her backyard. She was forever grateful for the life her parents had provided her with. How could she be upset with a life where she could max out her father's credit card every single weekend.

Not only that, but she was adored by almost every single student at Greenwood Hills Private School. She was the definition of sunshine in human form. Kindness always seemed to radiate from her. Some girls, didn't exactly like her for that. The battle for popularity was a battle she had won without even fighting. She didn't have to try. Which made the girls who strived to be popular, despise her.

In Summer's mind, she wasn't a popular girl. Yes, almost everyone knew her. But she chose to only surround herself with the people who made her feel like sunshine. And she stuck with that tight-bit group through everything. Through every hardship one of her best friends endured, she was there. Through every tear shed, she was that shoulder. Her best friends were her people. She considered them more of a family than her own blood.

Summer had a great home life. Her parents were successful providing her with everything she would ever need to succeed. Unfortunately her parents seemed to have forgotten to provide her with love and affection. When Summer was actually home, everything seemed motionless. The walls of her house felt as if they were trapping her into a cage. It was always quiet. It was lifeless. It was cold. Almost freezing in a sense. She thrived in warmth. Which is why when the heat of summer would unfold, everything would become so much better. Even her parents seemed to defrost.

Nantucket would defrost. Living on an island, only seemed to have its benefits during these three months. June. July. August. Her favorite months. Her parents would host parties and all of their friends on the island would be invited. Summer would spend majority of her time on the beach with her friends.

Summer was always a happy girl. But she was happiest during the summer. Summertime was when she would have fun. Create memories she would keep with her forever. Summer was when her and her friends would sneak around, go on silly side-quests, get into trouble.

Sometimes too much trouble.

And that is exactly what would happen this summer. But they didn't know exactly how much trouble they would be getting themselves get into.
