Three Trolls and a Baby

The sun was shining on another day in Trollstopia as Melody and Val were walking through the village while Melody was pushing the stroller that held their soon-to-be sibling/cousin that was still in its egg. Val looked at the egg before saying, "When do you think it's going to hatch, Melly"? Melody responded with, "I hope it does soon. I can't handle waiting in suspense any longer on if I'm going to have a baby brother or sister." Soon, they ran into Laguna, who treated them by saying, "Morning, ladies. How is Little Eggy doing"? Val snickered as she said, "It's still an egg, but I think considering the last doctor's appointment we went to, it's going to hatch soon." Melody then said, "Say, Laguna, you want me to show you how to hold it? My mom showed me a couple of weeks ago." Laguna thought about it before saying, "Sure. It'd be interesting for me to have some experience with a troll egg, in case one ever occurs for me in the far future." Melody smiled as she said, "Great. Let's see...uh...ooh! Let's sit by that shady tree," as she pointed to a nearby tree. The trio walked over to it and sat down as Melody carefully picked up the egg from inside the stroller and held it in her arms. Then, she slowly sat on her knees while saying, "Ok, cradle your arms as if you were holding something wrapped in a blanket, raise your left arm a little as if you were supporting its head, and remain calm and cautious." Melody carefully handed the egg to Laguna, who cradled it in her arms. The Techno troll smiled as she said, "Aw, despite still being in its shell, it's kind of cute." Val then said, "Try rocking your arms a little bit, as if you were a basket or rocking chair. The egg likes it, though it's hard to tell sometimes." Laguna slowly moved her arms back and forth, as if her cradle position was a rocking boat, as she said, "Fascinating. I think I've got the hang of it." Melody commented, "Say, you're a natural at this, Laguna."

As the Techno troll slowly continued to rock the egg, Aggie soon came over, saying, "Hi, girls," as the trio said hello back. Aggie saw the egg as she asked, "What's going on," Melody answered, "I'm teaching Laguna how to hold it. You want to give it a go"? Aggie instantly became nervous as she said, "Uh...no, thank you. My arms are kind of sore after helping Holly move some barrels, so I'm a bit...exhausted to hold it." Suddenly, Laguna felt the egg jump a bit as she asked, "Uh, is it normal for it to move around like this"? Val and Melody nodded, with Val saying, "Sometimes, it'll jump or shake like that, but it just means that the troll inside is growing up to be healthy and strong." Aggie then asked excitedly, "I can't wait to see if it's a boy or a girl." Melody then mentioned, 'I'm curious to see if it's going to be a rock troll, a pop troll, or a mixed-species troll like me." Laguna then commented, "Oh yeah. That is a highly plausible theory considering that as the first-born, you are a mixed-species troll. so, it might be likely to occur again." Val then commented, "True, but either way, it's going to be a lively addition to our clan." As Laguna handed the egg back to Melody, who placed it in the stroller, everyone stood up to what sounded like something cracking. They looked in the stroller and found the egg moving and developing a small crack on top. Aggie shouted, "Oh my troll," as Laguna added, "It's starting to hatch"! Melody pointed to Val, saying, "Go get my mom! Quick"! Val ran as fast as she could as this scene caught Poppy's attention, making the pop queen ask, "What's going on"?!

Aggie answered, "Melody's mom's egg is starting to hatch"! Poppy grew excited as she screamed, "Ooh! I've got to see this"! A bunch of the other trolls that they knew caught wind of this and crowded around the shoulder to see what kind of troll was about to hatch. Val soon came running back with Mal, who said, 'I'm here! Melody, how's it's coming along"? Melody pointed to the egg and said, "Look, mom." Everyone watched as a piece of the shell came off, revealing a tiny grayish-blue arm and a hand that made the rock gesture. This made everyone's eye widen in awe as Val said, 'It made a rock gesture, and it's not even fully hatched yet! So adorable,"! Slowly, the egg cracked a little more, making everyone's suspense grow even higher. Finally, the egg cracked completely, and the shells slid off, revealing the new baby troll. It was a cute baby girl who had Mal's eye color and Melody's dark purple nose and shape. She had grayish-blue skin and had a perfect blue shade for her hair, styled in what looked like a low, loose ponytail. And it had light blue highlights in a similar pattern to Melody's. She was wearing a black and red dress with the sleeves ripped and black spiky wristbands on her wrists. On her feet were matching black boots that had red skullbones on the side. The baby even had red ruby earrings on the tips of its pointed ears. The baby looked up and Mal first, who said, 'Hi there, little one. Welcome to the family," as it then looked at Melody, who smiled, saying, "Hi. It's so great to meet you finally." The baby squealed in joy before babbling while making the rock gesture again (For future references, young Evie will be voiced by Ellie Kemper, then Demi Lovato as it gets older), "Wock and woll for life"! Everyone found it adorable as Poppy commented, "Aw! It's a cute rock troll," while Aggie added, "It's so precious"!

Melody picked it up as Laguna asked, "So, I will guess you're naming it Evie"? Melody, Mal, and Val nodded while Evie babbled, "Yeah, baby"! Evie climbed onto the top of Melody's head and shouted, "Oh yeah," which got the crowd in awe and excited about the new baby. Aggie, deep down, really wanted a chance to hold the new baby, but the only problem was...she was way too scared. See, she's always has had a residing fear of holding eggs and young baby trolls because of something that happened a while back while she was still in Harmonious Land, which resulted in a small, but a heart-wrenching accident. Since then, she's always tried to avoid holding eggs and young baby trolls because of that fear. Still, despite that fear residing inside of her, Aggie wanted nothing more than to be able to hold Melody's little sister. Meanwhile, Poppy had her camera out, saying, "Ok, Song Family. Squeeze in, show the cute munchkin some love, and say cheese"! Mal, Val, and Melody, who held Evie, looked at one another before doing rock poses, saying, "Cheese," as Poppy took the picture. It came out, and Poppy gave it to Mal, who said, "It's beautiful, Poppy. Thank you so much." Meanwhile, Melody introduced Evie to her friends, already doing Dante, Low-Note, Rhythm, Blues, McJagger, Poppy, Guy Diamond, and his son, Tiny Diamond, and Branch. she was now introducing her to Holly and Buckaroo, saying, "These are the Country Trolls. The orange one is Holly, the ambassador for the tribe, and next to her is her best friend, Buckaroo. She works as a detective for Lonesome Flats." Holly came up to Evie, saying, "Howdy, sugar. Why aren't ya just the sweetest little thing ay ver did see"? Evie smiled and replied, "I'm not just sweet! I'm hawd cowe"! Buckaroo then tipped her hat, saying, "Ayy pleasure to meet ya, at last, Evie. So, ya like rock music"? Evie nodded and pulled out a small electric guitar and wailed it, saying, "I like all kinds, but wock is my muse"!

Melody then introduced her to Val, saying, "And this is our older cousin, Val Thundershock, who is a tough rock just like you." Evie smiled and said, "Family guitaw smash," as she jumped and slammed her tiny guitaw onto the ground and smashed it, making Melody and Val laugh as the hard rock ambassador commented, "Man, she's going to be a handful once she gets bigger." Melody playfully rolled her eyes while saying, "Well, I've dealt with you for so long, so having a little sister as a rock troll shouldn't be a problem." Evie then pointed over to Laguna, Stereo, and Synth as she asked, "Big sissy, who's the pwetty mewmaids and fish boy"? Val and Melody had to stifle their laughter as Laguna blushed while Synth was a little confused about the fish boy nickname. Melody soon cleared her throat and said, "Okay, first off, I am sorry for Evie calling you fish boy Synth. Second, Evie, those are the Techno Trolls, and third, we don't call them mermaids or fish trolls, not unless they permit you. Understood"? Evie nodded as Melody continued with, "Evie, meet Synth, the ambassador for the Techno Trolls, and his fiancee, Stereo." Synth smiled and gently shook Evie's tiny hands, saying, 'Yo, Evie! It's so great to meet you! You are so cute. It makes our hearts go...*imitates air horns*"! Evie was a little confused as Stereo explained, saying, 'That's his way of saying he's excited." Melody then introduced her to Laguna, saying, "And this is Laguna Tidepool, Trollstopia's finest an"troll"pologist." Evie responded by saying, "Hi! What does an antomamalist do"? Melody and Laguna snickered quietly as Laguna replied, "Well, an an"troll"pologist studies the culture, history, and artifacts behind troll history to develop important theories about troll behavior, lifestyle, and culture."

Evie looked really confused as Melody clarified things by saying, "It means Laguna studies how we live together and befriend other trolls." That seemed to make more sense as she replied, "Oh! Ok, I'm still young, so big words like Lora's study job don't make sense yet." Melody covered her mouth to stifle her laughter as Laguna found herself chuckling, replying, "It's Laguna, but you can call me Lora for the time being. Oh! Let me introduce you to my mom. Mom, come meet Melody's little sister." Laguna's mom Twilight came rushing over, saying, "I'm here, kelpcake. Ah, Melody! Your mum's egg hatched! Congratulations"! Melody then said, "Thank you, Ms. T. Evie, meet Laguna's mom: Twilight Tidepool. She's a legendary explorer who's discovered a lot of ancient artifacts." Evie then asked, "So, is Tylite an ammoneutwalist too"? Twilight and Laguna both broke into laughter as Melody replied, "Evie's still learning names and other big words, so it might be a while before she starts saying them correctly." Twilight tipped her fedora, saying, "It's cool, mate. And to answer your question, little Evie, I'm just an explorer. My job is to discover lost artifacts and some of the world's most amazing places in the world." Evie seemed to like the sound of it as she shouted, "Sweet! Sounds like a lot of fun and so sick! Adventuwing smash," as she lept and smashed another tiny guitar while Melody said, "Ok, Evie. I'm glad you're excited, but you don't have always have to smash guitars when you are excited. There are other ways to express your joy."

Evie climbed back onto the top of Melody's head and asked, 'Oh yeah? Like what"? Melody then looked over at Poppy and said, "Say, how about we all show Evie how we show our joy, trolls style"? Poppy nodded in agreement as she gave a loud whistle to gather the crowd together so they could all sing together. Aggie, who was still feeling nervous, decided that maybe a little singing could help calm her nerves as she joined in with the crowd as well. Synth started up his turntables as everyone began to stamp their feet and clap in unison with the music.

Evie clapped in appreciation, saying, "Wowee! That was so much fun"! Evie jumped around happily and sat on top of Melody's head before she noticed Aggie, asking, "Hey, big sissy! Who's that"? Melody started to walk towards Aggie while saying, "This is Aggie, otherwise known as the Master of All Music. Aggie, meet Evie." Aggie had a small nervous smile while she said, "It's great to meet you, Evie. You are so cute and lucky to have Melody as a big sister." Evie then jumped from Melody's head and landed in Aggie's arms, shouting, "Hello"! Aggie panicked and froze in fear, almost dropping Evie in the process. Melody picked up Evie in time as she said, "I'm so sorry for that, Aggie. Evie's just a little energetic since she's just hatched. Evie, apologize to Aggie for startling her." Evie bowed her head and said, "Apologies, mastew Aggie." Aggie calmed down and responded with, "It's ok. I'm just lucky no one got hurt. Are you ok"? Evie nodded, saying, "I'm wocking and feeling fine"! Melody then commented, "Well, hopefully, now that you look a little calmer, do you want to hold Evie"? Aggie shook her head, saying, "I'd like to, but...I just remembered! I'm supposed to go with Buckaroo on patrol at Country Corral. Maybe later," as Aggie quickly walked away, much to Melody's confusion, while Evie commented, "She's one intewesting twoll."

Meanwhile, once Aggie felt like she was a good distance away from the crowd, she hid behind a tree and sighed a small breath of relief. She slowly wiped the developing sweat from her brow as she whispered, "Phew. That was close." Suddenly, a familiar voice spoke up from behind her, saying, "You know Aggie. Just because you can run away from your problems does not mean you can hide from them." Aggie jumped back and yelped in fear while turning around to see who it came from. As it turned out, it was Barb, much to Aggie's relief as she placed her red hand over her beating heart while saying, "Barb! You almost scared me to death"! Barb shrugged and replied, "Well, you can't really blame me considering you're so jumpy. And I saw what happened and have to ask," how come you didn't want to hold the new baby"? Aggie sighed and responded with, "It's a bit of a long story, and it's mainly about something that happened back in Harmonious Land. Long before I met all of you guys." Barb smiled and leaned against a tree, saying, "I got time if you want to talk about it." Aggie looked around before saying, "Well...okay. The truth is...this is going to sound kind of dumb...but...I'm afraid." It took Barb every inch of strength and willpower she had to not laugh at that statement as she asked, "Wait. You're scared of babies"?

Aggie placed her hands up while saying, "What No! I'm not afraid of babies, eggs, or young trolls like Tiny or Evie. I'm afraid...of hurting them." Barb suddenly became curious as she asked, "Why would you be terrified of that? You're one of the most caring, kindest, most gentle trolls here. Ugh...man, I am starting to sound sappy. But aside from that, you're so gentle with everyone. Why would you be afraid of hurting them"? Aggie then came up to Barb while saying, "As I said before, it's a long story. See, back when I was little, in Harmonious Land. I was babysitting one of my nephews. I was sitting in the living room, watching this holographic picture, when he came waddling into the room. Now, he was learning how to walk at that time, so he wasn't exactly the most graceful. But, he was still able to travel pretty well on two feet. Anyways, he came in and saw the remote next to me and, being the curious soul that he was, wanted to grab the remote and press the buttons so he could change the channel. I tried to pull him away as gently as possible, but he fell and hit his head pretty hard the minute I did. He cried in pain, and I instantly panicked and called my parents. They came rushing in and scolded me after I told them what happened. Even though he was okay, since then, I've always been terrified of holding babies, eggs, or young trolls because I fear...that something like that might happen again. What makes my fear even greater is...I'm worried that what if it does happen again? and this time, with someone else's child like Tiny Diamond or Evie? I could not only cause them to get hurt, but I could lose trust in them or even lose my friendships with their siblings/parents. That's why I'm always hesitant whenever someone brings a baby or an egg around and especially when they offer me a chance to hold them."

Aggie looked down at her feet while Barb began to felt bad for the Magical Musical Troll. She offered a small grin and swung her arm around her, saying, "Aggie, look, I'm not one for sentimental words or giving advice, but I can say that no troll's ever perfect. We all make these kinds of mistakes, but we learn from them." Aggie looked up at Barb and replied solemnly, "But...that memory makes it hard for me to forget and move on. I really want to be able to hold an egg or a baby in my arms, maybe cuddle with them if they want to, but this fear makes it almost impossible to do." Barb then got an idea as she said, "Maybe there's a way we can squash that fear out of you. Come with me onto my rock bus for a minute." Barb led Aggie over to the rock bus as they both walked inside and were greeted by Carol and Riff, who were tuning up their instruments. Aggie sat on the couch as Barb brought out a whiteboard while saying, 'Now if we're going to get you holding babies and eggs with no fear residing inside of you, we're going to do a series of different scenarios." As Barb began to write on the whiteboard, she explained, "First, we will get you exposed to practice items similar to eggs or young trolls, so you can start to feel comfortable being in the same room as them. It'll start still and quiet. Then, we will have the objects move and mimic young infant/egg behavior, so you can get used to being in the same room as them while they are moving around. Then, you will be practicing how to hold them with different objects at different levels. First, a styrofoam egg with a metal ball inside can have that real weight as a real egg. Then, one with a small buzzer can make the egg jump, shake, and move around a little. The egg challenges, we shall refer to as stage 1. After you pass stage one, you will move on to stage 2: young infants and trolls. In that stage, you have two main levels: one where you must properly hold a baby doll, then do it as it moves, squirms, and makes noises. When you master that, we'll move onto the third stage: real-life situation. We will recreate the scenario that caused this fear to begin with, and with a moving doll, you will try and get it away from the remote, away from it, without hurting it. Once you pass all three stages, then, you will partake in the final stage."

Aggie gulped and asked, "What's the final stage"? Barb's reply to that was, "You're going to go see Melody and Val and see if you can hold their new little cousin/sister. Pass all four stages, and I think we can get this fear conquered." Aggie was hesitant as she asked, "You really think this can work"/ Barb shrugged as she said with a smile, "Well, it's worth a shot. and even if it doesn't, at least it'll be fun helping you out for once." Aggie smiled, grateful for Barb's generosity, as she then asked, "Oh yeah! I forgot to ask you! Why did you come to Trollstopia anyway"? Barb sat next to Aggie and commented, "When word got around that Mal's egg was hatching, I wanted to see for myself if we were going to have another rock troll, a new pop troll, or another half-pop like Melody to add to our tribe. It sounded pretty exciting. So I came to see for myself, and Evie's really something else. She's going to be one interesting rock troll," as Aggie smiled, saying, "You bet." Suddenly, Aggie felt a vision coming in as she stared blankly at the wall in a daze. In the vision, she held Evie as the baby rock troll said, "You the Mastew of Babysitting, Aggie! Glad Big Sissy's friends with you"! Once Aggie returned to her senses, she shook her head as Barb asked, "What's the matter? Did..."it" happen again"? Aggie nodded and whispered to Barb, "My vision was that I was holding Evie, and she said I was the master of babysitting, and that she's glad I'm friends with Melody." Barb grinned as she said, "That's good. It means that this plan will work and that your fear will be conquered."

Aggie then slightly frowned as she said, "But don't you remember? These visions don't always happen exactly the way I see them. Sometimes, something or someone comes along to change it and provide different results. so, we can't really rely just on that." With that, Barb got up from the couch and said, "Well then, we better get started and see if we can make this vision come true. Riff, get the styrofoam egg"! Riff came over, carrying a huge styrofoam egg resting in a basket full of hay and feathers. He placed it on the desk in front of Aggie, as Barb said, "So, right now, we have an egg in this very bus. How are you feeling"? Aggie shrugged and replied, "Right now, nothing. Just calm and cool." Barb smiled as she then pulled out a remote while saying, "Really? Even when I do his"? She pressed a button on the remote, and the egg began to shake and jump a little bit, taking small breaks in between. Aggie raised one of her eyebrows as her reply was, "A little curious now, but not scared. Though, the jumping is a little nerve-wracking." Barb pressed the button again, which made the egg stop while saying, "Well, the buzzer we picked out is really jumpy, so, warning ahead of time: don't be too alarmed if it does a high jump. And so far, so good. Now, let's replace the egg with a baby doll, representing a young infant troll. Riff, let's get a doll in here." Riff came over again and gave a small rock-troll doll to Barb as Aggie snickered while saying, "Okay, that is cute." The doll was gray and had a black mullet, but it also wore a red shirt and a diaper on the bottom, so it'd look like a baby.

Barb held it, replying, "Meet your new practice baby, Wire. Get it? Barb? Wire"? Aggie nodded as the rock leader chuckled before saying she placed the doll onto the table next to the basket, "Now, having it in the room with you, how do you feel"? Aggie gently swung her feet as she looked at the doll, am image of her nephew came into mind as Aggie cringed in fright. Barb, noticing her reaction, asked, "You ok"? Aggie slowly nodded, saying, 'Just...temporarily saw my nephew in your doll, but...I think I'm ok now." Suddenly, Carol came barging in, saying, "Barb! We got an issue in the back"! Barb facepalmed as she replied, "Don't tell me they're at it again! Debbie, see what you can do"1 Her pet bat flew into the back room of the bus as Barb said, "Sorry, Aggs. I gotta take care of this real quick! Be right back," as she rushed into the room, slamming the door behind her. Aggie sat on the couch and looked at the doll again when out of the blue, Mal came inside, holding Evie, as she called for Barb. Aggie spoke up, saying, "Barb's taking care of something real quick. What's up, Mal"? Mal came over to Aggie, saying, "I need to run and restock on baby supplies now that Evie's hatched. And Val and Melody are coming with me, but we need a babysitter for Evie. You think you can watch her for us until we come back"? Aggie became shocked as she nervously asked, "Me?! Babysit"?! Evie smiled and jumped onto Aggie's lap, saying, "Yay! You the Mastew of Babysitting, Aggie"! Aggie gulped and muttered silently, "My vision." Mal bowed her head and said, "We are really grateful for your assistance. we should be back in about half an hour or so. Here," as she gave Aggie a bag that had some supplies inside. As Aggie looked inside the bag, Mal explained, "There's a bottle in case she gets hungry, some toys she can play with, and a couple of diapers in case she has an accident. Aggie tried to take some deep breaths to calm down, but they seemed to be failing her. Meanwhile, Evie was standing on the table as she asked, "So, Aggie, let's play something! Please"?! Aggie placed a hand over her beating heart as she said, "It's ok. You can do this, Aggie. It's just for an hour." Evie then tilted her head in confusion as she asked, "Why awe you talking to youself? And why do you look scawed? Are there monstaws on this bus"? Aggie shook her head no as Evie then said, "I know how to make it all better! Stage dive hug," as she lept and landed on Aggie's chest, trying to hug her, while Aggie screamed in fright. However, Barb nor any other rock trolls could hear her as the back room was too noisy. Evie was still confused as to why her babysitter was acting this way as she asked, "Why did you scweam? Did I stawtle you again? I'm sowwy. I'm just so excited to have new fwiends here and a gweat family to live with. Did I...do something wong"? Evie looked like she was about to cry as Aggie slowly replied, "No, no. you didn't do anything wrong. I'm the wrong one." Evie sat on Aggie's lap as she asked, "What do you mean by that? How awe you wong"? Aggie sighed as she stated, "When I screamed earlier when you jumped into my arms, I didn't scream because I was startled. I screamed...because I was scared." Evie's eyes widened a bit as she asked in sadness, "You...scawed of me"? Aggie realized what Evie was thinking as she shouted, "No! no! I'm not scared of you! You're as cute as a button. I'm scared...of hurting you by accident."

Evie did not seem to understand as she asked, "Huh? But...you not hurting me. I'm still standing." Aggie clarified things by saying, "I'm not now, but I'm afraid that while I'm holding you or we're doing something, I do something by accident that makes you fall or get hurt really bad. And I don't want that to happen, especially to you. So, I've been scared to hold babies and eggs because of that reason." She slowly picked Evie up and said, "I'm sorry for how I acted. I know you may not understand it at the moment, but I do hope you know that I'm sorry." Evie then looked at Aggie's hands before saying, "But...you holding me now. And I'm not huwt. Maybe, you just need pwactice." Aggie realized that Evie was right; she was currently holding the baby rock troll in her hands, and nothing bad was happening. Evie then said, "I know! Snack! Feed me snack! Like mama does,"! Aggie reached into the bag Mal left and pulled out a bottle before asking, "Okay. now, do I give it to you or..." Evie raised an eyebrow and replied, "What? No! You cwadle me in awms and feed me bottle. That's how it works. Don't be afwaid, Aggie." Aggie took a deep breath before she carefully readjusted her classical troll hand so Evie can lay on it. It benefitted the baby troll greatly since she was about Tiny's size. Then, Aggie lifted her elbow a little so the head could be supported before giving Evie the bottle. The rock troll began to suck on it as Aggie smiled, saying, "Hey, I'm doing it." With her mouth full, Evie replied, "Yes, you awe," though the food in her mouth made it sound all muffled. After Evie had enough, Aggie placed the bottle onto the table as Evie replied, "Now, I need buwp. Shoulder hankie in baggie." Aggie reached into the bag and pulled out what looked like a burping blanket as she placed it over her shoulder.

Evie climbed up and carefully laid on it as she said, "Tap with two wiggies to help." Aggie was a little confused until she realized Evie meant fingers but became a little nervous. She didn't want to tap too hard, or else she could hurt Evie by accident, just like with her nephew. Seeing Evie smile and give a small nod in affirmation, Aggie took two fingers and lightly began to tap Evie on her back a couple of times until a loud burp filled the room. Evie jumped down onto Aggie's lap again and said with a grin, "All done," while Aggie found herself laughing, saying, "Wow! For a tiny little thing, you sure pack a lot of gas." Evie grinned and said, "Of couwse! I get it from listening to othew wock twolls do it." Then, Evie stretched her arms up and gave off a small yawn as Aggie said, "Aw! It looks like someone needs a nap. Here." Aggie placed the blanket back into the bag before putting the bag onto the table. Then, she picked up Evie before laying flat on her stomach, saying, "You can cuddle close to me as you sleep. You can use my hair as a blanket if you want." Evie smiled as she sat against Aggie's right cheek, grabbing some of Aggie's rainbow locks and covering herself in it, commenting, "Wow! You have pretty haiw, Aggie! So bwight and colowful"! Aggie smiled as she said, "Thanks, Evie." The baby rock troll sighed in content as she rested her head back, falling asleep almost instantly. Aggie smiled in content before she found herself becoming sleepy and slowly starting to close her eyes. Once Barb was finished with whatever occurred in the back room, she came in and walked into a heartwarming sight: seeing Aggie and Evie both asleep together on the couch. Barb grinned and let out a quiet chuckle, saying in a whisper, "Well, Aggs, seems like you didn't need my help at all."

Aggie and Evie remained asleep for about a solid half-hour. Soon, Melody and Val climbed onto the bus, with Val saying, "Barb! We're back"! Melody looked at the couch as she said while putting her arm in front of Val, "Val, wait! Look"! The rock ambassador turned and saw Aggie and Evie asleep together, as she commented, "Well, seems like Aggie's someone we can count on for future babysitting moments." Melody slowly tiptoed to the duo and picked up the bag, whispering, "Evie, it's us, Melody and Val. We're back." Evie opened her eyes and let out a small yawn as she sleepily replied, "What a relaxing nap. Aggie, wake up," as she used her foot to tap Aggie's cheek. It stirred the Magical Musical troll and allowed her to start waking up. Evie hopped onto Melody's shoulder and climbed up onto her head as Aggie sat up and yawned, saying as she rubbed her eyes, "Man, how long were we out for"? Val pretended to look at a watch while replying, "About half an hour. But it seems like you two had some fun." Evie nodded and shouted, 'Yeah! We had a wocking great time togethew! Big sissy, Bigga cousin, how was trip"? Melody and Val both laughed as the pop/rock troll replied, "It went well, Evie," as Val said to Aggie, "I take it Evie wore you out"? Aggie shook her head as she responded with, "On the contrary, we both wore each other out...in our own way. She's a great troll to talk to." Evie then said, "Wait! Befowe we go, Aggie, can we hug? Unless you not weady yet." Aggie smiled as she opened her arms out, saying, "Come here, Evie."

Evie shouted, "Stave dive hug," as she jumped and landed in Aggie's hands, while the Master of All Music lifted her up and gently hugged her, the baby rock troll doing the same thing. Melody and Val smiled at the sight before Evie went back to her spot on Melody's head, saying, "Till next time, Mastew of Babysitting! Evie, out"! Val, Melody, and Evie all left the bus as Aggie watched them leave, smiling in content while feeling very proud of herself. She wasn't the only one as Barb came, swinging her arm around Aggie while saying, "And to think you were nervous of accidentally hurting her. Look at that. You truly are great with kids." Aggie smiled and blushed in embarrassment, saying, "Well, I have you to thank Barb." Barb shook her head as she replied, "I didn't do anything, Aggs. That all came from you. Oh man, now I'm really starting to sound sappy. I need to do some shredding and smashing. Want to join"? Aggie shook her head, saying, "Thank you for the offer, but I have something important to do first." Barb smiled, saying, "Ok, but when you do want to join in, you know where to find me." Aggie nodded and rushed out of the bus and headed straight for her pod. Once inside, she sat on her desk and began to compose a letter for a troll, in particular, saying, "Hope you like to hear what I've been up to recently, my favorite nephew."
