The Troll Who Cried Grenda on the 13th Floor

After a long day of work for the working Trolls, everyone thought that it'd be a fun way to unwind if they had a movie night, and after relentless begging from Barb, they agreed to see some spooky horror movies. However, it did come with one condition for the Rock Queen: she had to join Poppy's scrapbooking club once they returned to the Troll Kingdom.

Barb, reluctantly but happily, agreed to it and planned out everything for the night.

At the moment, Barb was getting the sitting area in the lobby set for the movie binge, and her right-hand Troll Riff was helping the Rock queen out with all the preparations. Earlier, Barb had asked Riff to buy some scary movies at the airport, and he picked seven movies from a very scary franchise called the Deadly Plushies.

Barb was walking out of the kitchen, carrying a tray with apple slices smothered in peanut butter, saying while placing the tray on the table in front of the couch in the lobby, "Riff, I think we got all the horror movie snacks that Aggie suggested we could make. Apple Mouths."

"Apple Mouths," Synth, who was sitting on the couch with Stereo, surprisingly dressed up like a colorful parrot for an unknown reason.

"Ghost pretzels," Riff listed while walking out of the kitchen, standing beside the Rock queen, holding a large bowl full of ghost-shaped pretzels and placing it next to the tray of Apple Mouths.

"Ghost pretzels," Synth repeated again, making his voice squeaky like a parrot.

Barb rolled her eyes, saying, "Synth, you don't have to repeat everything we say."

Synth chuckled and flapped his wings, saying, "How will people know I'm a parrot"?

"Why are you even dressed like a parrot, Synth? It isn't Hair-o-ween," Branch pointed out while coming out of the kitchen carrying a large pitcher of punch and placing it next to the bowl of ghost pretzels.

Synth commented, "I lost a push-up bet with Smidge, so, I'm dressing myself up in this costume for the horror movie binge. I don't mind, yo; I love to dress up."

"And my little Synthesizer is the cutest parrot in the whole Troll World," Stereo commented while stroking the top of Synth's costume, saying, "Synthie want a cracker," and offered her lover a cracker.

Synth nodded, saying in his parrot voice, "Synthie want a cracker, brawck," as Stereo fed the cracker to Synth.

Aggie arrived from down the elevator, Trollex walking beside her as they came out together, saying, "Golly, guys! Those snacks looks spooky! But...what's with the empty tray"?

"Huh, we don't have an empty tray," Brb replied while heading back into the kitchen to grab something.

Speaking of eating, Riff was placing a bowl of popcorn next to try of Apple Mouths when he saw that the tray was...gone, replaced by a clean empty tray, making him ask Barb, who came back carrying some cups, placing them by the punch bowl, "Uh, did you eat all the apple mouths"?

"I didn't eat anything," Barb replied, before asking Synth, Stereo, and Branch, "Did any of you guys eat them"?

"Not me," Branch replied while sitting in the easy chair.

"Not us, yo," Synth commented.

"Yeah, none of us have eaten them," Stereo mentioned.

"Well, those mouths didn't eat themselves," Riff commented before he gasped, thinking that they might've, saying, "Or did they"?

"Riff, Apple Mouths don't eat themselves; they're made of apples," Aggie clarified.

Suddenly, there was a loud clattering noise that came from inside the closet in the hallway, making the Trolls turn their heads to see where it came from. the sound had also startled them, making them feel a little frightened.

"What was that, yo," Synth asked while walking over to his brother, flinching a bit in fear from what could possibly have made that noise.

"It better not be a ghost," Riff added, hiding behind Barb as the others came up and joined them.

"Guys, there are no such thing as ghosts," Branch spoke up, not believing ghosts actually existed.

"Yeah? Well, until Aggie had her first vision, there was no such thing as psychics," Stereo pointed out.

"Man, it better not be a ghost," Aggie replied, now feeling a little frightened that maybe it was a ghost that made that sound.

The group slowly approached the closet, tiptoeing, so they could quietly sneak up on who or what was inside.

Synth whimpered in fear, saying, "Oh, Synthie doesn't like this. Synthie doesn't like this"!

Aggie used her plant magic to summon a vine so she could be able to open the door without physically touching it, in case what was inside attacked them. When she got the door opened, some of the Trolls stumbled back, worried that it was something scary inside.

But to their surprise, it was actually Melody who was inside the closet, with an empty tray with bits of peanut butter on it, and she had her stuffed Glitter Gator toy Grenda with her.

"Mel! Did you steal our snack," Barb asked the Pop/Rock Troll.

Melody tried to deny it, saying at first, "It wasn't me," and placed the tray on her lap next to her stuffed toy, adding, "It was Grenda"!

"You really expect us to believe that," Branch asked with an incredulous stare.

"Yeah, yo. Do we look stupid to you," Synth asked while flapping his "wings."

Melody stood up, about to reply, when Barb shook her head and said, "Don't answer that."

"Mel, why'd you really take the Apple Mouths," Aggie asked her best friend.

Melody picked up Grenda while saying, "Sorry, I was feeling really hungry. I had a long day at the salon, and I forgot to eat lunch, so I was famished, and the Apple Mouths looked so tasty, I just took them without thinking."

"Why'd you try to blame it on your toy," Stereo asked curiously.

Barb groaned while saying, "She's been doing this since she was 5; every time something bad happens, or she does something bad or mischievous, she tried to blame it on Grenda, thinking it's alive."

"Grenda is so alive, Barb! She just doesn't speak because she's shy," Melody commented, saying to her stuffed Glitter Gator, "Right, Grenda"?

"Oy vey," Barb commented while facepalming.

"Well, on the plus side, at least it wasn't a ghost; it's way too early to be getting scared," Riff commented.

"Like I said, ghosts don't exist," Branch added, smiling confidently while crossing his arms.

"Actually, ghosts do exist," Aggie commented out of the blue, making the group surprised/confused.

"What do you mean, Aggie," Branch asked curiously.

Aggie explained, "Well, I didn't think I'd ever tell this tale, but...legends say that the 13th floor of this condo...is haunted"!

Barb laughed, impressed, while Riff cringed in fear, asking, "Really"?

"I-I-Is that true, yo," Synth asked, shaking nervously.

Aggie nodded, answering, "Yes. And it's true; I've witnessed it first-hand! Every time I go up there, there's a cold, eerie draft that sends shiver down my spine. and it's been said a bunch of creepy, crazy things are seen up there, including elevators full of blood..."

Stereo and Synth hugged each other out of fear.

"Knife-wielding maniacs..."

Riff shrunk behind the rock Queen, whose eyes widened in awe at each listed item.

"Spooky loops..."

Branch raised an eyebrow, growing more curious with each time listed than suspicious.

"Haunted curtains that can change the lighting.."

Melody hugged Grenda close to her, her knees quaking.

"And worst of all...," Aggie said before adding in a spooky voice and waving her fingers spookily, "Twins"!

"Twins? How can twins be scary, yo," Stereo asked curiously.

"Yeah, yo. Trollex and I are twins, and we ain't scary. Well, unless someone ticks off my bro in the wrong way," Synth mentioned.

Aggie shuddered while saying, "Just heed my warning: the 13th floor is the spookiest place in the entire condo. Best to avoid it, unless you want to suffer its wrath, like I did."

"What happened to you on that floor," Melody asked.

Aggie answered, "One time, I was playing with my ball up there, dribbling it around, and then, while playing with it, the door opened by itself. My ball rolled into the empty room... and it disappeared! Never to be seen again"!

"Woah, that's...cool," Barb exclaimed, saying, "We should check it out"!

Riff looked very uncomfortable, saying, "Uh, maybe later. Like...years later"!

"Riff's right. It's way too scary to be up there; unless you want to experience a curse or something terrifying," Aggie mentioned.

"Yeah, Barb. and besides, we're already doing a horror movie night; we don't need too many scares," Branch pointed out.

Barb sighed, saying, "Alright, fine. But I want to hear more about the 13th floor later."

"I can't wait to see tonight's deadly dolls marathon," Melody commented excitedly.

Val, who was coming out of the elevator and overheard her little cousin's exclamation, then chimed in, saying while walking over to her, "Sorry, Melly. But you know that you can't see any horror movies; the last one you saw gave you nightmares and you couldn't sleep for a week."

"Oh, come on, Val! I was ten when that happened! I'm not a little Troll anymore," Melody argued back, saying to her Glitter Gator, "Right, Grenda? Tell Val that we can watch horror movies."

The toy was silent as Val merely groaned and facepalmed in reply.

Later on, everything was all set for tonight's horror movie binge. The snacks were all set on the table, the TV was tuned and ready to play each movie, and the rest of the leaders, ambassadors, delegates, and associates were all sitting around the couch, chairs, and beanbags. Since Val mentioned to Melody she couldn't watch any of the horror movies because she didn't want her cousin to be too scared, she suggested that Melody could help put Clampers and Tiny to bed later while they were watching the movie marathon.

"Hot dang! Ay ken't wait," Holly commented excitedly while sipping on a plastic cup full of punch.

"This is gonna be a scream fest," Sid said happily while resting back on his beanbag.

While stretching his arms/wings up, Synth stated, "I don't wanna "ruffle any feathers" yo, but according to the clock, it's almost time to start marathoning."

"How's that bird costume treating ya," smidge asked while snickering.

"Great, yo! I feel meh-meh-meh-meh-brawck," Synth replied while mimicking bird noises.

Everyone cheered happily, excited to start the movie marathon, while Barb came forward, carrying a stack of DVDs labeled "Deadly Plushies" and placed them on the table, while Poppy told the Rock queen, "I'm excited. None of us had ever seen any of the Deadly Plushies movies before."

"I hope it won't be too scary," Biggie stated while hugging Mr. Dinkles close to him.

"What's so scary about these movies, anyway," Dante asked curiously, adding, "Aren't they just about plushies"?

Barb looked at Dante with an incredulous look, saying, "Just about plushies"?

She chuckled, patting Dante on the back while adding, "Dante, Dante, Dante. Oh yee of little scaritude knowledge. It is so much more than about dolls. They're about plushies that come to life and terrorize a small town."

"That soulds creepy," Rhythm replied, shuddering a bit.

"And really scary," Blues added, shuddering too.

Barb nodded, saying, "Exactly! What's better than that"?

"Videos of cats that look like their owners," Cooper replied, chuckling, before asking, "Wait, my cat's older than me. Does that mean I look like him"?

"Would that even be possible," Trollzart asked curiously

"Cooper, we don't have a cat," Prince D reminded his twin brother, making Cooper laugh while saying, "Oh yeah! That explains why it sounds so confusing to me now"!

"Yeah, well, suck it up, guys. We have seven movies to get through, and a lot of scares to see! So last call on snacks, drinks, and bathroom breaks. Got it," Barb declared excitedly before placing a DVD into the DVD player and sitting in a beanbag on the floor, anticipating to start the first movie.

"You know, for a fun movie marathon, this is a little intense," Trollex, who was sitting on the couch, with Aggie sitting right next to her boyfriend, commented, earning a mini glare from Barb, who shushed the Techno king, while Trollex stuck his tongue out in reply.

"Easy, you two. Let's not have an argument break out," Essence addressed.

"Let's get this party started," Aggie declared, saying, "Hit it"!

Barb pressed a button on the TV remote that made the movie start to play. At the moment, everyone watched in silence as the beginning scene played, where spooky music played in the background.

Everyone started to grow a little nervous, in fright, as the scene seemed to get scarier, with DJ Suki commenting after gulping in nervousness, "Hey...N-now I see why Anunciacion hid all of Analissa's plush toys after watching this."

Then, the sound of a woman screaming on the Tv, and another sound of something slicing quickly through, followed by a SPLAT, made the Trolls flinch a bit in fright.

Aggie hugged Trollex, who held her close, as he shook a bit in fright.

Biggie covered his face with Mr. Dinkles, who chirped a "Mew," before using his tongue to take his hat off and cover his eyes in fright.

Dante immediately fainted after the slicing sound, while Val leaned forward, towards the TV, watching in excitement.

Guy Diamond was doing his best not to freak out, saying nervously, "Plushies are not evil. Plushies are not evil. Plushies are not evil..."

"Easy, guys. It's just a fictional movie; all of this is just made up. It's nothing to get too scared about," McJagger commented reassuringly, trying to ease everyone's frightfulness.

Suddenly, behind him and Branch, a plush glitter Gator was seen and appeared to "say" in a gentle female voice, "What you watching"?

Branch and McJagger turned their heads and saw the Glitter Gator plushie there and immediately screamed in fright while hugging Poppy and Laguna, respectively, causing everyone to scream in fright with them.

Then, it was revealed that the holder of the Glitter Gator plushie was Melody, who used Grenda to pull a funny prank and was laughing her head off.

"Oh my guh! You almost gave us a heart attack," Smidge exclaimed to the Pop/Rock Troll while trying to catch her breath.

"Mel! You scared us all half to death," Aggie shouted, surprised by the scare prank.

"What the hey was that faw," Delta asked, scolding Melody for scaring everyone like that.

Melody chuckled while saying, "Sorry, guys. But we wanted to pull a little joke on you since you guys were watching scary movies."

"I'm sorry, we? Who's we," Legsley asked before the sound of an air horn blared the room, making everyone shout in fright again, revealing to be Tiny Diamond, who said while holding his airhorns high, "Oh yeah! Tiny Diamond is terrifying"!

Then, Minuet, Laguna, and Biggie saw a scary mask pop out of nowhere and shout, "Boo," causing them to scream in fright, before the Troll wearing the mask pulled it off, revealing to be Clampers, who chuckled, thinking it was funny.

Suddenly, Melody, Tiny, and Clampers heard the TV playing a scene with a sickening CRUNCH sound that surprised the trio.

"Woah, sweet guitar picks," Melody commented, surprised.

"Dang! That there teddy bear just decapitated that mail Troll," Tiny stated while jumping onto Melody's right shoulder, looking at the TV screen in shock.

"With it's lil' taany bowtie," Clampers added while looking at the scene, watching it in disbelief, looking stunned.

Then, the 3 Trolls...smiled and laughed, not at all scared by this, with Melody saying, "That's awesome," and sat down with the little kids to watch the movie with the other Trolls.

Val, seeing this, grabbed the remote and clicked the pause button to pause the movie, making everyone groan a bit in disappointment.

Barb told her Rock ambassador, "Val! Did you not understand the rules I laid out earlier? There's a no-pause clause"!

Val replied, "I know, Barb, but there's a group of somebodys watching, and those somebodys are too young for these movies," while shooting a look at Melody, who rolled her eyes in response.

Low-Note Jones then chimed in, saying, "Val Thundershock, not to be an interrupting Troll, but I think I speak for all of us when I say that that somebody has a name. And it's Low-Note Jones, baby."

Val facepalmed before telling the Funk ambassador, "Not you, Low-Note. I'm talking about Clampers, Tiny, and Melly."

"Awww, can't we just stay and watch a little bit, purple Rock-and-Roll lady? I'm not too young," Tiny asked, giving adorable pleading eyes.

Guy diamond smiled, saying, "Awwww," before addressing, "But sorry, Tiny. I'm afraid you're still a bit too little to handle these kinds of movies. Plus, it's late, and I don't want you to get too tired."

Ting sighed in disappointment, saying, "Ok, daddy."

Clampers was trying to plead with her aunt, saying, "Please? Ay ain't scared ov nothin'! Ay'm tough laake ya, aunt Delta," while flexing her arm.

Delta chuckled before saying, "Y'all's toughness asaade, y'all are still too young ta be seein' them scary movies. Ayn' aren't y'all supposed ta be in bed now"?

Clampers scowled and stomped her hoof, saying, "Dangitty doodily"!

Melody was trying to convince her cousin agan, saying, "Come on, Val, please? I'm not gonna get scared like before! I want to watch"!

Val replied, "Melly, for the last time, no. I don't want Aunt Mal to hear about you getting too scared to sleep if you saw any of these horror movies. Can't you find something fun to do while you're upstairs? I'm sure we have a board game or something lying around."

Melod groaned while saying, "Fine. Come on, Tiny and Clampers, let's get you guys to bed."

While Melody was bringing the little kids back to their rooms, Barb clicked play on the remote, and resumed the movie from where it was paused.

However, while walking to the elevator, Melody held Grenda close while saying to the Glitter Gator toy, just loud enough for the others to hear, "What's that, Grenda You're right. They do have to go to bed sometime," before adding in a spooky tone of voice, "But plushies, they never sleep."

While entering the elevator, Melody let out a playful "Cackle" just as the doors were closing to bring her upstairs.

Some of the Trolls who overheard Melody's statement shuddered a bit in fright while Barb shouted, "Melody, give it up! Nobody is scared of you"!

Low-Note Jones let out a chuckle again, saying, "Val Thundershock, glad you're looking out for us, but uh, the "nobody" you mentioned does have a name. And once again, it's Low-Note Jones, baby."

"Man, Val, your cousin sure is more "energetic" when she's spooky," Satin commented.

"And acting all kooky," Chenille added.

"Eh, don't mind, Melly. She'll wear herself out quickly and be out of our hair for the rest of the night," Val replied while tossing a popcorn kernel into her mouth.

Suddenly, Aggie felt a vision coming through, as her eyes became wide, and her mind became dazed.

In the vision, Melody was standing in a creepy-looking hallway, and saw something that made her scream loudly in fright, shouting, "Help"!

When the vision ended, Aggie snapped back into it, saying, "Guys"!

Everyone looked at Aggie while Trollex asked, "What's wrong, Aggie? Is everything ok"?

Barb paused the movie again while Aggie said, "I just had a vision! Melody was in...the 13th floor! And she saw something; she must've seen one of the ghosts there because she looked really scared"!

"Aggie, ghosts don't exist; ever' Troll knows that," Buckaroo stated with a chuckle.

Aggie replied, "There are, and in fact, one of the ghosts up ther even has their own room. Long ago, there was an MMT named Irena, who was gorgeous and rich, but she was grey since she never chose her Music in Life. I've heard that one day, she and her husband had checked into the room up there during their honeymoon, and the next day, he left to go find the Troll Kingdom, leaving his wife there waiting for 3 years, but he never came back."

"What happened to him," Stereo asked fearfully.

"Did he die? Did something, or someone, kill him," Demo asked hesitantly.

Aggie replied, "Nope, he just fell in love with a Magic Reggaeton Troll, and they both opened up a burrito restaurant in Mixico. But Irena found out and got so angry, she threw a silver hairbrush he had given her at a mirror, breaking it. One of the shards hit her, and as you can guys, well...that's why she's now a ghost, or as we call her, the Troll in White."

"What if Melody saw Irena's ghost," Biggie asked nervously.

"We got to save huurr," Holly exclaimed loudly.

"Hold on, guys," Val announced, saying, "Look, Melly can be a little nuts at times, aren't all teenagers? But I doubt she'd do something like go up to the 13th floor, been after hearing about all the crazy things that are up there. She's a responsible, mature Troll who can make rational decisions. I mean, you'd need to be completely reckless to do something like that, and that's the spirit of us Rock Trolls: going reckless things without think-," before she realized something, shouting, "Oh my Troll, she's gonna go up there"!

"What if she runs into the knife-wielding maniac," Riff asked fearfully.

"Or the elevator douses her in blood," Stereo panicked worryingly.

"Or she sees twins," Synth mentioned, saying "Twins" in a spooky tone of voice.

"Uh, how are twins scary," Blues asked curiously.

"We have 4 sets of twins here," Rhythm mentioned.

"That's what I said, yo," Synth replied.

"Guys, calm down. Maybe we're panicking for no reason. It sounds highly unlikely any of that stuff could really be on the 13th floor; besides, a lot of sounds like simple spooky superstition, so we shouldn't worry too much about it," Quincy addressed.

"Besaades, if any ov this here stuff is true, where's the proof faw it," Buckaroo addressed

Aggie then stated, "You'll find all the scary proof up there if you head up and take a look"!

"We're gonna have to go up there if we're gonna find MElody before Aggie's vision comes true," Guy Diamond proclaimed.

"But what about our movie marathon? We're just getting to the good part," Barb complained a bit while pointing to the TV.

Poppy reassured the Rock Queen, saying, "Don't worry, Barb. If anything, maybe we should spit up; half of us can say here and keep watch in case Melody comes downstairs, while the other half goes up to the 13th floor to investigate."

"Good plan there, Poppy," Gust replied while tipping his hat, saying, "That way, we ken covuurr mawe ground ayn' have sets ov eyes ever'where."

Aggie felt a bit uncomfortable, mainly because she was really terrified to go up to the 13th floor. It was the scariest floor in the entire condo, and anything could happen up there; what if something scary happened to her friends?!

But she knew that the safety of her best friend was on the line, so, she took a deep breath and said, "Alright, let's do this. I'll lead the group heading upstairs to the 13th floor. Who is coming up with me"?

"I'm right with you all the way, Aggie," Trollex commented while giving Aggie a kiss on the cheek, holding his girlfriend's hand reassuringly. He added, "I'm scared too, but it'll be a lot better to be scared together."

Aggie smiled, blushing while replying, "Thanks, Trollex."

"Me too! I'll join you guys," Beat added while peeking out of Trollex's hair.

Synth then came forward, saying, "Anywhere my bro and future sis-in-law goes, I go too"!

"And anywhere my Synthesizer goes, I go too too," Stereo added cheerfully.

"Note: I volunteer on this spooky mission," Laguna commented while raising her hand.

"Count me in too. If Melody gets hurt, I'm at the ready with my first-aid kit," McJagger declared.

"Count us in too," R&B commented in unison.

"Me three," Prince D added.

"Me seventh," Cooper declared with a chuckle.

Dante recovered from fainting, saying, "I will come along too"!

"For my cousin, I'd walk through lava and back, so you bet I'm in," Val addressed while standing up.

"Me too! I can help manage anything that comes our way," Demo announced.

Barb looked at the TV remote before she gave it to Poppy while saying, "Me too. Plus, it'll give me a chance to see the cool creepy stuff up there"!

"Uh...I-I'll..go too. Anywhere Barb goes, I come with to help as her right-hand Troll," Riff added nervously.

"We want in too," a pair of voices chimed in, making the Trolls turn their heads and see Tiny and Clampers standing by the elevator.

Tiny exclaimed, "We couldn't sleep, and snuck down to watch the movie, and heard the problem."

"We want ta help out too," Clampers added.

"In that case, I'll come with you guys too, mainly to make sure that my little boy stays safe," Guy Diamond said while letting Tiny run up to him and go into his father's hair.

"Ay'll go too, ayn' ay ken look aftuurr Clampers faw ya, Delta, whaale we're up there. Plus, that there 13th floor's ayy real mystery, ayn' ay love mysteries," Buckaroo volunteered.

"I'll come along too. I love spooky instances," Sid excitedly exclaimed.

"I'm coming too," Smidge stated.

"Uh, I'm nervous about it, but I will be coming too," Biggie addressed.

"And I'll tag along too, just to help make sure we all stay safe," Branch mentioned.

"And the rest of us will stay here and keep an eye out for if Melody comes downstairs," Trollzart instructed.

"Keep your phones handy in case you need to call us or we have to call you guys," Essence mentioned.

With that, Aggie led everyone down the hall so they could head over to the elevators.

Up on the floor where her and Val's room was, Melody was standing by the elevator and got an idea, saying to her Glitter Gator toy, "What's that, Grenda? We should go up to the 13th floor and see what we can find up there"?

Smiling with excitement, Melody replied, "Okay," and pressed the button, making the elevator open so she could ride it upstairs.

In 30 seconds, Melody soon arrived to the 13th floor, and it was SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKY! The hallway was dark and poorly illuminated, there was dust and cobwebs on furniture, corners in the hallway, door ridges, the curtains looked so old and torn, and there was a very ominous vibe about it.

Melody shuddered in fright, saying, "Wow. Sure is scary up here. No wonder why Aggie said it's haunted, just being up here is giving me the chills."

She hugged Grenda tight while saying, "Come on, Grenda. Let's explore."

With that, the Pop/Rock Troll began to walk down the hallway, looking for anything interesting to explore. She soon saw an abandoned room numbered 1307, where the door seemed to open by itself, making her jump back while saying, "Woah! that's creepy...but cool"!

Wandering into the room, Melody took a chance to look around, see the surroundings, and noticed that way in the corner was a rusty old trunk.

Grinning in excitement, she told the Glitter Gator toy, "Ooh! Maybe there's something cool in here"!

She opened the trunk and fished through the items inside to see what looked interesting. The first thing she pulled out was a dress, making Melody stick her tongue out and say while tossing it behind her, "Nope."

She then pulled out an old family portrait of what looked like an elderly couple, but their faces were cut out of the picture, making Melody shudder and say while tossing the picture behind her, "Oh, fireballs."

Then, Melody saw something that caught her eye: an old dusty dark blue book with the words "Magic Spells" on it in gold letters. Melody examined it, saying, "A magic spell book"?

Intrigued, she opened the spellbook to read it and found a spell that got her excited, exclaiming, "Whoa! A spell that brings plushies to life"?

She looked at the toy glitter Gator and told it, "Of course, we're gonna try it, Grenda! But if this goes bad, it was your idea. But...how am I gonna try it now is the real question."

And that question got answered in only a few minutes when the Pop/Rock Troll had gotten a small cauldron set up over a burner plate, and there was some clear liquid bubbling inside of it, while Grenda was lying on a small box set up next to her. Melody was stirring it with a spoon before she looked at it, saying, "And for the final ingredient..."

Melody took the black bandanna that was tied on the toy's leg, commenting to it, "Relax; I'll get you another one," before adding nervously under her breath, "If this works."

After adding the bandanna into the mix, Melody began to read the spell book, saying, "Bubble and boil, oh magic stew. Bring my plushie to life anew"!

Melody waited for the spell to react, but...nothing came out of it, making her confused while saying, "Huh. I can't believe a magic spell book I found in an old trunk I've never seen before didn't work."

Suddenly, to her surprise, the cauldron began to poof a large mist, making Melody cough and squint her eyes, finding it hard to see. The mist covered almost the entire room, especially her toy Grenda.

Then, while Melody coughed, she heard the sound of a foreign voice coughing with her, making Melody freeze in fright and look around to see where it was coming from. To her huge surprise, when Melody turned around while the mist died down, she gasped, seeing that siting on the floor, right beside the boxes where Grenda was laid out earlier...was a female Normal Glitter Troll! And no ordinary Troll: it appeared that this Troll was Grenda! Brought to life!

She had red glittery skin, hot pink hair that looked frizzy and went all the way down to her lower back, lavender eyes, rosy cheeks, a light blue nose, and she appeared to be wearing a long dark pink dress with a diagonally cut hem by her knees, and a short V-cut neckline, a white leather belt with a silver sparkly layer, a blue screened decoration over the top, with a very fine number of silver tassels, light pink stockings, dark pink high heel shoes with a pump heel, a silver bracelet on her left wrist with a pink stone on it, and on her ears were a pair of shimmering crimson star earrings. She also appeared to have some pink makeup around her eyes, and the black bandanna that was taken off earlier was now seen tied around her left knee.

Melody couldn't believe what she was seeing, as she commented, in shock, "Grenda? Is that really you"?

"In the flesh, boo," Grenda, now a Troll, replied happily.

(BTW, Grenda, in this Troll form, is voiced by Samantha Newark, whom some of you might recognize as the voice of someone truly outrageous!)

Melody immediately ran up to her and helped Grenda adjust to standing on her feet, as Grenda was shocked, struggling a bit to get her footing.

"Over here, over here," Melody ushered Grenda over to the bathroom of room 1305, where Grenda got a better look of her now Troll-life facial features.

Melody, on the other hand, was taking all of this in, saying excitedly, "I can't believe you're actually real"!

Grenda grinned, commenting, "Check it out! I can move my arms and my legs," while shaking her arms and legs together.

Then, humorously, Grenda let out a loud burp, making her giggle and comment, "I just burped! I've been waiting years to do that."

Suddenly, the bathtub switch, which turned on the shower, made it expel warm water and make the bathroom steamy...all on its own!

Both Trolls saw this happening, as Melody asked Grenda, "Uh, did you do this"?

"Nope, sister," Grenda replied nervously.

Then, both Trolls turned their head and saw that the condensation was building up on the mirror, and the mirror had a message written on it, saying, "LEAVE"!

"Uh, was that you who wrote that," Grenda asked nervously.

"Nope," Melody squeaked out in fear, causing both girls to scream together while hugging one another frightfully.

Grenda, seeing that she was hugging, temporarily forgot that she was afraid and said with a happy smile, "I can give an actual hug now"!

Melody then reminded her, "Great, but let's continue this outside, where we aren't being haunted by this crazy bathroom"!

Both girls shouted in fright while running out of the bathroom and back towards the door of the room they were currently in.

Both girls took a minute to catch their breaths, while Grenda commented, "Wow, who knew how good it'd feel to actually breathe in oxygen"?

"Air is the treasure of life," Melody replied, chuckling while catching her breath.

"And you know what else I want to do now that I'm a walking, talking Troll just like you," Grenda asked excitedly.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking," Melody asked the Glitter Troll while pulling out her electric guitar.

"You just read my mind, girl," Grenda happily answered as she summoned a black bass axe from mid-air and began to strum a Hard Rock tune on it, with Melody following the same tune on her electric guitar as the pair began to sing and dance together.

After they both had finished singing, they placed their guitars away, Melody asked Grenda, "So, now that you're here, what do you want to do next"?

Grenda thought about it before saying, "I know! Let's see how many cupcakes a la splode we can toss up and make explode into our mouths in the hallway"!

Melody loved that idea, saying, "I wish, but I can't do that without Val. She says I can't ignite the sparks on the cupcakes a la splode alone."

Grenda then pointed out, "You won't be alone if we do it together."

Hearing this, Melody grinned while saying, "Now, that it is what I call a loophole," as the pair went out to the hallway to partake in their game together.

Meanwhile, Aggie and the group of Normal Trolls who volunteered to come with her up onto the 13th floor had arrived onto the floor via elevator, and exited out of the hallway one by one, until everyone was outside the elevator together.

"Ooh," the Trolls all said in curiosity/hesitancy.

"Sure is spooky up here," Biggie commented worryingly, especially when he saw one of the cobwebs glowing under the light from outside.

"I'm getting a chill down my spine, man," Prince D shuddered.

Dante saw a shadow on the ceiling, which the shadow was his own, but got startled by it, shouting while hiding behind Buckaroo, who rolled their eyes, saying, "Troll Louise."

"Woah! It is insanely creepy cool up here! Like a scene pulled out of a horror movie," Barb added, before saying, "Which reminds me," and started to turn around to head back downstairs.

But Val stopped the Rock Queen by grabbing her waist with her pigtails, telling her, "Barb! Remember why we're here."

"Ugh, ok, ok," Barb replied, groaning in disappointment.

"How are we gonna find Melody in a place like this, yo," Synth asked while looking under a dusty table.

"We should split up," McJagger suggested, adding, "We can cover more ground that way."

"No way, McJ! Rule number 1 in horror movies: it's always a bad idea to split up! Ghosts will catch us easier that way and pick us off one by one! And if the ghosts don't get their hands on us first, the knife-wielding maniac or the scary twins will," Aggie exclaimed in fright.

"Yeah, but if we split up, we'll have a 75% percent chance to find Melody a lot faster than if we look as a single group," Rhythm mentioned.

"R's right. splitting up right be our only option," Blues added.

Aggie knew that her friends were making a good point, saying, "You're right. In that case, let's divide ourselves into different teams. Trollex, Beat, and I will look in this room," while pointing to a random room labeled 1301.

"Dante, Laguna, and I will examine the hallways and some of the other rooms here," McJagger suggested, with Laguna and Dante stadnign by him.

"Barb, Biggie, Smidge and I will look in the bedroom of that 1301 room with you guys," Val suggested, with Aggie nodding in agreement.

"I'm gonna examine room 1305, the room where the ghost of Irena is said to be," Cooper declared, chuckling in delight, adding, "I'm terrified"!

"Don't worry, Cooper, we got your back," Prince D reassured his brother, with Synth, Stereo, R&B, and Branch nodding in agreement.

"We'll look down the hallway ayn' check out room 1313," Buckaroo mentioned, with Clampers, Guy Diamond and his son, Sid, Demo, and Riff showing that they were gonna join with them.

"Got it. Let's meet up back here by room 1301 afterwards in case no one finds anything," Trollex stated, as they all split into their separate groups and started to explore the 13th floor.

In the hallway, Demo, Clampers, Buckaroo, Riff, Guy Diamond, and Tiny Diamond were slowly looking around.

Guy Diamond saw the shadows on the wall and gulped in nervousness, letting out a nervous toot.

The sound of Guy's nervous toot made Demo shout in fright and curl up into a ball, causing Riff to shout alongside him.

"Knock it off, you two. You're being a bunch of scaredy Kitty Critters," Sid commented.

Soon, the group had arrived to the door that led to room 1313, with Clampers saying, "Ooh! This must be the place"!

Buckaroo trotted towards the door and examined it, saying, "Looks laake it's ayy bit rusty, but seems sturdy."

They proceeded to knock on the door, saying, "Hello? an' Troll in there"?

"Why are you knocking? It doesn't look like anyone would be living up here in these creepy corners," Demo commented fearfully.

"Y'all nevuurr know. That's the beauty ov examinashuns; y'all get ta look ayn' see what y'all ken faand," Buckaroo replied back.

"Though, it doesn't seem like anyone's gonna ans-," Sid started to say, before, to their surprise, the door swung open.

In front of them, there was a pair of MMTs that stared deeply at the group of Normal Trolls. both were females, one of them being a Magic Techno Troll while the other one was a Magic Rock Troll. Both of them were wearing the same purple clothes with pink ribbon tied around their waists, they both had yellow hair, and matching pink eyes.

"Twins," riff exclaimed fearfully, hiding behind Demo.

Demo shuddered tried to push Riff forward, saying, "You speak to them"!

"No, you," Riff argued while trying to push Demo forward.

"No, you first"!

"You, man"!

"Knock it off! Both ov ya," Clampers scolded both boys, who calmed down.

"Dang, daddy! They look creepy," Tiny Diamond commented while peeking his head out to see them.

"Should someone say something to them," Sid asked curiously, starting to feel a little weirded out by seeing the twins staring at them.

Buckaroo was the first Troll to courageously say something, asking the twins, "Uh...hey there"?

"Come play with us," the twin MMTs said in a monotonous voice, holding hands together.

The group shuddered a bit in fright, with Sid saying, "Ok, I'm calling it; this is creepy, and I've seen a lot of creepy things in my life."

"Guys? A word," Demo asked, ushering everyone to step to the side so they could talk quietly.

Stepping to the side, Demo whispered in a panicked voice, "These must be the spooky twins Aggie mentioned earlier! And they're even spookier in person"!

"Yeah, y'all. ay'm getting shudders just by starin' at 'em," Clampers commente,d hugging Bucksroo's left leg in fear.

"Maybe we're just imagining things," Guy Diamond replied in nervous optimism, but any bravery he had left faded away when he saw something that made him scream in fright.

That made the group turn around and see the twins, who were now standing in the hallway, staring at them again, saying in unison, "Come play with us. Forever and ever."

Everyone screamed in fright, with Riff shouting, "Run for it"!

The group ran for their lives down the hallway, turning a corner to go a different direction, but were shocked to see the twins staring them down in the other end of the hallway.

"They're everywhere, daddy," Tiny shouted fearfully.

"Run for your lives," Sid shouted as the group ran for their lives down the other direction.

Back in room 1301, Val's group and Aggie's group were looking around the condo room, trying to see what they could find.

Beat picked his tiny body out of a small pot in the kitchen, saying, "It looks all clear in here. Just some dirt, dust, spider webs, and darkness."

Trollex picked Beat up from inside the pot, holding him close while saying, "We're still looking around, but so far, it just seems like this room is all clear."

"Careful, you never know with ghosts. They could be hiding, and we couldn't tell until they come to scare the pants off of us," Aggie pointed out.

Trollex patted Aggie on the back, reassuring her while saying, "Don't worry. If there really are any ghosts here, I'll protect you. no ghost will stop me from being with the love of my life. If anything, I'll scare them into going back where they came from."

Aggie blushed, giggling while saying as she kissed Trollex on the lips, "Awww, aren't you such a brave ghostbuster"?

"Wow! This room is so cool," Val's voice exclaimed throughout the condo, making the trio walk over to where Val's group was.

Val, Barb, Smidge, and Biggie were looking inside an old bedroom. Barb was peeking her head under a bed, Smidge was looking through some of the old drawers, and Biggie was examining the curtains.

"This room is so cool! So big, so roomy! It's just like our bedroom back at Rock Hollow! I bet it'd look even bigger without Melly in it," val commented.

Mentioning her cousin's name, Val suddenly felt a little worried, saying, "I hope she's ok, wherever she is."

"Hey, you've got a tough, kind cookie for a cousin; if anyone can handle thing sby herself, it's Mel," Barb told her ambassador, trying to help her feel better.

Suddenly, there was the sound of a low, deep, creepy rumbling that came from the closet that Biggie was looking at, and the sound startled him greatly. He trembled, asking Smidge, who was looking at the dressers behind him, "S-S-smidge, are you making that sound"?

Smidge peeked her head out of one of the drawers, saying, "No, not me."

Biggie gulped nervously, asking the others, "A-Are any of you guys making that growling sound"?

The sound of the growling in the closet happened again, making Barb say, "Ok, that is super weird."

"M-M-Maybe we should talk about it more out of this room," Beat fearfully suggested.

"Great idea, Beat! Let's get out of here," Aggie proclaimed as everyone nervously ran out of the condo room.

Back in the hallway, Dante, McJagger, and Laguna were walking down the area passed some of the rooms.

"These hallway walls are giving me the heebie-jeebies," Dante commented worryingly, seeing the dark shadows on the wall.

"Don't worry, Dante. It's just light reflecting on some of the furniture around here making these shadows; it's perfectly normal," McJagger commented optimistically.

"How on earth can you be so calm about this? Are you not terrified," Dante asked McJagger curiously.

McJagger shrugged, answering with, "I don't get scared so easily. When you're a first-responder, you see many scarier things than just shadows and scary noises, so it's easier to be brave."

"I sure wish I feel as brave as you are, McJagger. I can't help but feel so nervous being around here," Laguna admitted, looking around the hallway nervously, her body trembling a bit.

McJagger held Laguna close to him to help her relax, telling her calmly, "It's ok, boo. I'm here to keep you safe. No one's gonna try anything sneaky while I'm around."

Dante suddenly saw something that made his eyes widen in fear, and stammered nervously, "Uh, M-M-M-McJagger-,"

"I'll always be right her to look out for you, boo. And all of our friends. It's my sworn duty to protect those in need," McJagger told Laguna, making her smile and blush.

"M-M-McJagger," Dante stammered, a little louder this time.

"If there really are any ghosts or other scary things up here, I'll face them head on to make sure we all stay safe," McJagger commented to Laguna.

"Mickey Cole Jagger," Dante exclaimed loudly, his fear now sky-high and plastered on his face.

That exclamation was just the ticket to make the red Funk Troll and his girlfriend turn their heads to face Dante, with McJagger now blushing in embarrassment that Dante had called him by his full name.

"Wait, your first name's Mickey? And your middle name's Cole," Laguna asked McJagger curiously, earning her a nod from McJagger, who had a sheepish smile while he nodded.

He then snapped out of it, saying, "Aside from that, what's wrong, Dante"?

"Behind you," the Classical ambassador screamed before fainting, falling onto the floor.

Laguna and McJagger ran over and helped pick up the fainted Classical Troll, with Laguna asking, "What made Dante faint like that"?

McJagger and Laguna turned their head to look and gasped when they saw that on the wall towards them, there was the shadow of a very terrifying shadow of a knife-wielding maniac Troll staring down at them.

"AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH," the couple screamed in fright.

"Quick! Get Dante onto my back and let's get out of here," McJagger shouted worryingly.

Laguna helped pick up Dante and place his fainted body onto McJagger's back as they ran away from the shadow, running for their lives.

While running, the couple ended up running into Cooper and Prince D's group, who had came out of room 1305 and were running away in terror. This resulted in McJagger colliding into Cooper and Prince d by accident, causing the boys to tumble to the ground, while Dante's fainted boy was tossed up and caught in R&B's arms, and Laguna bumped into stereo, who fell back and got caught in Synth's parrot wings.

"Yo! what happened to you three? Did you see the ghost of Irena too," Stereo asked, seeing how scared Laguna, McJagger, and Dante, who started to wake up, looked.

"No, but we saw something just as terrifying! A knife-wielding maniac," Dante exclaimed.

"There's actually a Troll with a knife here? Screw this; let's get out of here," Cooper shouted in terror, as the group started to run back towards the others screaming in fright.

"Note: ghosts really do exist here," Laguan exclaimed fearfully while they ran.

Back in front of 1301, everyone regrouped, talking rapidly about the scary instances that they had experienced so far. But what no one knew was that while they had seen all the scary things that had happened so far, Grenda, who had taken a break to stretch her new legs, was watching from being one of the hallway alls, and saw Aggie and the Normal Trolls standing there, before she turned and left.

A little while later, Melody and Grenda returned to the room that Grenda was brought to life in earlier, with {Melody telling Grenda, "I'm so glad you talked me into getting to do that cupcake la splode game with you! That was so much fun"!

Grenda commented in response, "I'm not sure I get cupcakes. Tastes a little more...papery than I thought," before showing that she was chewing on a cupcake a la splode, and had also bitten into the wrapper, taking it out of her mouth and dropping it in disgust.

Melody, seeing this, stated while scratching the back of her neck, "That's because you're eating them with the wrapper on."

Grenda realized her mistake and commented before putting the cupcake back in her hair, "Mm. Still tastes better than air tea; you can drink it in many ways as possible, but it's still bland."

Suddenly, Grenda got another great idea, saying, "Oh! I know what we should do next. We should prank your cousin, Val. I saw that she and some of your other friends were up here in the hallways with us, and it's the perfect chance to pull another funny joke together"!

Melody couldn't help but be a little confused by the idea, saying, "I'm having fun hanging out with you, Grenda, so we don't need to prank Val."

However, Grenda seemed very persistent in pranking the Hard Rock ambassador, retorting, "Yes, we do! She tried to prevent you from doing something fun with the others. We have to get back at her."

Trying to convince her more, Grebda added, "What better way to show her that you can handle the scary stuff than with a simple scary prank? If she sees how you were able to handle it so well, she's bound to see how wrong she was to think you'd get scared by it. Plus, a little scare can teach her some humility."

Melody gave it some thought before saying, "Guess that's true."

"Not just true, it's truly outrageous," Grenda mentioned, winking at Melody.

That seemed enough to convince her, as Melody then answered, "Well, I guess we could...make Val think there's a ghost in this hallway"?

"And then dump a bucket of worms on her and force her to eat them," Grenda added excitedly.

Melody commented, not wanting to make it too extreme, "I was thinking we just mimic the shadows of one of the ghosts Aggie told us about and maybe sport some similar apparel of it, just to give her a small fright."

That seemed perfectly ok with Grenda, who said, "Works for me."

Grenda then added with a shy giggle, "I bet Val's even cuter when he's scared."

Melody was very startled by this and replied, feeling a little weirded out, "Ew, gross! Grenda"!

"What? She's not my cousin," Grenda replied with a shrug.

"Ok, moving from that, I'm thinking maybe we should keep it simple: we could do the twins thing. We dress alike and then we just act the same and speak the same so they think we're the mysterious scary twins Aggie mentioned," Melody suggested, adding, "Although we're gonna have to sneak downstairs to get something from Satin and Chenille's closet as our costumes."

Grenda then suggested, "Or, maybe we can use this," and pointed at the trunk again, where the lid opened up mysteriously and showed a bunch of new costumes that weren't in there before when Melody opened it first.

Melody was surprised, commenting, "Woah! How did you-,"

"A little trick. Now, let's get dressed up," Grenda commented as the pair began to dig through the trunk.

Melody started to sing some backup vocals while looking through the trunk.

While looking, she saw Grenda pick up a closed rainbow-colored parasol and begin to dance with it like it was a cane.

Grenda: I can be whoever I want to; anyone at all!

Grenda strutted the floor with the parasol before opening it and spinning it around while hiding behind it playfully.

Grenda: I can strut when I wanna strut or hide behind a parasol!

When Grenda lowered the parasol, her outfit had changed mysteriously, as she was now wearing a sparkly black tuxedo jacket over her dress, a red tie tied around her neck, black pants, shiny black dancing shoes, and on her head was a black top hat with a red stripe on it.

Grenda: It all depends on the mood I'm wearin'!

Melody was impressed as she pulled out a purple feathery boa and wrapped it around her neck while dropping her signature shades over her eyes, and sang behind Grenda.

Grenda: It all depends on the mood I'm in (Melody: Mood I'm in)!

Grenda then snapped her fingers and changed her outfit mysteriously again, now wearing cute purple sleeveless dress with a pink tutu-like skirt, purple longing, dark purple high heels, and a dark pink bow in her hair.

Grenda: I can be beautiful or!

Both: Truly outrageous!

Grenda: It all depends on the mood I'm in!

Melody started to sing the backup vocals again while fishing through the trunk for a fun outfit to match the fun-ness of Grenda's outfit.

Melody: Ooh, ooh, mood I'm in! Ooh, ooh, mood I'm in!

She wound up taking off her leather jacket and placed on an explorer's jacket and had a brown fedora on her head, and she even had a satchel worn around her shoulders, looking like a brave explorer, even pretending to see out in the distance.

Grenda: Off I go in search of adventure (Melody: Ooh, ooh, mood I'm in!) Anytime I choose (Melody: Ooh, ooh, mood I'm in!)!

Grenda spun around before clicking her heels, which magically changed into a pair of beautiful blue suede shoes.

Grenda: I wear heels if that's how it feels (Melody: Ooh, ooh, mood I'm in!) Or else I wear my blue suede shoes!

It all depends on the mood I'm wearin'!

She spun Melody around, as the pair danced in a circle.

Grenda: It all depends on the mood I'm in (Melody: Mood I'm in!)!

Grenda then clapped her hands together, and was back in her original outfit again.

Grenda: I can be beautiful or!

Both: Truly outrageous!

She then walked over to the trunk and found the perfect outfit that she and Melody could twin with, and showed it to Melody, who smiled and nodded in reply, giving a thumbs up for approval.

Grenda: It all depends on the mood I'm in (Melody: Ooh, ooh, mood I'm in!)!

A few minutes later, both Trolls were dressed up in identical clothing: both were wearing a light blue dress with white long sleeves, white stocking, and brown dress shoes. At the moment, Grenda was adjusting a pink wig Melody was wearing so it'd look so similar to her hair. Once it seemed perfectly in place, Grenda stepped back and smiled, saying, "Perfect! You look so fabulous"!

"You think so? I don't know about the pink hair," Melody commented while flicking the ends of the wing she had on gently.

"It suits you well, Mel. Now, let's get spooking," Grenda replied, as the pair started to walk towards where the other Trolls were.

Back with Aggie and the other Normal Trolls, Aggie was saying, "I told you, guys it was scary up here"!

"No kidding, yo! We heard the ghost of Irena, and it was super scary," Synth commented.

"We saw the knife-wielding maniac's shadow, and it was this close to slicing our necks off," McJagger stated while feeling Laguna hug his side.

"We heard growling coming from the closet inside the room we looked in," Smidge added, saying, "Oh my guh, it scared us bad"!

"We saw the scary twins," Riff stated, saying "Twins" in a scary voice, before he saw something that made him gasp and shout, "Like them"!

The group turned their heads and saw a pair of Trolls standing there (Melody and Grenda), and they both said in unsion, "Come play with us. We want to play with you forever and ever."

Everyone screamed in fright, with Aggie shouting, "Scary twins"!

"Absofunkalutely terrifying," R&B cried out while hugging one another in fear.

"Quick, hide in room 1301," Trollex shouted, as everyone started to run towards room 1301 to go hide inside.

However, Grends started to act out a bit, using her hair to grab Val by her ankle and drag her back towards her and Melody. Val screamed in fright as she tried to untie her ankle and free herself before the "twins" could hurt her.

When Val saw the "Troll" pull out her guitar, set to smash it onto Val, Val gasped in fear, and struggled greatly, soon freeing her ankle and running for her life, heading to room 1301 to hide with the rest of Melody's friends.

Melody couldn't believe what she saw: Grenda had changed up the prank without telling her! And she scared Val really bad; she hadn't seen Val so terrified since back when Trollstopia first started and she saw her close to falling off a cliff.

Wanting answers, Melody pulled Grenda away and asked her, "Why'd you change the prank? We were just supposed to scare Val."

Grenda chuckled, saying, "Yeah, in retrospect, I didn't think it was my jam. So, I used what I learned from watching you as a toy to make her think we were gonna come after her"!

Melody, feeling bad about how terrified Val looked when Grenda scared her, retorted, "Now, she's too scared to even come out of the room she's hiding in! And I feel really guilty about it"!

Grenda tried to calm Melody down, telling her, "Chill out, Mel. You blame stuff on me all the time, and have you felt guilty about that"?

"But that was just for small things, not big things like this. If Val ever found out about what really happened, she'd be mad at me for real," Melody argued back.

She sighed, telling Grenda, "Look, it's been fun, but it's time for you to go back to being a plush toy again."

Grenda gave it some thought before replying with, "Mm... Hard pass. I'm going to do what I do best," and started to walk away.

Melody tried to stop Grenda, saying, "You're just causing trouble."

"That's what I do best," Grenda replied before laughing as she pushed Melody into an empty room and locked her in before walking away. Melody saw that Grenda had locked her in and tried to unlock the door, but couldn't, resulting in her banging on the door.

Back in room 1301, Buckaroo and Barb had worked together to push a dresser onto the door to barricade themselves in the room so no ghosts or haunting figures could come in to capture them.

"There, that should keep us safe in here," Barb commented while making sure the dresser was sturdy.

"Great; now, we're being hunted by ghosts, knife-wielding maniacs, and spooky twins! How much crazier can this day get," Dante exclaimed.

"I know! It way too early in the year to even be doing these kinds of scares," Prince D mentioned.

Sid then spoke up, holding a book while saying, "Don't worry, guys. I know the secret to surviving any horror scene."

"Really," Rhythm asked while raising an eyebrow.

"What is it," Blues asked.

"Be the ghost. Or hunter. Or killer. either way, you be like them, they can't scare you so easily," Sid replied while showing everyone a page in the book he was reading.

While everyone was looking at the page in the book, no one saw Grenda mysteriously watch them from behind, smiling sinisterly, wanting to do another jump scare.

"This is ridiculous. How do they not see the ghost," Branch asked while pointing at the page.

"She's right behind you," Guy diamond exclaimed, looking at the page.

No one noticed Grenda getting closer and closer to them step by step.

"Look behannd ya," clamopers shouted at the book, with everyone reading carefully.

"Turn around," Cooper shouted at the book, while Grenda ran off, planning out her next move.

Suddenly, the door was busted open, and the dresser got knocked down, showing Melody, who was dressed back in her normal attire, saying while running in, "Guys! I need your help"!

Everyone screamed in fright and braved for whatever was gonna happen, until they saw who it was, and gasped, saying, "Melody"?!

Val saw Melody standing there and shouted while running up to her, "Melly! You almost gave us another heart attack," before hugging her, asking, "Are you ok"/

Yes, I'm fine, Val."

Val smiled, saying, "Good," before she punched Melody in the arm, saying, "What the heck, Melly?! We've been so worried about you! Have you been behind these scares today? 'Cause I swear, if you are, I will literally bonk you with my guitar"!

Melody shook her head, saying, "No, I haven't, but guys, I need your help! It's Grenda"!

"Oh no! you are not blaming your glitter Gator on this mess," Barb sternly told the Pop/Rock Troll.

Melody groaned, saying, "I'm serious! I mixed up some weird potion, and I brought Grenda to life!

Hearing this, Demo commented, surprised, "Just like in the Dealy Plushies movies"!

Melody nodded, adding, "Please! You have to believe me"!

"We do want to believe you, Mel, but you can't bring plushies to life. Alright, that only happens in movies," Branch reminded Melody.

"Note: Branch is correct, as this kind of stuff is merely fictional," Laguna stated while adjusting her glasses.

Melody then commented, "So, pretend this is a movie! What would happen if a Troll brought a plushie to life"?

Barb saw how panicked Melody looked, making her think that what she was saying might really be true, and seemed to lessen her guard, saying, "Well, in Deadly Plushies 4, the kid who brought the plushies to life has to get the plushie's spirit to return to plush form before bedtime. Otherwise, the Troll will become a plush toy forever."

Melody gulped nervously, saying, "Well, that's not good."

Suddenly, the lights in the room seemed to flciker, making everyone jump i fright while Demo exclaimed, "Ghost"!

Then, they heard the sounds of someone laughing, and turned their heads, seeing the new Troll standing by a light switch, flicking it on and off over and over again, while laughing.

Aggie gasped, recognizing the Troll's color scheme, saying, "No way! It's Grenda, but as a Troll"!

"Oh my guh, she really did bring it to life," Smidge exclaimed in shock.

Grenda then stopped playing with the light switch, telling Melody, "But, look on the bright side, Melody. At least you'll be a cute plush toy; maybe a wolf plushie."

"Grenda," Val asked the Troll in shock, almost finding it hard to believe it was previously the same stuffed glitter Gator toy.

"I see you, Val," Grenda replied, laughing as she ran out of the room and into the hallway, leaving the Trolls to look at one another in worry.

Val, now worried, asked, "What are we going to do? If something happens to Melly, aunt Mal's going to kill me! Or at least be very mad at me"!

"What about me? I'm the one who's gonna turn into a plush toy," Melody exclaimed, now frightened.

Aggie tried to calm the situation down, saying, "Hey, hey, no one is turning into a plush toy, okay? We can fix this.

"How are we supposed to do that," Stereo asked curiously.

Barb gave it some thought before getting an idea, grinning as she suggested, "Well, if I remember the director's cut of Deadly Plushies 6 correctly, which I do, we just have to turn Grenda back into a plush toy by scaring her."

"Oh, so we're scaring plush toys now? That's what I'm squawking about, yo," Synth cheered, holding his hand/wing up for a high-five, but everyone shook their heads from how bad the pun was.

"Ok, so, what's the best way to scare a toy," Branch planned out, saying, "Maybe if we had a hammer"?

"No way! Dogs are the way to go," Riff suggested, saying, "Now, if we can only find one."

Trollex asked, "What about a jack-in0-the-box prank? That'll scare her."

After some planning, the Trolls came up with the perfect plan, involving Dante now wearing a fitted sheet over his head and body, and Blues offering a purple sleeping bag rolled up on the floor.

Rhythm started to go over the plan, saying, "No plush toy can resist a sleepover, especially Grenda. So, when she grabs this rolled-up sleeping bag here..."

"A ghost, Dante in this case, will drop down and scare her back into being a plush toy," Blues added.

"Smart geniuses in the house," R&B exclaimed before doing one of their signature handshakes together.

"Come on. We gotta hide," Trolelx declared, once they felt everything was ready.

Set to place their plan in motion, all of the Normal Trolls went into one of the other rooms in the condo room and hid quietly, Dante had the sheet on and was ready to be a ghost, while Melody awaited for Grenda to come back.

Spotting her skipping down the hallway, Melody gestured her to come inside, saying, "Oh, Grenda! Can you come here for a sec"?

Grenda, curious, came over into the room, while Melody told her, "I'm sorry for earlier. I put together this fun little sleepover to make it up to you."

Grenda thought that the gesture was very sweet, saying, "Oh! A sleepover? Here? Oh, you shouldn't have, Mel."

Melody giggled, saying, "Here, I got you a sleeping bag; you can roll it out and we can share fun stories under the cobwebs."

Grenda smiled and went over to the sleeping bag, about to pick it up, but to Melody's surprise, Grenda then stood back up and gave the Pop/Rock Troll a sly smile while laughing, saying, "Nice try, but I know all your tricks, Melody. I've been watching you for years. And once you turn into a plush toy, you can watch me. Forever," before cackling and walking away.

Melody sighed in disappointment as her friends came out from hiding, sad that their plan didn't work, while Biggie said, "We have to find another way to scare her."

"Yeah, ayn' fast," Buckaroo added.

"I can't believe that didn't work," Sid commented as he picked up the sleeping bag, which prompted Dante to fly down and scream, "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO," and caused Sid to get scared and scream and jump back in fright, while some of the Normal Trolls laughed, thinking it was funny.

By the elevator, Grenda was hiding behind a flower vase saying quietly, "Just gotta hide until bedtime tonight. And then it's...What's that, Melody? You're the doll now," and laughed, thinking it was really funny.

Then, she quieted down when she heard the other Trolls coming, and hid, with Val saying as they approached the elevator, "Quick, we have to find Grenda! It's almost our bedtime"!

"What we need is to get some help! Maybe we should ask the others to come up here with us," McJagger suggested.

"Great idea," Aggie commented as she pressed the button to get the elevator to come.

However, to everyone's shock, even Grenda's, when the elevator door opened, it leaked a large pool of blood that went under their feet, and it wasn't just any blood, but Troll blood.

"Ahhhhhhh! Help," Melody screamed as she stumbled back towards Val, who caught her.

"Looks like your vision came true, Aggie," Trollex shouted as he floated up fearfully with Aggie so they could avoid the blood.

"I guess so! Run, guys," Aggie shouted, causing everyone to run for their lives.

They all ran into different rooms that were in the hallway, and when one Troll came out of one room, they ran into another one, and this repeated for a while, until Riff shouted, "Wait a minute! Are we all...running to the same places in different views"?

"Yeah, I just entered that room a few times already," Cooper said while pointing to room 1309.

"We're trapped in a scary loop," Laguna exclaimed, causing everyone to huddle up and scream in fright.

Now, even Grenda, who was watching this, was terrified, as she declared, "Nope! Too scary! If you need me, I'll be a plush Glitter Gator"!

With a poof of smoke and the small breeze that blew around, Grenda had changed back into a plush Glitter Gator toy again. Everyone saw that Grenda was now a toy again, as Melody ran up to the plush Glitter Gator and picked it up, with Tiny cheering, saying, "We did it! We scared Grenda back into being a plush toy"!

Everyone took a minute to forget about their fears and celebrated as Melody faced her friends, saying, "Thanks, guys! I don't know what would've happened if you hadn't come up."

"Aww, we're just looking out for our fellow friend in need, no worries," Val commented while patting Melody on the back.

Melody looked up at her cousin, saying, "I'm sorry I ruined your movie marathon."

Val chuckled, saying, "It's not your fault; I'm your big cousin. We should have gotten to watch it together. I sometimes forget you're not the same little Troll I remember you as when you were younger."

Melody smiled, saying, "That doesn't mean I don't love you any else, Val. We're family, and even in our highs and lows, you're still always gone be my older cousin."

Melody then looked at Grenda, before saying to the toy, "And you are going to be going under my pillow when we get back to our room. You need to think about what you did," and placing it back in her hair.

"I think after all that we experienced tonight, I've had enough scares for one day. Let's head back downstairs and join the others, and let's watch a much nicer movie, if that's ok with you, Barb," Aggie suggested.

Barb nodded, saying, "Yeah, I definitely would rather want to watch a less scary movie right now after witnessing that growling noise in the closet."

"And the knife-wielding maniac," Dante reminded.

"And the twins," Synth added spookily.

"And the ghost of Irena," Prince D mentioned.

"Woah, you guys actually got to see all of that," Melody asked surprised.

"It's ayy long stawry. We'll tell ya once we get the elevator all clea-," Buckaroo started to say.

Suddenly, to ther surprise, everyone saw that the elevator was no longer leaking blood and looked so clean.

"Woah! Who cleaned it up that quick," Branch asked, surprised to see this.

Everyone turned their heads and saw what looked like a ghost of a grey MMT wearing a white dress with long black hair partially covering her face, and she seemed to be sweeping.

"Oh, it must've been her. Thank you, ghost lady," Tiny thanked the lady, who looked up and smiled, waving at the Trolls.

The Trolls all smiled and waved back before they stopped and realized...they were waving at a ghost! and not just any ghost, but the ghost of Irena! The Troll in white! In shock, everyone realized what they were doing and screamed in fright, running into the elevators and riding it back down quickly, while the ghost smiled and chuckled in reply.

Back on the elevator, no one saw, but Grenda, the plush Glitter Gator, peeked its head out and smiled, winking at the fourth wall.
