Robins pov

"Ok he's right there" I whispered to star "we'll jump him on my count"

"I understand" she nodded.

I held up my fist, waiting for the perfect opportunity. Once I saw it I pointed forward, our universal sign to jump into action.

We jumped down, ready to jump him when he started to split into three people!

"Oh boy" I pulled a batarang out "we should take them out quickly before they can multiply"

"Understood" she flew above them and blasted them.

"Nicely done star" I smiled at the girl as she landed on her feet.

"Agh look behind you" star pointed a shaky finger behind me. I turned around and to my surprise the ink people had multiplied by the thousands!

"Well that's not good" I muttered as I turned to my watch "robin to cyborg. I'm requesting backup at-"

"Gah!" I spun around to see star with a spear in her leg!

"Star!" I knelt down beside her. She was trembling slightly from the shock and pain "easy baby I've got you" I said soothingly as I picked her up. I narrowed my eyes as the ink monsters closed in on us. The fact that they have weapons puts us at a disadvantage. I have no choice, I have to run.

I took off running down the alleyway. The ink monsters were hot on my trail. It's only a matter of time before they catch us. What do I do? How can I protect her-
