Fancy Classical Reunion
It was a bright and sunny morning in Trollstopia, as Dante was emerging from his bed, yawning while saying, "Huzzah! Another glorious morning in Trollstopia filled with unlimited possibilities"! Dante flew out of his bed and changed out of his pajamas, placing on his fancy composer's jacket, before fluttering over to his briefcase and pulling out his baton. Dante inspected it to make sure it was still in prime condition, smiling happily, before placing the baton in his sleeve, so it would be at the ready to be used. Suddenly, a delivery bug flew into his house, dropping off a fancy letter for Dante. The Classical ambassador was curious as to what the letter could be about, as he reached over to grab it and saw the address it came from, making him smile and say, "Oh my, it came from the fancy Symphonyville School of Arts and Music"! When Dante opened the letter, dozens of small, but harmonized note bugs flew out, singing a very beautiful Classical Tune, before suddenly, a male Classical Troll in a black-and-white tuxedo came out, bowing at Dante before saying, "I'll take this envelope to the refuse, sire." Dante took out the letter inside of the envelope before giving the envelope to the butler, who flew out of Dante's house. At the same time this was happening, Aggie, who had decided to pop in and visit Dante, saw the butler leave and asked Dante, "Uh, Dante, what was that all about"? Dante, who was reading the letter, looked up at Aggie, grinning while saying, "Oh, Master Aggie, I come bearing exciting news! I have been cordially invited to attend my class's school reunion"! Aggie was both excited for Dante, and confused as well, answering, "That's awesome, Dante! Though, what school are you talking about"? Dante chuckled, saying, "Only the best school in all of Symphonyville: the Symphonyville School for Arts and Music! Our mascot was a Classical Troll that painting with his feet while playing the violin, to motivate us to strive for amazing things"! Aggie was impressed, commenting, "Wow, that sure sounds like fun! I'll bet that you are looking forward to meeting up with your old classmates and seeing how they've been." Dante nodded, replying, "Oh yes, I am! The School for Arts and Music was where I have discovered my love for composing and conducting, where I strived to become the best composer of music ever, just like Maestro Tollzart. i have made so many memories at that school, and have learned so much there; it'll certainly be a fun trip down, what is called "memory lane" as the commonfolk say." Dante chuckled before saying, "But, I do have one problem in relation to this: if I know the Trolls that attended this school as well as I do, they'll most likely all have someone as an escort at the reunion."
Aggie, confused, asked, "What's wrong with having an escort," as Dante answered, "Nothing is wrong with it, I just need to find someone to be my escort for the event. I, unfortunately, can't ask Minuet, because she's busy wit her 48 hour rehearsal session on the bass cello, and the violin, and she can't be disrupted at any cost." Dante then got an idea, asking Aggie, "Say, are you by chance busy at the moment"? Aggie thought about it before saying, "Let me look at my schedule," and pulled out a small notepad where she had her schedules written out, so she could keep up to date about her music teaching lessons. On the paper that talked about today, she saw that she had full back-to-back lessons to give: one to the Pop Trolls about Funk music, and one to the Funk Trolls about Pop music. When Aggie saw what was on her schedule, she looked up at Dante, saying, "Sorry, Dante, I have to conduct my music teachings today, and I have back-to-back lessons to give. Maybe there's another Troll that would be happy to go with you to this school reunion." Dante answered, "I hope so. I most certainly don't want to show up at the reunion party without an escort. Some of the Classical Trolls who attended the school are a bit on the high society side, so they can be pretty stiffy and judgemental, and I certainly don't want to leave a bad impression on them. I must be off, Aggie, to find someone to be my escort, too-del-loo," before flying out of his house, with Aggie watching. Over in Trollstopia, Dante flew around, looking for someone that he could ask to come join him in attending his school reunion, as he said, "Hmmmmm, who seems most suited to ask"? Dante then saw Poppy looking over a clipboard, and flew over to her, commenting, "Poppy, what a delight to see you! Say, would you mind if I asked a favor of you"? Poppy looked up from her clipboard, saying, "Sure, Dante! Always happy to help a friend! What's up"? Dante then answered while showing Poppy his invite, "I was invited to my school's class reunion party in Symphonyville, and I need someone to go with. Would you be willing to attend the party with me"? Poppy first started to say, "Ooh, I'd love to Dante," before saying in concern, "But unfortunately, I can't. Branch and I have to go over these immense party details, so we're gonna be busy all day. Maybe there's someone else you could ask that might not be busy." Dante replied back, "Ok, Poppy, thank you," before he went to go ask someone else. However, anyone he seemed to ask was also busy with some sort of activity for the day, and it made things seem hopeless.
Asking Montage
"Sorry Dante, I'm taking Tiny and the Junior Troll Rangers to the bouncing shrooms today," replied Guy Diamond, who had on his sash and was talking to Dante while a group of kids, who were the Troll Rangers, watched, as Keith shouted, "Is it time to go yet"?!
"We'd love to, Dante, but unfortunately, we got a mega-crazy problem," answered Rhythm, while Blues added, "The ship engine's down and we're trying to fix it, but it isn't looking too good," as she pointed to the open engine, which sputtered and coughed glitter grease clouds.
"Sorry, Dante. I'd love to come, especially to show off some of my Classical guitar playing to your friends, but Val's got a huge concert, and as her manager, I have to make sure she's performance-ready," commented Demo, who was helping to move some speakers.
"I wish I could, Dante, but I had to pick two extra shifts at the salon today because Maddy isn't feeling well. So, I'm gonna be really busy," said Melody, who was heading to the salon, carrying her stylist case.
"Ay ken't, unfortunately, Dante. There's ayy swarm ov hungry mealworms on the loose, ayn' all ov us Country Trolls got ta get all our crops in the storage shed befawe they ken get their grubby mouths on it, includn' me," answered Holly, who was pushing a wheelbarrow of fruits and vegetables towards the storage.
End of asking montage
Dante sighed sadly, sitting on a rock while saying, "It's useless; no one is able to come with me. I guess I'm gonna have to go to that party alone, and while it's not that bad to attend by yourself, it'd be quite lonely." Suddenly, he heard someone singing and looked up, spotting Stereo coming from Techno Lagoon, scatting an awesome beat she heard from the rave that was going on underwater, when she saw Dante looking at her and smiled excitedly, saying, "Hey, Dante! My Classical brother from another mother"! Dante, confused, commented, "Huh? But we aren't actually brothers, or at least, I am not your brother," as Stereo chuckled, saying, "I know, I'm just real *imitates airhorn noises* to see ya! How's it hanging? What's the buzz"? Dante felt a little bit overwhelmed by Stereo's excess energy, but seeing that she was the one starting up a conversation with him and that she was a fellow acquaintance of him, Dante felt like he could talk to her, saying, "Well, actually, the "buzz" as you say, is that I'm not feeling so good." Stereo saw how sad the Classical ambassador was and commented, "Aw, don't feel blue, yo. Tell ya what: why don't we head ta the cafe for some hot tea, and you can tell me what's on your mind." Dante was ready to say something in reply when he stopped, almost shocked of what he just heard, reiterating, "Wait, did you say we go get some...tea"? Stereo nodded, saying, "Yeah, I did. You like tea, right? Isn't that what the Classical Trolls drink"? Dante was surprised to hear Stereo, one of the few Trolls he expected to even KNOW of some sense in high-society culture, as he replied while stunned, "Yes...I do. Sure, I'd love to go get some tea." With that, the two Trolls headed into town together. By the Trollstopia cafe, the pair were sitting at a table, sipping on tea together, with their pinkies stuck out of course, as Dante, who commented hile impressed, "My, my, Stereo, I did not know you could be so well-mannered! Where did you even learn to stick your pinky out like that"? Stereo answered, "Well, truth is, a while back after I first came to Trollstopia, I wanted to get to know some of the other Trolls, and I came across your friend Minuet, who invited me to join her for tea and pasteries. I took her up on her offer, and she taught me how to raise my pinky when I drink tes, and ever since, it's stuck with me."
Dante gasped in amazement, saying, "I didn't know you were a fan of tea, yourself. I figured you'd be more of a "party punch" kind of Troll," as Stereo chuckled, saying, "I do like party punch, but tea itself is quite delicious too! Flavorless, yet it partakes to a unique and pleasant aroma that soothes the nerves of those who are overexcited, and provides a calming sensation once consumed. And you know what I like to do for fun when I'm drinking tea? Sometimes, I even pretend to speak high-class, like you and Minuet do, to see if I could pass on as being fancy." Stereo then cleared her throat and mimicked a perfect, and fluent, British accent, saying, "Does this tea not smell pleasant ta ya? I feel as if it really calms thy nerves and brings a sense of serenity to thy soul." Dante was truly impressed, clapping his hands while laughing, saying, "Oh my, Stereo! I didn't know you could act this fancy, it's quite impressive"! Suddenly, Dante got a great idea, as he asked, "Say, Stereo, are you by chance busy at all today"? Stereo shook her head, saying, "Nope, not at all. Trollex and Synth are visiting the Reef to handle some royal business, so I'm here and fr-fr-fr-fr-free-ee"! Dante became giddy, saying, "Splendid! See, I was invited to attend my school's reunion party today, and I wanted someone to be my escort and join me in attending, but everyone I knew of well was busy today. But if you're not busy, would you like to join me"? Stereo sat up excitedly, commenting, "f course, DC! I'd love to come with ya; this party's gonna be so *imitates airhorn noises*"! When Dante saw how Stereo responded, he then said, "ooh, and perhaps to make it sound more fun, when we go, would it be alright if you could, I don't know, speak with that fancy accent of yours? It would provide of excellent practice." Stereo giggled and answered, "You're funny, Dante. Though you do make a good point. I don't usually speak with an accent, but I'll try anything new that seems like fun! I can't wait to party till dawn, yo"! Dante couldn't help but feel excited about attending this school reunion, as he commented, "Splendid! So, why don't we get, as they say "gussied up" and meet by the hot air balloon at 2pm sharp"? Stereo nodded, saying, "You got it, bro! See ya then," and both Trolls soon got up and went to get ready.
At Dante's house, Dante was trying on his fanciest suit, which was a simple black shirt undershirt, a white long sleeve shirt over it, with a dark blue composer's jacket, black pants, and shiny black dress shoes. He adjusted the cuffs on his sleeves before placing his baton in its special briefcase holder and flew out, heading towards Sheila the balloon, when he almost ran into Branch, who looked up, seeing how fancy Dante looked, as he commented, "Wow, Dante, looking sharp"! Dante chuckled proudly, saying, "Thank you, Branch. Tis nothing too fancy, just something formal for the reunion I'm heading to." Branch, hearing this, mentioned, "Oh yeah, Poppy was telling me about that; were you able to find someone who wants to go with you"? Dante answered, "Yes, for surprisingly, I ended up asking Stereo, and she graciously volunteered to be my escort." When Branch heard that he was going with Stereo, he raised an eyebrow, asking, "Wait, you're going with Stereo? Does she know that this is a fancy event"? Dante nodded, answering, "Yes, I have informed her on that. Why do you sound so confused"? Branch answered, "Well, because from what I've heard from Synth, she's just like him: a wild party animal, and loves to turn a party up and make it big, loud, and exciting. I'm just hesitant that she might try to act like that at your school reunion." Dante then commented, "Well, I'm sure she understands the difference between a regular party and a fancy social event such as this," before flashbacking to how Stereo reacted when she replied to Dante's offer of attending the reunion with him. The way she had jumped up like that, her energy displaying, Dante couldn't help but worry that Branch did make a fair point about being unsure if Stereo truly knew about how this kind of party was gonna be like. Seeing the concerned look on Dante's face, Branch commented, "Well, just in case, I recommend talking to her about it and letting her know about what kind of party your school reunion will be like, so she's aware. I got to get going, but I hope you and Stereo have fun at that party," before taking his leave to meet up with Poppy. As Dante continued to head towards the hot air balloon, he commented to himself, "Ok, just to be safe, I'll talk to Stereo on the balloon ride over, and give her the rundown on how to properly behave at a high-class social event." Soon, he arrived at the area where Sheila, the hot air balloon was, as Sheila looked down at Dante, commenting, "Hey there, man! Where are a going today"? Dante answered, "To Symphonyville please, but I'm waiting for an acquaintance first." Dante looked at his Hug watch, which said 1:59 pm before it soon changed and said 2 pm, and on cue, he heard Stereo's voice shout, "Here I am, Dante"! Dante smiled, looking up while saying, "Perfect timing, Ste-," before he gasped in awe at the fancy dress the glittery Techno Troll was wearing. It was a simple purple long sleeve dress with golden trimmings, red ruby sequins around the waistline of the dress, and a hem cut by her knees, and the Techno's cyan blue hair was up in a fancy bun, with a bit of her hair parted over her face to resemble wavy bangs.
Dante was speechless! Stereo looked like she could easily fit into any high-class event as Stereo spun around, saying, "I hope it isn't too much. Since we're going to Symphonyville, I thought I'd do a lil' extra fancy to make a good impression on the other Classical Trolls. Satin helped with the dress while Chenille did my hair." Dante happily commented, "Wow, with an ensemble like this, you could easily resemble the belle of the ball," as Stereo giggled, saying, "Bells don't go off at balls, Dante, or at least not until midnight. Anyways, I'm glad you like it. I sent a photo fo my appearance to Synth to see how he likes it." On cue, a delivery bug flew in and dropped off an envelope at Stereo, who opened it and pulled out what looked like a photo, which made her laugh. Dante noticed the photo and saw Synth blushing so hard, his entire body was glowing pink, his heart was beating really fast, and his eyes were in heart shapes, making Dante comment, "I will assume Synth likes what he saw." Stereo blushed from seeing Synth's reaction in the photo, adding, "I guess so. So, are we ready to go"? Dante nodded as both Trolls entered Sheila before the balloon started to rise, saying, "Buckle up, every Troll"! While Sheila flew through the sky, carrying the Trolls on the hot air balloon, Stereo excitedly looked down below at the ground, commenting, "Wow, yo! You can see everything from up here! The animals look like little figurines, and the Trolls look like ants! Is this what you see all the time when you fly, Dante"? Dante answered, "More or less, although we don't fly this high unless we have to." Stereo chuckled, saying, "Man, I can see why my future sis-in-law loves to fly too! It's so *imitates airhorn noises*"! When Dante saw Stereo doing the airhorn jig again, it reminded him of his intended talk with her, making him ask, "Um, Stereo, mind if I...talk to you about something important"? Stereo turned around to face Dante, saying, "Sure, DC! What do you want to talk about"? Dante nervously fiddled his fingers, saying, "Well...you do understand what kind of event this school reunion is, right"? Stereo nodded, replying, "Of course, yo, it's a party! Cake, music, dancing, what else could it be"? Dante gulped in hesitation before he calmly said, "Well, yes, there will be cake, and music, and dancing, but it may not be as how you might think it is. See, Classical Trolls tend to party in a more civilized manner, where we conduct in a lot of chatter, and the music isn't as "enriching" as the Techno music you usually listen to." Stereo seemed to understand what Dante was saying, smiling as she said, "Yeah, I know what you mean, Dante. I've seen your formal get-togethers at Classical Crest, so I have the basic rundown of how a Classical party work, even in a fancy school."
Dante felt a bit relieved that his message seemed to be getting to her, as he commented, "Wonderful, so tonight will definitely be a memorable night. Though I do want to recommend you try to contain a bit of your partying energy, Stereo, when we are intermingling with the guests. Because while I am used to it, along with the other Classical Trolls back in Trollstopia, the ones here might not be, and they might get startled or scared by accident if they see you as your "vibrant" self." Stereo gasped in shock, saying, "Oh my Troll, you're right, Dante! I definitely don't want to scare any of the other Trolls by accident, and I especially don't want to make it look like I'm leaving a bad impression on you, or the other Trolls! Don't worry, I'll make sure to contain my energy during the party. I'll be more civilized than a robotic librarian, except unlike robots, they can't speak in high-brow humor." Dante and Stereo both chuckled at the joke, as Dante couldn't help but now feel excited about the school reunion, and hoped that everything was gonna go right with no trouble. A little while later, the balloon finally landed on a small hill in Symphonyville, letting Dante and Stereo climb out. Since this was Stereo's first time in Symphonyville, the sight of the beautiful home of the Classical Trolls had her in awe, as she commented, "Wow! This is-," before she noticed her energy was about to burst again, so she cleared her throat, and spoke in the fancy accent she did earlier, saying, "Most elegant. I say this is truly a wonder to behold, Dante." Dante inhaled the air before exhaling slowly, saying, "Yep, feels good to be home. Shalle we? I'll show you where the school is." Stereo nodded and followed Dante, who led her through the area while also pointing out some of the buildings, showing her around. Soon, the pair approached a very tall tower-like building that was gold and had glittery gold trimming designs on it, and open windows that were shaped like 4/4 music notes/ The door, which was a hole shaped like a harp, was already open, and the building had a large sign that said, in silvery glittery letters "Symphonyville School for Arts and Music". As the pair walked inside, they immediately entered the hallways and entered what looked like a large, massive dining room. The walls were a crystal pearl white, the floor was shiny with silver tiles, and had a big blue square carpet in the middle, while candles were lit on the walls, producing light so the room could be illuminated. There was a stage in the back where a small orchestra was playing Classical music, tables for the guests to sit and eat food, a long table with a huge array of different appetizers, meals, and even a dessert section for Trolls to pick from and eat, and all of the guests were currently up and on the floor, standing around and chatting with the other Trolls around them.
Stereo looked around in awe as Dante then said, "Let's go in," as Stereo replied, in her accent, "Yes. I am excited to meet some of your fellow peers." They both walked into the doom and approached a table, where three Classical Trolls were talking to each other and drinking tea from shiny glass teacups, as Dante happily said, "Jean-Paul, Sean Paul, and Anne Marie"! The two male Classical Trolls, who were wearing matching black tuxedos (Jean had white hair, and Sean and light blue hair), and the female Classical Troll, who was wearing a pink dress (Anne had light purple hair), turned around at the sound of Dante's voice and saw the Classical ambassador smiling at them. they all flew up and cheered, as the Classical Trolls did, with Jean-Paul approaching Dante first while saying, "Dante! It has been far too long since we have seen each other, old chap," while Sean Paul added as he flew next to Jean-Paul, "Tis true, for our last encounter was merely 4 months, 3 weeks, 2 days, and 5 hours ago." Anne Marie added while she flew next to both boys, "Tis exciting that we all get to meet up together like this! I so miss the days back when we attended this school." Dante chuckled, saying, "I know. Remember when we all learning about sheet composition and the teacher accidentally mixed up the pages of the sheet music"? All four Classical Trolls broke into a heartfelt chuckle, with Jen Paul saying, "We ended up playing the most odd-sounding symphony by accident." Date then said, "Fellow former classmates, allow me to introduce to you a friend of mine I brought along with me: Ms. Stereo, the happy partner of the Techno ambassador, Synth, that I've mentioned to you in my letters from Trollstopia." Stereo bowed at the Classical Trolls, saying, "Enchante, this an honor to meet you. I proudly come from Techno Reef and am a fine lover of music and entertainment." Dante then introduced Stereo to each of his friends, starting with Jean-Paul, as he said, "This is Jean-Paul, one of my closest acquaintances. He runs a clarinet shop that provides instruments for all of Symphonyville's newest generation Trolls who've yet to find the right instrument for them." Jean-Paul bowed while saying, "I feel as if what I do in this world gives happiness to others, then it is worth doing for the rest of my life." Dante then introduced her to Sean-Paul, saying, "And this is Sean-Paul. Don't let the similarity in names fool you, he and Jean-Paul are not brothers, though we often liked to joke around that they were. Sean-Paul is one of the smartest Classical Trolls in the school, and has loved the learning programs so much, he's become a teacher here upon graduation." Sean-Paul commented, "Yes, for my love of knowledge and teaching has allowed me to be able to help develop and lead the future minds of tomorrow, showing them the way of Classical life."
Dante then introduced Stereo to Anne Marie, saying, "And this is Anne Marie, the granddaughter of Harpicus Anne, and Eda Marie, otherwise known as the Flying Harpswomen." Anne Marie bowed at Stereo, saying, "I too practice the harp, but I also am quite talented on the violin, aiming to one day master every song ever known on it." Stereo then commented, "You three are truly amazing, for I can tell you all share a unique bond that divulges such an intact and meaningful friendship that, as I can see, will most likely last for the rest of your life." The Classical Trolls seemed really impressed, with Anne Marie commenting, "Such a sophisticated way with words," while Sean-Paul commented, "And staying true to the heart as well"! Dante happily commented, "Well, Stereo has always known to be such a caring friend, and a masterful wordsTroll. Her husband, Synth, always seems to fall for every comment she gives him." Jean-Paul then asked, "Say, we were about to go get ourselves some fizzy punch. would you both perhaps like a glass as well"? Dante replied, "That would be very kind of you," while Stereo added, in her accent, "Yes please." As the trio of Classical Trolls went to go get Dante and Stereo their drinks, Dante whispered, "Wow, Stereo, you seem to be making quite the impression on everyone." Stereo added, "Yeah, and this party is pretty nice. Though it does feel a bit stiff, if I'm being honest." Dante replied, "These parties have always been known to be a bit on the stiff side, but you'll get used to it. Besides, we're having fun, right"? Stereo nodded, saying, "Yeah, I'm having fun. Thanks again for inviting me to come with you, Dante. You know, I got to say, I didn't think you'd even invite me to something like this. I didn't think we were close friends." Dante was a bit surprised but understood what Stereo meant since they both hadn't had much of a moment to bond as friends like she has with other Trolls, as he said, "Well, I guess this is the first moment we finally get to connect as friends, and you know, you're a very nice Troll to be friends with, Stereo." Stereo smiled and replied, "Thanks, and Synth says that you're an awesome Troll to be friends with too. I hope that we'll soon get to be as close as we are to our other friends." Later on, Dante and Stereo, with their drinks in hand, were with the trio and the other party guests, listening to the orchestra perform a piece, and once they were done, the audience applauded in gratitude. Then, the orchestra started up another song, as Stereo soon saw a microphone on the stage and got an idea. She gave her drink to Dante, who held it while looking at Stereo curiously, wondering what she had in mind.
Stereo walked over to the Classical Troll that was playing the violin and whispered something into her ear, making her nod and then raise her bow up, making the orchestra start. She then whispered to them what Stereo had whispered to her, making the orchestra smile and start to play a brand new song. Meanwhile, Stereo climbed up onto the stage, grabbed the microphone, placed it into a mic stand so it was in place, and waited for the beginning of the music to stop, and she started to sing while the xylophone player added some gentle Classical beats behind her. As Stereo sang, her imagination wandered and she envisioned her husband, Synth, on the DJ set next to her, playing Techno music to go with the Classical music, hearing the Techno music playing in her mind while she sang. Meanwhile, back in reality, all of the Classical Trolls, especially Dante, watched Stereo singing as if she was singing a Classical aria, and they all seemed impressed. Meanwhile, in Stereo's mind, not only was the Techno music still playing with the orchestra, but the audience was all dancing and waving glowsticks around as she floated around her husband while Dante, in the audience, led a dance group, raving to the song.

Stereo: Ooh, oh-oh!
We're a thousand miles from comfort! We have travelled land and sea! But as long as you are with me, there's no place I'd rather be!
I would wait for forever! Exalted in the scene! As long as I am with you, my heart continues to beat!
With every step we take, a single move we make, strollin' so causally! We're different, and the same, gave you another name! Switch up the batteries!
If you gave me a chance, I would take it! It's a shot in the dark, but I'll make it! Know with all of your heart, you can't shake me! When I am with you, there's no place I'd rather be!
N-n-no, no, no, no place I'd rather be! N-no, no, no, no place I'd rather be! N-n-no, no, no, no place I'd rather be (Oh!)!
We staked out on a mission, to find our inner peace! Make it everlasting, so nothing's incomplete! It's easy being with you; sacred simplicity! As long as we're together, there's no place I'd rather be!
With every step we take, a single move we make, strollin' so casually!
When I am with you, there's no place I'd rather be, yeah!
Be (Oh)! Be, be, be, be, be, be, be, be, be! Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!
When I am with you, there's no place I'd rather be, yeah!
Back in reality, the orchestra had finished playing the music at the exact moment Stereo finished singing the last line of the song, as the audience all applauded her. Stereo looked out at the audience and bowed in appreciation, as Sean-Paul commented, "Wow, Dante, your friend is such a talented singer"! Dante commented, "Well, she does like to sing in her free time, especially with her husband." Stereo soon exited the stage as Dante approached her, saying, "Stereo, that was really impressive! I got to say, I was a little nervous at first when you went up onto the stage to sing because-," before Stereo interrupted him by saying with a smile, and in her normal voice, "Because ya thought my energy was gonna come out when I sang"? When Dante nodded in reply, she added, in her normal voice, "Don't worry, you got nothing to worry about. I told you I was gonna keep my energy in, and I'm doing that. I'm keeping things cool and calm in this glittery cucumber, simple and civilized, just you and the other Classical Trolls." Dante then said, "Thank you, Stereo." Suddenly, everyone heard someone else approach the stage, as Dante saw who it was and gasped excitedly, saying, "It's Head Mistress Viola"! Stereo, confused, asked in her normal voice, "Who is she," as Dante answered, "She's the Troll that runs the school single-handedly! She was the principal during my time as a student here, and a very excellent one too! she always made sure that every Troll followed the rules and never let any tom-foolery pass, not that any tom-foolery was to occur since we all were very well-behaved. I always came by her office with flowers and volunteered to help around when I had any free time. She was the one that recommended me to Trollzart when he was looking for someone to be his composer." Stereo thought that fact was incredible, saying in her normal voice, "Wow, you're so lucky, Dante." Back on the stage, Head Mistress Viola, who was wearing a red business suit-themed dress with brass buttons, and had curly light yellow hair, flew to the microphone, saying, "Thank you all for attending tonight's reunion party. It is truly a blessing to see so many of our previous students here after sucha long period of time. Feel free to indulge yourself in the music, try our fine dining table, and don't forget about ballroom dancing, which will begin soon. In the mean time, have fun."
Meanwhile, after Head Mistress Viola had finished her speech and flew off the stage, Dante and Stereo saw Dante's trio of classmates show up, with Jean-Paul saying, "Dante, Stereo, there we are. We wanted to invite you to our table; we're currently indulging in a rich and deep conversation. Care to join us"? Stereo nodded and replied, in her accent, "Of course we'd love to join," while Dante said, "Goody! I love a good enriching conversation"! Over at the table, all 5 Trolls have taken their seats, sipping on their glasses of fizzy punch, as Sean-Paul was telling the little group a story about an old memory from during the days he was in school, saying, "and then, I ended up taking out my Historical Composition textbook, and only in class later do I remember that I actually needed my Classical Note Identification textbook"! Everyone laughed about how funny the story's ending was, as Anne Marie commented, "That was quite fascinating; it truly does hit you in the "feels" as they say. Reminds me of the time I left my harp at home, and right before the harp exam too. I felt so embarrassed and had to find a way to rush home, get it, and sneak back into the school long before anyone could notice I had gone missing." Stereo was listening to the story in great interest, surprisingly finding it fun while Dante was...somehow not as interested. It wasn't that he didn't want to be interested, but somehow, just listening to the story, it made the mood of the party feel, dare he say...boring. Dante muttered, "Why do I not feel as enriched in this as I usually do? I normally love to engage in conversation and long debates as such. I must find a way to liven things up a bit, but how"? He looked over at Stereo, who was listening to the story, and got an idea, thinking she could maybe tell a story of her own to bring the mood of the party up a bit for him and make it feel interesting again. With an idea in mind, Dante rose his hand up, saying, "Quite a fascinating story, Anne Marie! You know, Stereo is always full of amazing stories to tell as well. Stereo, perhaps you could enrich this conversation with a tale of your own"? Stereo was a bit surprised, asking in her accent, "I don't know, would any of your friends really want to hear a story from me"? Jean-Paul first answered, "Indeed we would," while Sean-Paul added, "We'd love to hear one from you and learn a little more about you," while Anne Marrie mentioned, "I bet you'd tell a beautiful story." Hearing the encouragement from them, Stereo smiled and began to think of a story to tell while Dante, in his mind, thought Perfect! If Stereo tells a story, it'll get her to unleash some of her overexcited energy and make this party feel thrilling and exciting again! Though I still don't get why I suddenly seem to lack as much interest as I had before. The arty was fun in the beginning, getting to talk to my old friends, listen to good music, what's not to like or to not be interested about? Hopefully, this will get the metronome swinging again and the feeling of happiness and intrigue will return.
Meanwhile, Stereo started to say, in her accent, "One time, I was helping Synth with collecting a series of little discs we call back home, records, for a song list he was planning when we came across a record that he did not seem to recognize. It turned out to be a different record, but we both did not seem to have any idea who it belonged to, and the cover of the record holder did not seem to give us any clues as to which Troll could possibly possess it. So, we had to spend a good while figuring things out ourselves, pondering on and on-," but while Stereo told the story, Dante could tell that she was making the story sound just as if another Classical Troll was telling it: straight, concise, and very detailed. Dante couldn't believe that she was telling a story in this way, when she originally expected her to drop the accent and start speaking like normal, rambling on and on in various fun tangents that made no sense to the actual point of the story, but at least made it interesting. As Dante tried to listen in, growing more bored by the minute, soon, stomachs were rumbling, in C major, which prompted the group to decide on getting some food to eat. Dante was serving himself some little cream puffs as he saw Stereo serving herself little puff pastries, and accepting a cup of tea, saying, "Thank you kindly, sir." Dante decided to go ask Stereo what was going on, but before he could ask, Stereo whispered to him, saying, "Dante, you were definitely right about this kind of party; once I got used to it, it actually turned out to be more fun than I imagined. Telling fun stories in full detail, enjoying these little pastries and tea, hearing beautiful orchestra music, it's amazing! I can see why you like this so much," as Dante nervously chuckled, forcing a smile while saying, hiding the sarcasm in his voice, "Yes, I enjoy it so much." Back at the table, the group dined and exchanged high-class jokes that were really funny to them...well, most of them anyway. Dante was the only Troll who didn't seem to be having fun, as he used his fork to gently poke at the food he picked out, while Stereo and his old classmates were sharing a laugh, with Sean-Paul saying, "Ms. Stereo, who knew you had such high-class humor"? Stereo commented, in her accent, "Well, Sean-Paul, when it comes to high-class humor, you certainly don't want to aim "low"," as the group, except Dante, laughed again.
Stereo then took a sip from her cup of tea, saying, "You know, as a lover of tea myself, I am more of a chamomile tea lover, or should I say chamo"meal" tea lover," while gesturing to the plate of food in front of her, making them all laugh again as Jean-Paul then commented, "Dante, your friend here from Trollstopia is simply divine! I am hereby changing her designation to "fun acquaintance" to a "triumph of a pal," with Sean-Paul and Anne Marie adding in unison, "Here here"! Dante quickly perked up, pretending to be interested, saying, "Well, you can say she and I have become quite a pair of pals," as Stereo added, in her accent, "Dante is a most memorable Troll to have as a friend, so wise and poised. My time in Trollstopia got me to meet so many new friends and Trolls that I've grown to keep close to heart, like the g-chord," as the group, except Dante, laughed at how funny the joke was. Dante, however, was growing more bored by the minute, almost wanting to leave the party, which was a feeling he didn't expect to feel because he usually LOVED parties like these, so why now was he feeling bored? It was then that hen he saw how much fun Stereo was having that he realized...Stereo was why! She wasn't causing the boredom, she was what made things not feel boring! He remembered how any time that he was at a party and Stereo was there, things always were so interesting, even if she got a little wild sometimes, but that's what made her, well, her! she loves to party, she loves to burst out with energy, she loves to rave and dance and sing at the top of her lungs and party till dawn! And it was all of those things that made every party he attended with her not feel boring! He does enjoy the high-class socialization, but even he had to agree: it can get boring every now and then, and this was why he liked to go to parties where it wasn't high-class sometimes because at least he got to have fun! That was something he's learned to do in Trollstopia since he came: have fun! He wanted to have fun, and now, he needed to get Stereo to have fun, and if he could get her to have fun, her energetic side could come out, and she could raise the roof of this reunion party! With this realization in mind, Dante muttered to himself, "My Troll, what have I done? I turned Stereo into a Techno version of myself! I have to get her to act like herself again, but how"?
Suddenly, everyone in the room heard the music become a bit loud, which signaled it was time for the ballroom dancing, as Jean-Paul commented, "Ooh, it's about to start," as he, Sean-Paul, and Anne Marie got up and flew to the dancefloor, with Dante and Stereo watching. Every Troll got up and flew over to the dancefloor, partnering up with someone that was nearby and/or next to them. As the music continued to play, courtesy of the orchestra, the Classical Trolls soon held hands with the Troll they partnered up with and started to dance the waltz, circling around and around in perfectly unified coordination. Stereo saw this and smiled, saying in an accent, "Ooh, that looks like a lot of fun! Dante, would you like to dance with me"? Dante suddenly got a great idea thinking That's it! Dance! If I can motivate her to dance with me, the way she loves to, she'll burst out in positive energy and be like herself again! Dante nodded and said, "Sure, Stereo! Let us dance"! Then, Dante started to pump his arms up and down in the air, saying, "Ooh-ooh, let us bring the house down"! He started to dance around like he was...raving..which confused Stereo, as she asked, in her accent, "Uh, Dante, might I ponder on what you are doing exactly"? Dante simply answered, "I'm dancing, of course! Because we should be having fun with the other Trolls and dancing with them of course"! Stereo seemed to get it, saying in her accent, "Oh, of course! Why did I not think of that? Come on," as she then interrupted Dante's attempt to rave dance by grabbing him by the hand and bringing him into the circle as the two soon were doing the waltz together. Dante couldn't believe that his idea didn't even work, not by a long shot! Ad on top of it all, Stereo was the one to encourage him into a ballroom dance when normally, it would've been the other way around! As they continued to dance in perfect synchronization with the other Trolls, Stereo commented, in her accent, "Dante, this is so much fun! I'm having a blast at this party, aren't you"? Dante, however, force a smile and replied nervously, "Oh yes...a lot of fun"! Unfortunately, deep down, Dante wasn't having fun, and secretly, he was close to just losing it. He usually loved to ballroom dance, but now, without the party being as fun as he thought it would be, it just felt...dull. Finally, Dante had enough and separated from Stereo, saying, "I can't take it anymore," and flew out of the room as fast as he could, with Stereo running after him in concern, shouting, "Dante, wait"!
Dante kept flying until he was out of the building, outside under the nighttime sky, catching his breath, as Stereo approached him, speaking normally, saying, "Dante! What happened? Is everything ok"? Dante replied in frustration, "No, everything is not ok! Nothing is ok"! Stereo then looked down worryingly, asking, "I...did something wrong, didn't I"? Dante saw how sad Stereo looked and sighed, saying, "No, you did nothing wrong Stereo, you behaved exactly how I told you to, and that's the problem." Stereo, confused, raised an eyebrow and asked, "Huh, what do you mean? Didn't you want me to be all civilized and keep my energy down? Like everyone else was? I thought I made a good impression on them. I did exactly as you said, and not once did I burst into my energetic self." Dante sighed and replied, "Yes, you did do exactly what I told you too, and that's why I'm upset because honestly...I wanted you to try." Stereo gasped before asking, "You...wanted me to try? But why"? Dante placed his hands behind his back while answering, "Because...I realized that sometimes, you may act as energetic and wild as Synth, but at least you both make a party, or any event fun. When you sing or dance or do what you love to do in the state that you do it, it makes it all the more interesting and fun for me to enjoy. I admit I still love the high-class parties, but, they're not the same if there isn't at least some Troll there trying to make things wild and crazy for all to enjoy, because...that's what makes it fun...for you...and me." Stereo was speechless, saying, "Wow, Dante, I...never knew you felt like that. If anything, Dante, I got to confess, being all fancy-like kind of made me feel a bit uncomfortable. It was actually really hard for me to contain my energy and not burst out like that, but seeing how impressed everyone was with how I was acting, and seeing you look so proud of me for doing everything like you said, I just pushed my feelings down to keep the act up for as long as I could." Dante then flew to Stereo, saying, "I'm sorry I made you act like someone else that you weren't comfortable with, Stereo, and made you submerge your energy and emotions like that. You should do you, and be as positive and energetic and fun-loving as you wnt to be, because that's the way you do it! And...I hope you can forgive me." Stereo was silent for a bit before she smiled, chuckling as she said, "All's good, DC! We're both *imitates airhorn noises*"! Dante and Stereo shard a hug before Dante then said, "Thank you, Stereo, you really are a good friend. Now, let's go back to Trollstopia," as Stereo shouted, "Yeah, and let's have a balloon rave while we're flying home"! Dante gasped in shock, saying, "Stereo," before excitedly pulling out two glowsticks, adding, "That's exactly what I was thinking"! Stereo cheered and pulled put two glowsticks for herself, saying, "Yeah, air travel is the bomb," as the two raved cheered and pumped their arms with the glowsticks in their hands as they headed straight to the balloon to fly back home to Trollstopia.
