Funk Ship Sleepover

The sun was starting to set over Trollstopia, as on the Vibe City spaceship, Funk Trolls were going about with their daily activities, as a voiceover played, though no one in the city could hear it. The voice said, which was identified as Prince D's voice, "On a special night, a night, unlike any other, something fun emerges from the depths of Vibe City." Then, a new voice joined in, which could be identified as McJagger's voice, as it said, "Where rules are tossed aside to unleash a certain craziness that enables one to feel pure joy and excitement." The view then started to direct to the Royal Funk Palace, as Prince D then said in the voiceover, "Where souls are bound only by the laws of fun, set to enact such acts of entertainment and enjoyment for all to see." The view was then taken inside the Funk palace, into the main entrance, as McJagger's voice joined the voiceover again, adding, "and that night is," before suddenly, from both ends of the hall, McJagger and Prince D hopped out, landing right in front of each other and saying in excitement, "Sleepover night"! Both Funk Trolls were also wearing hooded onesies pajamas, as Prince D's was a simple purple four-footed hooded onesies with gold buttons while McJagger's was a purple and blue tie-dyed four-footed hooded onesie with black buttons. Both boys excitedly ran around each other, smiling brightly, while chanting in unison, "Sleep-over! Sleep-over! Sleep-over"! Both best friends playfully bumped one another while McJagger stated, "Man, I love it when we get to have a sleepover together! It's always so much fun"! Prince D chuckled and said, "You know it," as the two did a handshake together where they fist-bumped, gave each other low-fives, bumped elbows on their front legs, did a pointed arm wave motion, and then they wiggled their toes from their right/left front legs and made an owl hooting sound. Both boys broke into laughter again, before they saw someone enter the palace to join them. It turned out to be none other than Cooper, who was wearing a light blue simple four-footed hooded onesies. Cooper was happily chuckling and said, "Hey guys," while running up to them, playfully bumping his brother before he said, "Thanks so much for inviting me to join your annual sleepover! McJagger said, "No problems, Cooper; I figured you'd love to join, plus, it'll give you a chance to spend time with your brother." Prince D hugged his arm around Cooper while saying, "Yeah, Cooper, you're gonna have so much fun on this sleepover"! Cooper laughed and said with a huge smile on his face, "With you two, I know I'm gonna have a blast"! Soon, a new voice entered the fray, revealing to be Aggie, who happily flew into the Funk castle, saying, "I made it, guys"! Aggie was wearing her nightgown, which was rainbow-colored while carrying a small bag that had some things she packed for the sleepover.

Cooper and Prince D smiled and said with excitement and in unison, "Aggie" and ran to give high-fives to their adopted sister, to which Aggie was more than happy to do, as she high-fived them before giving the Royal Funk twins a big hug, saying, "Oh golly, this is gonna be so much fun! Thank you very much for inviting me to come"! Prince D smiled and said while wrapping his arm around Aggie, "No problem, Aggie; you're our adopted sister, you're practically family, so you deserve to be a part of this fun night as much as Cooper does." Cooper giggled and added, "Plus, you know what they say: four trolls are better than three," flashed a goofy grin that made Aggie, Prince D, and McJagger laugh. Aggie then said, "Cooper was telling me nonstop about your sleepovers, Prince D, and you and McJagger make them sound like a lot of fun." McJagger smiled and said, "Oh, you and Cooper are gonna be in for quite the night; our sleepovers have been known to be quite Funky and fun for all Trolls to enjoy"! Cooper then remembered something and said, "I hope you guys don't mind but, I kind of invited some friends to join me 'cause I told them how much fun your sleepovers are and that they shouldn't get to miss out. Is that ok"? Prince D smiled and said, "No worries, Cooper; the more, the merrier," while McJagger added, "Yeah, we're always happy to have someone join the sleepover. Who'd you invite"? As on cue, the door opened and three new Trolls that were riding bubbles to come inside entered the castle. First up was Branch, who was wearing his white-and-blue striped pajamas and matching nightcap, and also was wearing a backpack, where his things were. He landed belly-first on the chair after the bubble popped, but then bounced off and landed on the floor, groaning while commenting, "Still not used to the landing yet." Prince D helped Branch up while saying, "Hey, Branch, welcome; we're happy you could join us." Branch smiled and said, "Thanks, Prince D. Cooper told me about the sleepover and invited me to come along, but I was unsure if it'd be ok." McJagger reassured Branch while saying, "Hey, no worries, Branch; anyone's allowed to join our sleepovers. All you need are comfy pjs, and the ability to have fun." Branch chuckled and said, "Well, I already got my pjs on, and I can have fun, so I guess I qualify." Then, another cheery voice, in the form of a "Yoo-hoo," came in, revealing to be Minuet, who also flew into the castle, and was wearing light green footed and hooded onesies with silver musical notes, and carrying a small bag that held her belongings.

She fluttered beside the boys while saying, "Good evening, friends; I hope I didn't arrive too late." Cooper smiled and said, "Nope, you're right on time," while McJagger added, "Welcome, Minuet; we're excited Cooper invited you to come and join us; it's gonna be a lot of fun"! Minuet then asked, "I am curious as to what your sleepover plans are for tonight." Prince D smiled and said, "Not to worry, we will fill you in on all the details," while Cooper shouted, "Wait! There's one more Troll coming! And it's someone you'll be very happy I invited, McJagger." Before the red Funk Troll could even ask who it was, a bubble soon came in, entering the castle before arriving, landing on one of the bouncy seats, and it turned out to be Laguna, who was wearing light purple footed and hooded onesies, with special feet covering designed for her fins, and her pajamas had blue dolphin designs on them. McJagger thought that Laguna looked so cute in her pajamas, and couldn't help but blush and pull his hood up to hide the hot-pink blush he had. Everyone, except Laguna since she was still taking in her surroundings of being inside the Funk castle for the first time, saw McJagger's reaction and snickered, with Prince D saying, "Guess someone's feeling a bit too shy to speak"? McJagger's muffled voice could be heard saying, "She's so beautiful; I feel like there's someone playing a bass guitar with my heartstrings." Aggie then decided to playfully tease the Funk Troll, saying, "Hi, Laguna! McJagger thinks you look pretty in your pjs"! Laguna looked up and blushed, smiling, especially when she saw McJagger in his pajamas, with the Funk Troll slowly lowering his hood and sheepishly smiling while his cheeks flushed pink. Laguna approaches McJagger while saying, "Well, I think you look cute in your pajamas too, McJagger." Both trolls, with blushing cheeks, smiled and leaned towards each other, touching noses together, while everyone watched in awe, before Prince D and McJagger stood together, with Prince D saying, "Now that everyone's here, ladies and gentleTrolls, welcome to our sleepover in the Funk castle"! Everyone cheered in excitement while McJagger, "Back when Prince D and I were little, we both had the most fun sleepovers together in here, and we did all sorts of fun things together that tonight, we will get to share with you! Starting off in the library"! Prince D walked over to a button that was on the wall and pressed it, opening the door to the record library.

Laguna's jaw dropped in awe from seeing the many rows of records and albums that were in the pockets on the shiny silver shelves. She wasn't the only one, as Minuet also looked at the library in awe, especially about the colorful lights that were in the room, saying, "O-M-B Flat Minor! This is amazing! Look at all of these records"! Prince D smiled and said, "Yep, this is where we keep all of our records that have topics ranging from groovy hits to records about historical pieces. But tonight, we're kicking things off here with a fun little dance game we call "Dance the Act." Prince D then said, "Here's how the game works: We have right here," and added while pulling out a bucket with pieces of paper in it, "A bucket with pieces of paper written on them. On each piece of paper, there's a little phrase that says an action, emotion, or something like that. Your job is that when it's your turn, you pick something from the bucket, and when you enter the dance circle, you have to perform a dance showing off what you picked, and we try to guess what you're doing. It's like charades, but more fun." Everyone seemed to be intrigued by the idea of the game, as Aggie asked, "We can use our voices in this game, right"? Prince D and McJagger nodded, which made Cooper laugh and say, "That's good because I don't know if I could last not being able to talk for a while; I'm very, very talkative"! Branch seemed to smile and say, "Ok, I'm in," while Minuet added, "Yes, consider me in as well; I believe this is a game I'll easily master." Laguna was more than ready to play, adding, "Consider me impressed and in," while Aggie added, "Yeah, let's play"! With that, Prince D walked over to one of the shelves and picked up a record, spinning it on his finger before a record player appeared and he placed the record on it, making music start to play. Everyone felt the rhythm of the music flow through them and either bop their heads or sway side to side, as McJagger asked, "Ok, who wants to go first"? Branch raised his hand up and said, "I'll go first," and reached into the bucket to pick out a piece of paper. He looked at it as it said, "Climb a ladder," and he folded the paper, placing it in his hair, before he said, "Ok, I'm ready." Everyone formed a dance circle around him, and Branch began to do his "ladder dance," and started by stepping in tune to the music, side to side. Then, he did a motion where he mimiced placing something on the ground. Then, he started to mimic stepping onto the pretend thing and started to mimic "climbing" it.

Aggie was the first to guess, asking, "Are you trying to get to the top of something," while Minuet suggested, "Are you trying to climb up something"? Branch replied, "Close, but what," and continued his dance while Laguna guessed, "Onto the back of an animal," while Cooper commented, "He's climbing Mount Music"! Prince D guessed, "Up a wall," while McJagger guessed, "Climbing up a ladder"? Branch then pointed at McJagger, saying, "Yeah, he got it," as everyone cheered in celebration before McJagger smiled and picked up a piece of paper from the bucket, looking at it as it read, "Baking a cake." McJagger smiled and said, "Ok, yo, I'm up; better watch out 'cause I'm about to jazz it up on the floor"! Branch stepped out of the circle and joined the crowd as McJagger stepped forward, ready to dance, and started with his dance, mimicking placing ingredients into a bowl. Everyone was firing off random guesses, between Minuet's "Mixing a scientific potion," and Branch's, "Making a painting"? When McJagger started to moonwalk while pretending he was mixing all the ingredients in a bowl, with Cooper blurting out, "Mixing! He's mixing up, uh...paints," as McJagger said, "Try again, Cooper." After a while, McJagger then started to change his movements and mimicked pouring the batter into a pan, which prompted Aggie's guess, "Pouring cement," and then started to mimic placing the pan into the oven. That was when Laguna guessed it, "Oven. Youe're cooking, or, baking! Baking a cake"! McJagger pointed at Laguna and said, "Ding ding, correct"! Laguna smiled in pride, happy she got the answer right before she went to pick out her choice, getting, "Scratching turntables," and boy was she excited. Laguna knew instantly that she had this in the bag, saying as she took her place in the dance circle, "Watch me work," and started to mimic that she had a DJ set in front of her and did hand motions to make it look like she was scratching turntables. While doing so, she stepped side to side and often did tight spins to keep her dance alive, while everyone guessed, and the minute Aggie saw Laguna mimic wearing headphones, she got the answer right away, guessing, "Scratching turntables"! Everyone praised Aggie for getting the answer correct, with Aggie saying, "This is a lot of fun," while picking her choice to dance out, as it turned out to be, "Giving a hug," and on cue, everyone's hug watches chimed, prompting Aggie to smile and say, "Hug Time," and everyone gathered for a group hug.

Once they separated from the hug, Aggie winked and said, "By the way, guys," and did a spin and posed, adding, "That was my little dance choice," and the group broke into laughter. Throughout the hour, the group was having a lot of fun playing, "Dance the Act," and came up with a bunch of funny dances to enact what they were trying to do. Minuet did a hilarious interpretation of "Making toast," by pretending she was the toast, popping out of the toaster. Cooper ended up picking "Playing a flute," and was more than happy to do that dance, and actually ended up playing the flute for real, and the best part? He played it with his nose, a skill that Minuet was both surprised, and intrigued by, and wanted to learn and master, and everyone was rolling on the floor in laughter, while Quincy peeked his head in to check on how everyone was doing. After an hour of playing "Dance the Act," they all went into another room, which seemed to be empty until McJagger said as he closed the door behind them, "You guys up for a little change in...gravity," and pressed a button on the side of the wall that turned the gravity off in the room. Suddenly, everyone started to float off from the floor and around the room, a bit startled at first, with Cooper laughing while saying, "This is fun floating without gravity"! Minuet, however, was struggling to keep her balance while in the air, saying as her wings flapped helplessly, "Ah! This is really strange! How does anyone move around in this state"? Meanwhile, Aggie was using her feet to push herself forward as she floated, mentioning, "Woohoo, this is really fun," while Laguna, who was struggling to stay upright, commented, "Note: I'm very conflicted as to how you move around in zero-gravity"! Branch was also struggling to move right, saying, "It feels weird floating around freely like this," as Prince D advised, "Just pretend you're swimming in the water, it'll help you move around. and if you're close to a wall, push off with your hands and feet, it'll give you leverage." Aggie added as she pushed off the wall again, "Like this guys," and shot forward, adding, "This is so much fun! It's like I'm swimming and flying at the same time"! Branch followed the advice and used his feet to push off from the wall, moving forward while saying, "Hey, I'm doing it"! Cooper floated to the floor and jumped high, floating up to the ceiling while adding, "I'm bouncing like a ball," while Prince D said as he passed Cooper, "Hey, brother"! Minuet soon got the hang of it and was now floating gracefully, saying, "I think I finally mastered it," as she did a pirouette mid-float before floating to the sidewall. Laguna had also gotten the hang of it, flicking her tail while saying, "I finally got it under control, and note: it's so exciting," as she flicked her tail to move upward. McJagger came floating towards Branch as the two high-fived before heading to opposite ends.

Cooper giggled and started to float upside down while saying, "I have no control of any directions," as he floated past Aggie, who somersaulted mid-flat and did a loop-de-loop. Prince D was pretending to do the backstroke while Laguna floated around him, like if she was swimming around some coral, and floated towards McJagger, the two holding hands/paws and spinning together, looking at one another fondly before they floated past each other. Cooper was then seen suddenly pedaling a bicycle upside down while floating, shouting, "I'm bicycling in zero-gravity," while Branch, who saw this, asked, "Where did you even get that-," before he accidentally bumped into Minuet, both floating away while she apologized, saying, "I'm sorry," while Branch replied, "No worries." Aggie then saw Prince D coming and she and Prince D fist-bumped before they both accidentally bumped into Cooper, on Prince D's side, and Laguna, on Aggie's side, which prompted them to stop moving and was now floating in mid-air, before they all broke into laughter, joined in by Branch, McJagger, and Minuet. Soon, they all saw the door open and Essence peeked her head in, saying, "How are you all doing? I can see you guys are having a lot of fun." Prince D replied, "We're having so much fun, mom," while McJagger replied, "The best," as Cooper added, "I played a fute with my nose"! Essence chuckled before saying, "Well, I bet all that floating around has made you all develop a bit of an appetite. Q and I made cookies and hot chocolate if you're all feeling hungry." The sound of warm chocolate chip cookies and creamy hot chocolate got everyone excited, with Aggie saying, "Yeah, I love cookies," while Minuet added, "A night-time snack sounds marvelous," before Cooper declared, "Cookies," and dove to the button on the wall, pressing it so the gravity returned, and everyone was back on the floor. The minute that they were on the floor, McJagger declared, "Last one to the dining room is a worn-out lava lamp," and the gang ran out, heading into the dining room. When everyone entered the dining room, there was a plate full of chocolate chip cookies and were still steaming a bit, meaning they were warm and gooey, and by each chair, there was a steaming cup of hot chocolate waiting for them too.

Each Troll sat in the seats at the dining room table and picked up a cookie from the plate, taking a bite, with Branch commenting, "Wow, it's really good," while Laguna added, "Sweet and warm and gooey, the perfect consistency for a chocolate chip cookie." Aggie bit into her cookie and sipped on her cup of hot chocolate, mentioning, "Now this is the life; good friends, a fun night, and delicious cookies; this has to be one of the most fun sleepovers I've been a part of." Everyone was enjoying their cookies and hot chocolate, chatting the settling night away, until Quincy came in, saying, "Ok, everyone, it's almost time for bed," which made everyone sadly sigh, while Cooper asked, "Can we stay up a little longer, dad? Please," as Prince D and McJagger begged, "Please"? Quincy replied, "I would definitely say yes, but it's already getting kind of late." With that, everyone soon got up and started to head to Prince D's bedroom to settle in for the night. Inside the bedroom, Prince D was pulling down the covers so he could hop into his bed and pull the covers over him, while everyone else rolled out their sleeping bags and got inside them. Laguna took her glasses off and placed them by her sleeping bag while Minuet took off her headband and placed it next to her, as McJagger stated, "Well guys, so far, this night's has been quite a blast, right"? Branch, Aggie, Minuet, Cooper, and Laguna were all nodding and muttering in agreement, with Aggie saying, "Tonight's been so much fun, I almost don't want it to end," while Minuet added, "Indeed; this has been some of the most fun I've had in quite a long time"! Laguna added, "Note: For my first time in the Vibe City, this evening has been really fun, and it's a bit sad that our night of fun has to end now." That was when McJagger then said, "Well, not to worry, boo, because our night isn't over yet." That made Branch ask, "Huh? What do you mean"? Cooper then asked, "Are we gonna have a scary story contest? I got a really frightening one that'll keep everyone awake tonight! Hahahahahaha"! Prince D chuckled and said, "Actually, McJagger and I both got something else in mind. We'll tell you guys all about it once the lights are off." McJagger added, "Yeah, Prince D and I do this every year during our sleepovers; it's so exciting."

Soon, Queen Essence came into the bedroom, saying, "Is everyone comfortable and cozy"? Everyone in the room nodded, with Cooper saying, "We're all comfy cozy, mom," while Aggie mentioned, "Yes, Aunt Essence." Essence smiled and said, "If anyone needs anything, Quincy and I will be right across the hall in our bedroom. Sweet dreams, everyone." Queen Essence turned the lights off and slowly closed the door behind her, with all 7 Trolls nestled and looking like they were ready to sleep. Then, Prince D lifted his head up and whispered, "Ok guys, you ready to hear our plan"? Everyone lifted their heads up to listen a Laguna placed her glasses back on while Branch asked quietly, "What are we gonna do"? Prince D then said, "Brace yourselves guys because we're about to take this sleepover...outside." Everyone was confused at first, with Minuet asking, "What do you mean by that," as McJagger clarified, "He means we're gonna sneak out and have some late night fun out in Vibe City," and that made everyone in the group, except Prince D, who was smiling excitedly, gasp in surprise, with Aggie saying, "I don't know about that, won't we get in trouble"? Branch added, "Yeah, I mean, not that it doesn't sound intriguing, but we could get in a lot of trouble with Essence and Quincy if they catch us. I'd rather not risk it." Laguna added, "Note: it sounds tempting, but I don't want to risk us getting into trouble if we are spotted," while Minuet added, "Yeah, and what if we do get caught? They might ban us from ever coming to Vibe City again"! Prince D reassured everyone by saying, "Hey, don't worry, we're not gonna get caught. McJagger and I have done this every year together and not once have we ever been caught out late during our sleepovers. We have a plan, and it's worked out for us for years." McJagger nodded and added, "Yeah. When we were little kids, every time we snuck out, we always had a blast exploring and doing fun things together, and not once were we ever caught by Queen E and King Q. We've been keeping the streak alive ever since, and besides, it'll be a lot of fun. For about most of you, it'll give you a better chance to really explore the city, especially for you two, Minuet and Laguna, since it's your first time here."

Cooper, who didn't seem to mind while saying, "Well, I'm in for any adventures and shenanigans, especially with my brother, so I'm in"! Aggie thought about it while saying, "Well, I'm concerned, but I can't pass up a chance to be with my best friends and do fun things with you guys so, I'm in too." Laguna then said, "Count me in too; a little outside trip could help me develop my research on Funk Troll culture," while minuet sighed and said, "Well, I'll join in too; the chance of mastering something we might see or do outside is great, and I intend to jump at the given opportunity." Branch was a bit hesitant, saying, "I still think it's a bad idea, you guys, I mean, we might get into trouble-," until Cooper said, "Yeah, we gonna stir up so much trouble! but it'll be fun doing it"! Branch then groaned and said, "Ok, I guess i'm in too," as everyone wanted to cheer loudly, but feared that they might get overheard by Quincy and Essence, so, they all did whisper cheers. Prince D hopped out of bed and tiptoed to the door, quietly opening it without making a sound so no one could hear him and his friends. Everyone peeked their heads out of the doorway to see if anyone was there before starting to tiptoe out of the bedroom and down the hall. Prince D peered his neck over to see if anyone was looking from the living room, which was down the hall and sighed in relief to see that Queen Essence and King Quincy were busy doing their own things and didn't seem to notice at all. He gave everyone the "all-clear" as they tiptoed to the main entrance, with McJagger pressing a button to activate the bubble ray, as it sent out one large bubble that everyone got caught in before they quietly floated out of the castle and above the ceiling in Vibe City, and not once did anyone notice them. As they floated towards the city in the bubble, everyone was chattering excitedly from how they had just snuck out of the Funk castle without the king and queen of Funk noticing them, Branch the most shocked, saying, "I can't believe we just did that," while Cooper added, "I can't believe how high we are! The view is awesome"! everyone looked out of the busy view below, Laguna taking note of this, saying, "Wow, at night, everything just seems to be more colorful, and I can see more neon lights glowing too." Minuet added, "It's truly a splendid sight, unlike anything I've ever seen before," as Prince D smiled, saying, "Vibe City at night is pretty cool. The lights shine a little brighter, and the atmosphere gets a whole lot funkier too." McJagger added, "Plus, there are places around here that are the most fun to hang out at during the evening too, and we'll get to show you."

The bubble floated for a while until it headed towards the ground and once they landed on the ground, it popped, enabling everyone to be free, as they looked around in awe at the sights of Vibe City at night while walking down the street. The group looked around until Prince D saw something of interest, saying, "Let's stop here first," and opened the door so they could walk in. It ended up being what looked like a small diner, with purple-and-yellow neon booth seats by wooden tables, shiny silver walls, a rainbow-colored jukebox playing Funk music, and a long table upfront with a bunch of cups, utensils, and other assorted kitchenware, and next to it was a gray door that swung open, leading to the kitchen inside. The diner, at the moment, was empty, and the only Funk Trolls available were the ones managing the diner. Aggie, curious, asked, "Where are we," which led McJagger to answer, "Welcome to Vibe City's premiere late-night diner; the place to get the best cheese fries and great late-night service. Follow us," as he and Prince D led everyone to the long table up front and sat in the circular seats. A green male funk Troll who was wearing a white chef's hat and chef's clothing saw then and immediately recognized Prince D and McJagger, saying, "Well, well, if it ain't my favorite customers, and it seems you boys brought friends with you this time"! Prince D nodded, saying, "Yep. 7 Sleepover Specials please," as the chef Funk Troll nodded and went into the kitchen to get something, prompting Branch to ask, "So, what are we doing here"? Prince D answered, "When McJagger and I first snuck out for our sleepover adventure, we came here, and met the chef, Greg, and he makes the best late-night milkshakes you've ever had." McJagger added, "When we first came here, we told him about what we were doing, and has kept it a secret since then. In exchange, we both helped him do the dishes and he regarded us by making a special milkshake he named the Sleepover Special, and ever since, we always come here first every year and order the same drink." Cooper licked his lips while saying, "I love milkshakes, but make sure no one shakes them for real or else it's gonna cause a big mess," and laughed, causing everyone else to laugh too.

Aggie then asked, "What are they like flavor-wise," as McJagger answered, "It's the classic vanilla shake with chocolate and caramel syrup, hand-whipped whipped cream, sprinkles, and not one, but two cherries on top." Everyone thought that it sounded delicious, resulting in a, spoken in unison, "MMMMMMMMMMM," while Minuet commented, "Now, that does sound really delicious." and Laguna mentioned, "Sounds like a real treat." Soon, the chef Funk Troll returned with a tray that had 7 milkshakes prepped while saying, "Here you go guys and gals, 7 Sleepover Specials! Enjoy them, and hope you all have a fun night." He took a milkshake off the tray and passed it to each Troll before everyone finally had a milkshake and sipped on them, smiling from how delicious it tasted, with Cooper taking a huge sip before he stopped and said, "AH! Brain freeze," and his face turned blue and cold like he was frozen. Aggie tapped Cooper's forehead, to see if he was truly frozen, commenting, "Uh, guys, I think his face is frozen," which prompted Minuet to tap his cheek with her spoon, and that was what caused the ice on Cooper's face to break and free him, promoting the Pop/Funk Troll to giggle and say, "Guess I drank way too fast." McJagger chuckled and said, "Yeah, it's tasty, but a lot better to sip slowly than to gulp down in one...well...gulp." Branch sipped on his milkshake, commenting, "This is really good," while Laguna added while chewing on the two cherries she plopped into her mouth, "Note: it's delicious"! Cooper leaned back in his seat while sipping away, but Aggie saw how close he was to falling off and quickly leaned back, using her Rock hand to push him back up while saying, "Careful, Cooper"! However, when she pushed him up, Aggie pushed a bit too hard and the momentum made Cooper's head dunk into the milkshake cup and he ended up with a whipped cream beard, prompting everyone to see. Prince D, noticing his brother, couldn't help but snicker and say, "Hey, you look like Santa Troll, Cooper," while Cooper giggled and said as he placed the cherry in his cup onto the top of his hat, "Ho ho ho, I am Santa Troll, and I hope that you've all been very good Trolls this year"! He then dipped his right front leg into the cup and used his index to scoop a bit of whipped cream onto it and pointed to Aggie, tapping her on the nose while saying, "Like you, Aggie"! Aggie broke into laughter when she saw whipped cream on her nose, which made Cooper smile and then do the same thing with Minuet, commenting while tapping her nose and covering it with whipped cream, "And you too, Minuet"!

Minuet was laughing pretty hard while wiping off the whipped cream as Cooper got up from his seat and walked up to the others, saying while tapping each of their noses and covering them with whipped cream, "The same goes for you too, Branch! And you too, brother- I mean, Prince D, ho ho ho! and you, McJagger, and your girlfriend, Laguna, too"! Everyone was a ball of laughing Trolls with other noses covered in whipped cream, as Cooper laughed, saying after licking off the whipped cream beard he had, "Funny and delicious"! After they had finished their milkshakes, the group thanked Greg again before they exited the diner and went to their next stop on their late0night adventure, and this time, McJagger was leading the pack, showing the way down the street before they came across a blue building labeled with a neon sign that flashed, "Rhythm Roller Rink." Aggie peeked through the large window and declared, "Guys, it's a rollerskating rink," and that prompted everyone to look through the window in awe, while Laguna exclaimed, "Wow, that looks like so much fun"! Minuet added, "O-M-B Flat Minor, this is amazing," while Branch commented, "I didn't know you guys like to skate." Prince d answered, "You bet we love to skate! McJagger and I skated here all the time when we were kids," while McJagger added, "Yeah, and I was the best 95% of the time." Prince D chuckled and said, "No way, I was the better skater," which made the red Funk Troll smile and say, "Oh really? How about that time you tried to do a figure 8 and fell flat on your butt? Meanwhile, I can skate circles around you, with grace, poise, and balance." Prince D smirked and retorted, "You sure you're not just saying that to impress your girlfriend," which prompted both McJagger and LAguna to blush beet red while Cooper, Branch, Aggie, and Minuet awed from the adorableness of the couple's reaction. Prince D chuckled and said, playfully bumping his best friend, "Just teasing, man," as McJagger also broke into a chuckle and said while bumping Prince D back, "How do you always find a way to get me at that"? The Funk prince shrugged and said, "I have my ways," before Cooper declared, "Let's go in and skate, guys! I wanna get my rolling on," and somersaulted to the door, opening it and held the door open so everyone could walk inside.

Inside, the roller rink was a beautiful sight to see, as there was a giant, silver skating rink with Funk Trolls skating around, having a lot of fun. Some were out doing tricks in the middle of the floor, while others were holding the wall, getting used to things. There were long wooden benches for the Trolls to sit on so they could put on the skates they got from the blue counter behind them, where an orange elderly Funk Troll was, handing out yellow skates with orange wheels on them. Some of the skates looked like regular boot-shaped skates, others were flat and had a red strap to secure the skates onto their feet. Prince d and the gang approached the counter, with the Funk prince saying, "Hey, Jim! 20 pairs of skates please. 12 for 3 quadrupeds, and 8 for our bipedal pals." The Funk Troll by the counter nodded and pulled out 8 pairs of booted skates, and when Laguna saw what the skates looked like, she asked, "Um, could you switch a pair out for a flat pair please? I, uh, don't have any feet, so my fins won't fit in the booted skates." Jim nodded and gave Prince D and McJagger the 18 pairs of booted skates while switching out the other booted pair he had for one with flat skates, and giving it to Laguna, who thanked him. Then, they all went to sit by the benches so they could tie on their skates, Branch saying, "I got to say, it's been a while since I've skated. I think the last time was when Poppy and I were leading the sing-along and sang, "Good Times," before we found out about Barb's World Tour." Minuet was tying her skates while adding, "I love to skate: rollerskating, figure skating, ice skating, any kind, I love to do and master! Plus, it's a lot of fun"! Laguna was adjusting the strap on her skates while saying, "I haven't skated the while either. The last time I went skating was when I went ice skating with McJagger, and I haven't worn skates for that. But now, this is my first time wearing skates, and I'm a bit unsure of what to do, and how to move around in these skates." McJagger had placed the skates on his feet and was moving around with ease, saying while offering her a hand, erm, front leg for help, "I'll help you, boo. Plus, if you feel uncomfortable at first, just hold onto the wall until you gain your balance."

Laguna smiled, feeling touched by her boyfriend's kind gesture, while Aggie mentioned as she stood up, "We're all set and ready to skate"! Cooper got up and was already skating along the carpet floor, saying, "I'm ready to go skating"! Once everyone had their skates on, they all began to march up to the skating rink so they could skate along the shiny floor. Prince Dwas the first to enter the rink, skating along the floor with ease, followed by McJagger, Cooper, Aggie, and Minuet, while Laguna, who was struggling to remain upright, entered the rink, but held onto the wall so she could keep her balance. Cooper was skating with his brother, as he and Prince D were having a lot of fun together, while Minuet was beginning to do pirouettes and glides across the floor while skating around as if it was a stage to do ballet on. Aggie was getting used to her skates as she spun around and skated with ease, while Branch was doing some of the skating moves he did when he sang "Good Times," with Poppy. McJagger saw Laguna struggling and skated up to her, offering his front leg up to her, allowing Laguna to grab onto it. He then started to guide her to the floor, saying, "Remember: skating with skates is just like when we were ice skating. March your feet, and keep your arms up for balance." Laguna nodded and followed her boyfriend's advice, marching her feet so she could skate across the floor, and kept her arms up so she could stay balanced and while she struggled at first, soon, Laguna got the hang of moving on wheels and soon, was giggling in joy while skating across the rink, commenting, "I've gotten the hang of it! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE," and was having a blast with the skating. McJagger smiled and couldn't help but watch Laguna fondly as she skated, thinking that she looked beautiful while doing so. Everyone was enjoying their time skating at the rink, as Prince D thought that the moment could be even more perfect with a song. So, he skated up to a nearby musician that was playing music and whispered a song request to him. The musician nodded and started to play a new song as everyone heard the song and started to skate to the beat. Prince D started the song, singing as all of his friends saw him sing and skated around him to the melody of the music.

Soon, after skating for a while, the gang returned the skates to the counter and exited the roller rink, walking down the streets of Vibe City again. Cooper commented, "Man, you two, this has been so much fun! I'm having a blast on this sleepover"! Aggie added, "Yeah, this has been really cool! Who knew you could have this much fun sneaking out"? Prince d smiled and said, "It's even more fun when no one else knows," as McJagger added, "Yeah, and what makes it even more fun is that you guys get to join in on the fun too"! Branch then let out a yawn, saying, "well, it's bene fun, but I'm getting pretty tired. Maybe we should head back and get some sleep." Minuet yawned as well while Laguna add as she rubbed her eyes in exhaustion, "Note: I'm feeling *yawns* kind of sleepy too." Seeing everyone's sleepy facial expressions, Prince d smiled and said, "Yeah, we should probably head back and get to sleep. Come on, guys, I'll show you how to sneak into the castle the backway so King Quincy and Queen Essence won't see us." However, before anyone could head back, Cooper remembered something and said, "Wait! Before we head back, there's one more I want to do. Can we do it, please"? Everyone looked at cooper, who was begging, as McJagger said, Well if that's ok with you guys, I don't see why not. What do you guys think"? Branch yawned and said, "Well, I'm tired, but I supposed one last thing couldn't hurt," while Minuet added, "Yeah, I suppose I have the energy to do one last thing before we go to bed." When Aggie yawned while asking, "What did you have in mind, Cooper," Cooper grinned and said, "Well, ever since I found out I originally came from Vibe City, there's something I've always wanted to see: the control room, and how mom and dad fly the Vibe City ship! Do you think we can go see"? Prince d suddenly became hesitant, saying, "Geesh, man, I don't know, that might be a bit risky. When I was young, dad told me that I wasn't allowed to go in there until I became king and that rule has applied still to this day." Branch then added, "Besides, cooper, you've been known to touch things that aren't supposed to be touched. I mean, what if you press a button by accident that makes the ship move"? Cooper scoffed and said, "I won't touch anything, and besides, we're just gonna look at the controls. I just want to see how they look like. Mom and dad won't have to know we were there." Laguna gulped in nervousness and said, "Note: I do not condone that idea," while Minuet added, "Yeah, I don't think it's such a good idea, especially with the risk of getting in trouble with the king and queen."

Suddenly, Aggie felt her regular vision become dazed as a psychic vision played in her mind, and in the clip, she saw King Quincy standing by a doorway with Queen essence,e holding what looked like a plug, and they both looked upset about something. When the vision ended, Aggie snapped back into it and said, "Yeah, I agree, we shouldn't risk getting into any trouble with Aunt Essence and Uncle Quincy." Cooper then said, "What if we just look for a few minutes? We won't touch anything, and the minute we're done, we can go back and sleep. Please? I've always wanted to see the controls of Vibe city, and see what helps make the ship move. Please, Prince D? Please, guys"? Prince d thought about it before he said, "Well...i guess it wouldn't hurt to go in for a few minutes, just a few tough, ok"? Cooper nodded and said, "Yeah, ok"! McJagger then whispered, "Man, you sure this is a good idea? We've never been to the controls room before." Prince D whispered, "I've seen the control room before, so as long as everyone follows my lead, we should be fine." Branch then said, "Well, this still sounds like a bad ide,a but i guess it couldn't hurt to just take a quick peek," while Minuet added, "I guess so, but only a small one." Aggie, however, tried to speak up about her vision, "Um, I still don't think we should, guys. I just-," but Cooper's excitement overpowered her concerns, as Cooper exclaimed, "Let's go see them," and started to run before he stopped, saying, "How do we get there"? Prince D chuckled and answered, "We just need a bubble taxi," and snapped his fingers, as a bubble came and picked them up, carrying the group to a new part of the ship, where they were on a golden platform and greeted by a sliding door with a scanner that was currently locked. Prince d walked up to the scanner and placed his paw on it, letting it scan his paw before the doors opened, revealing the controls room, much to everyone's awe, as Laguna asked, "How did you have access to open the door, Prince D"? Prince D answered, "That scanner scans for royal DNA, and luckily since I'm a prince, it allows me inside too."

Inside, the controls room was huge, as there was a giant dashboard with dozens of buttons, levers, pulls, and screens for a lot of different purposes, including a giant golden steering wheel that was used to drive the ship. Everyone was in awe with Laguna taking notes while saying, "The Vibe City controls room is huge," and Aggie mentioning, "And look at all of these buttons"! Everyone walked inside to take a closer look as the door closed behind them. Cooper was in awe, saying, "I thought the controls in Vibe Town were incredible, but this is even better! So many buttons and levers! Mom and Dad use all of these"? Prince D nodded, saying, "Yeah, they're all used to help fly the ship and control it. Mom usually presses the buttons while Dad steers the ship, or so I've seen. I think I know what some of these do." Branch, now curious, asked, "What buttons do what exactly," as Prince d looked, saying, "Uh, if I remember, that big red button is supposed to make the ship fly forward." Cooper, the minute he saw that button, was amazed and said, "Ooh, gotta press," and raised his arm to press it, but Minuet aught it while Aggie said, "Cooper, no! We can't press it," while Prince D said, "Yeah, bro. You know I love you, but we can't touch anything. One wrong button or lever might get us busted, so, please, don't touch. Got it"? Cooper nodded and said, "got it," before McJagger said, "That lever over there activates the ship's groovitational pull ability, allowing it to manipulate gravity inside Vibe City at will." Prince D then pointed to a new button, saying, "This one activates the bubble ray," and continued to explain, but Cooper wasn't listening as he kept looking at the shiny red button he so wanted to press, despite being told not to touch anything. McJagger saw this and lept into action, saying, "Hey, Cooper, want to uh, play a quick game"? Cooper nodded and said, "Yeah, I'm already ready to play a game, even before you asked me! What's the game called"?

McJagger thought about it before saying, "It's called...uh...Statue! Where you...go to that corner," while pointing at an empty corner, adding, "And you have to remain still for a very long time! And...if you can beat the Vibe City record which is...4 hours, you win"! Cooper giggled and said, "Ok, you got a deal," and ran to the corner, standing there and not moving an inch, which made everyone secretly sigh in relief, Laguna whispering, "Good plan; now, we don't have to worry about Cooper pressing the button." Prince D then said, "Ok, who else wants to hear about some of the other features"? Branch, Minuet, and Laguna listened closely as Aggie decided to check on Cooper, watching to see if he was gonna move, and stared deeply, not wanting to move her gaze on him at all at the risk of him moving behind her back. Prince D continued to explain some of the controls on the dashboard and their features, but the longer it took, the more tired Aggie was getting from staring, and it was beginning to hurt her eyes a lot too. Aggie squinted to try and keep the pain from stinging her eyes, but as it kept getting increasingly hard to keep staring, her eyes grew weaker, like she just wanted to blink, just once! Finally, her eyes had enough, and in a split second, with exhausted tears, she blinked, closing her eyes for just a second, and in that second, the minute Aggie reopened her eyes, they widened in shock to see that Cooper was missing, making her exclaim, "Cooper is gone"! Everyone looked up and saw that Cooper was missing, with Branch asking, "Where did he go"?! Suddenly, everyone in the room froze when they heard a BEEP and saw that Cooper had pressed the red button, prompting him to say, "Sorry, but I have a compulsive need to press buttons that I can't control." Suddenly, they all felt a rumble and shook, with Minuet asking, "Does any Troll feel that," with Laguna commenting, "Note: I think the ship is moving"! And boy was she right as the Vibe City ship started to move forward, much to the confusion of everyone in Vibe City, who were wondering why the ship was moving forward. In the castle, Essence was reading a book while Quincy was knitting when they felt the ship jostle a bit, making Essence ask, "Q, do you feel the ship...moving"? Quincy reassured his wife, saying, "I'm sure it's just the wind outside; it's not like anyone would be in the control room trying to drive the ship."

"AH! What do we do," branch exclaimed as everyone was worried about getting caught, with McJagger saying, "Calm down, we can fix this. We just got to turn off the engine...uh, D, you know how to do that"? Prince D looked at the controls, replying, "I...I don't know! I never saw how they turned the ship off"! Cooper looked at the dashboard and pulled a light blue lever, saying, "This might help," but as he did, Prince d helplessly screamed, "No! Not that-," before suddenly, everyone was thrown back, hitting the wall behind them as they felt the ship move faster, making Branch exclaim, "That was the turbo boosters, right"? Prince D nodded while the force of going fast was making his lips flap in the wind, showing his frightened clenched teeth. Everyone in Vibe city was thrown down, stunned by the force of the turbo, and they weren't the only ones who felt in. in the castle, the force shook Essence, making her drop her book, and Quincy, making him drop the scarf he was knitting, as Essence said, "Ok, that is not the wind. someone's driving the ship"! Quincy got up from his chair, and said, "We have to go stop the ship before we crash somewhere"! Essence lept from her seat as the two Funk rulers ran to try and get to the controls room. Meanwhile, everyone in the controls room was hanging on for dear life, with Minuet exclaiming, "when I signed up to join this sleepover for adventures, this is not what I had in mind," while Aggie exclaimed, "Someone get this to stop"! Cooper saw a pull slider and said, "Found a solution," and pushed the pull slider up, but instead of making the ship stop, it made the spaceship start to fly upward and go in dreaded loop-de-loops, throwing everyone in the controls room around like ragdolls. Everyone in the city was also getting tossed around too as times were being thrown into buildings, causing damage, Trolls were crashing into things, and signs were being tossed willy-nilly, causing more destruction. Even Essence and Quincy were tossed around, thrown completely off-course from their run to the controls room to somewhere else. Everyone in the room kept getting tossed around, with Laguna saying, "Note: I'm getting space-sick," and looked really dizzy, while McJagger shouted, "Make this stop"! Cooper's face was green, making him say, "I feel like puking," while Branch held on for his life, shouting, "How do we stop this thing"?!

Suddenly, in the very moment that chaos ensued, everything just...stopped. The ship stopped doing loop-de-loops and everyone, who was now on the ceiling, came crashing onto the floor hard, groaning in pain, as Prince D saw that things stopped moving and commented, "Hey...I think we stopped." The rest of them got up and saw they had stopped moving, prompting Minuet to say, "Yes, it appears that we have regained control," while McJagger asked, "Cooper, what did you press this time that made the ship stop"? Cooper then said, in confusion, "Well, as much as I want to seem like the hero, I didn't press anything. Did any of you guys press a button"? Everyone shook their heads no, making Aggie ask, "But...if none of us were the ones who pressed a button, then...how did the ship stop"? Suddenly, everyone heard the door open behind them, prompting them to turn around and look behind them, but the second they did, everyone wish they hadn't. Because behind them was Quincy and Essence, who was holding the plug to the spaceship, and both of them did not look too pleased. Aggie so wanted to say, "That was my vision," but didn't want to risk anyone getting into any more trouble, as Prince D sheepishly laughed and said, "Uh...hey mom, hey dad," while McJagger added, "Hi Essence and Quincy." Cooper, wanting to add some humor to make the problem seem less tense, said whole-heartedly, "Hi mom, hi dad! I flew a spaceship and caused no damage whatsoever"! Minuet, Laguna, Aggie, and Branch all face-palmed from disbelief as Essence simply stated, "Really? Care to look outside of the room"? Everyone peeked their heads out and gasped when they saw all of the destruction around Vibe City, including wrecked buildings, Trolls either getting up from the ground or hanging onto high ledges for dear life, not wanting to fall, and debris everywhere on the ground. Everyone gulped in nervousness when they saw the damage, making Aggie say, "Oh golly," while Branch said, "Yeah, you said it."

Back inside the Funk castle, everyone started to tell the Funk King and Queen what had happened, but everyone was talking all at once, and it was hard to get a clear answer. So, Quincy let out a shrill whistle that made everyone become quiet and straighten up, as Essence asked firmly, "Now, who's idea was it to go to the controls room and take the spaceship out for a midnight flight"? No one had the courage to speak up, except for Cooper, who felt bad for the issue because it was all his idea. If he hadn't suggested wanting to see the controls room, he wouldn't have pressed that button and caused all that flying trouble in the first place. He felt like he had let everyone down, he let his friends down, and he especially let his parents down. So, Cooper stepped in front of everyone and said, "Don't blame my friends, mom, and dad, and especially don't blame my brother; it was my idea. I just wanted to go see the controls room and I pressed the button and pulled the levers that made it move. I'm really sorry," and looked down sadly. Cooper suddenly felt someone approach him and saw Prince D stand next to him, saying, "cooper, you shouldn't have to take the blame; I was the one who opened the door. I was the one who took you guys to see it, so if anyone deserves blame, it's me." McJagger then stood beside Prince D, saying, "If that's true, then I deserve partial blame for the incident too, for coming along and helping you show everyone the controls room. I'm sorry, Essence and Quincy," and both boys hung their heads down in sadness with Cooper. Branch then hung his head low, saying, "We're sorry too," as Minuet added while she joined in, "We truly didn't mean to cause any of this to happen." Laguna hung her head low while saying, "Sorry, your Majesties," as Aggie added while joining in, "Sorry, Aunt Essence and Uncle Quincy." All 7 Trolls looked down in shame, awaiting what they thought was gonna be some harsh words from both Funk leaders, but then, Quincy and Essence both smiled and did something no one expected them to do: laugh.

Everyone quickly looked up in confusion, with Cooper asking, "They're...laughing? Is this some sort of...punishment or what," as Aggie added, "Why are they laughing? I thought they were mad at us." Soon, Quincy was the first top laughing and say, wiping a story laughing tear that emitted from his eye, "Well, seeing you all in that situation reminded me of the time Essence slept over with me in the Funk castle back when I was a prince and we were dating each other." Essence added, "Like you guys, one night, we too also snuck out to see the controls room of Vibe City so we could see how the former drove the ship. And Q thought that it'd be cool to try and drive it himself, but it didn't exactly work as well and we got caught going at supersonic speed, doing loop-de-loops, and even missed a very narrow nosedive into the creek." Now, everyone was struggling to hold back their laughter, as Minuet asked, "You actually almost nosedived into a creek," as Quincy answered, "Yeah, and we luckily just missed it when my parents "pulled the plug" on our little "trip." Essence then said, "Q and I luckily didn't get into trouble, though we did help in some of the repairs in Vibe City to make up for everything." Quincy then said, "So, no, we're not mad at any of you, because we expected a scenario like this to happen soon, but we just didn't know when exactly." Essence then added, "And it's truly heartwarming to see that Cooper was a part of this moment too," as Cooper, feeling hopeful, smiled and said, "Really? You guys aren't mad, even though I messed up," as Quincy said while placing a paw on his shoulder, "Not at all, Cooper. Every Troll makes mistakes sometimes, and that's ok, especially since you just wanted to see something that was a part of our Funk ship. We know you and your friends, and your brother was just curious and wanted to see. Though, now you know why Essence and I are the only Trolls allowed to drive it." Cooper nodded and said, "Yeah, the dashboard was very confusing, almost as confusing as the time I got lost in a maze and didn't get out till 5 days later." Everyone in the room laughed as Prince D approached Essence and hugged her, saying, "Sorry again about everything, mom," as Essence hugged the young prince close to her, saying, "It's ok, Prince D," Quincy and Cooper joined in on the hug session too, making Aggie, Minuet, McJagger, Laguna, and Branch smile and say, "Awwww," until they looked up and saw Quincy and Essence look up and motion them to join in.

Aggie, Branch, McJagger, Laguna, and Minuet all joined in as everyone was brought into a warm group hug that would've lasted a little longer if not for a crash sound outside, due to another sign falling onto the ground, that made everyone realize there was still the damage from the ship's "flight" to be dealt with, as McJagger commented, "Oh yeah, we still got the damages to deal with." Quincy first started to say, "It's ok, guys, Essence and I can handle fixing things-," before Aggie said, "No, let us help you, Aunt Essence and Uncle Quincy. It was our fault that this happened, and we want to help fix things as our way of making up for it." Essence and Quincy looked at one another before Essence stated, "Well, if you all do want to help, it would definitely help get Vibe City fixed up like new a lot more quickly, so, sure, you guys can help out." With that, everyone returned outside to help do some of the repairs around the city. McJagger helped tend to some of the Funk Trolls that got hurt during the shaky ship flight, Aggie and Minuet helped hang some of the signs that fell and didn't break, while Cooper and Prince D glued together some of the broken signs together so they could be rehung, Branch helped Quincy with repairing the holes that were in some of the buildings, and Essence and Laguna were gathering the bricks, wood, and other supplies needed to conduct the repairs, and in no time at all, the whole city was fixed in no time, as if nothing had ever happened in the first place. Essence was finishing up painting a park bench, saying, "And that's the last of it; Vibe city is officially repaired," while Quincy added as he was tightening a bolt on a fire hydrant, "Yep, and done in under an hour too. Thank you guys for helping us-," but stopped when he and Essence turned their heads and saw an adorable sight. All 7 Trolls were curled up on the grass...and had fallen asleep, tired from all the craziness that went down tonight and from helping with the repairs. Cooper was sleeping beside Prince D, McJagger was on his back while Laguna laid her head on his stomach, as if it was a pillow, Minuet and Aggie were sleeping upright while sitting, with their backs touching each other, and Branch was asleep belly-first on Cooper's back.

Both Funk leaders approached the sleeping Trolls, with Essence whispering, "Looks like everyone worked so hard, they tired themselves out," as they both chuckled before Quincy whispered, "Let's bring them inside so they can sleep." Together, they picked up all 7 Trolls (carrying two each on their backs, while Quincy held two Trolls in his arms as Essence carried one), and they brought them slowly inside without disturbing their slumber. Once they made it to the castle, safely and quietly inside, they went to Prince D's bedroom and laid all of the guests on their sleeping bags while Essence tucked Prince D into his bed. Everyone was softly snoring, sleeping like a rock, as both Funk leaders tiptoed out of the room and shut the lights, closing the door gently behind them. In the bedroom, all 7 Trolls were found asleep, dreaming about the crazy sleepover adventure that they had, and would certainly not forget for a very long time.
