(This is an alternate scene)

Branch: are you positive you can patrol the area by yourself?

*Branch asked poppy as she put some stuff into a backpack*

Poppy: I won't be alone I'll have molly with me!

Branch: That's what I'm worried about

Poppy: Branch will you relax? I will be okay

*Poppy puts her cape on and her backpack and hops onto molly's back*

Poppy: I'll be back as soon as I can

Branch: okay but be careful, I don't want you getting hurt

Poppy: I Promise branch I won't get hurt

*then molly ran out of the balloon and started flying with poppy on her back*

*Branch watched as she flew away and started to daydream*

*In branch's daydream*

*Branch was holding poppy close to him with her facing him, Giving him "Bedroom eyes" *

Poppy:...Branch?

Branch: Yes my princess?

Poppy: I Love you

Branch: oh I know my beauty you're here in my arms, looking more beautiful than ever with those precious pink eyes of yours *Growls seductively*

*Then he leaned in and kissed her*

*In reality*

*branch was standing still, trapped inside his daydream*

Biggie: Branch? Branch! *snaps fingers*

Branch: huh? uhm...What happened?

Biggie: You froze for a bit staring off into the distance

Branch: Oh yeah right sorry, I'm just kinda worried about poppy but at least she has molly with her

*Meanwhile*

*Molly was soaring through the clouds while poppy felt the clouds at her fingertips*

Poppy: I don't know what branch was so worried about we got this! It's not like a predator is just gonna come out of nowhere

*then poppy's ear twitched slightly*

Poppy: Wait molly stop stop stop!

*Molly stopped moving and looked at poppy*

Molly: Wh- what happened? What's up?

Poppy: Did you hear something?

Molly: I don't think so why?

Poppy: I heard something, like a- like- like- uh like a swoosh!

Molly: mom you're being ridiculous, you just said that it's not like a predator could come out of...

*molly's voice trailed off when she saw a giant bird in the distance*

Molly: mom...?

Poppy: Yeah?

*Molly points at the giant bird in the distance coming towards them*

*then molly and Poppy look at each other*

Molly and Poppy: AAAAHH!!!

Poppy: GO GO GO!!!

*Molly began flying away quickly trying to lose the giant bird*

*Poppy looked back and the bird had its talons out, ready to grab poppy*

Poppy: Fly faster!!!!! FLY FASTER!!!!!!!!!!

Molly: I'm trying!!!

*the bird tried to grab her but she ducked and instead, the bird grabbed her cape and ripped it off her back*

*Suddenly poppy spotted a cavern on the side of a mountain*

Poppy: Molly head into the cave we'll lose the bird that way!

*Molly soared into the cave and crashed inside of it making poppy fall off her back, making herself blackout, the bird lost sight of poppy and molly, making it crash into the mountain, causing a rockslide to block its entrance, trapping poppy and molly inside of it then it flew out of sight with poppy's cape in its talons*

*Meanwhile*

*Branch was pacing back and forth*

Branch: Something's not right, they should've been back by now

Biggie: Uh branch? You may want to take a look at this

*Branch looks over and saw poppy's cape on a cliffside*

Branch: Wait a minute...

*Branch extends his hair and managed to grab her cape*

*he held her cape in his hands and looked at it*

Branch: this is poppy's cape...biggie?

Branch:...We need to find them

*Branch said as he put poppy's cape on a barrel*

*Meanwhile*

*Poppy woke up and slowly got up off of the ground*

Poppy: ugh...Molly?

Molly: Mom? what happened?

Poppy: I don't know but we need to find a way out

Molly: I'm not so sure about that

*Molly pointed to the lava rising*

Poppy: Oh no

Molly: Okay okay don't panic we have two options...wait scratch that, three options

Molly: A; FInd another way out

Molly: B; Scream for help

Molly: Or C; We push the boulders blocking the entrance and find branch and the others

Poppy: Well the lava's rising fast and neither of us is strong enough to push the boulders out of the way

Molly: So we'll do option B; Scream for help and hope somebody will save us

Molly: HELP!!!

Poppy: HELP!!!

Molly: HELP!!!

Poppy: HELP!!!

Molly: HELP!!!

Poppy: HELP!!!

*Meanwhile*

Branch: Poppy!! Molly!!

Biggie: Poppy! Molly!

Branch: Girls where are you?!?!

Poppy (Faintly): HELP!!!

Molly (Faintly): HELP!!!

Branch: *gasps* They're over there! Hurry!!

*branch turned Shelia to where the screams were coming from*

*Meanwhile*

Poppy: HELP!!!

Molly: HELP!!!

*the cave started to collapse*

Poppy and Molly: AH!

Molly: It's no use! They can't hear us!

Poppy:...Molly stay here I'm gonna try to find another way out

Molly: WHAT?! Are you nuts?!

Poppy: It's the only way molly

Molly: But mom! The lava!

Poppy: I Know but I'm sure I can find another way out I promise

Molly: Okay I trust you...

*Then Poppy runs to go find another exit*

Molly: HELP!!!

Molly: HELP!!!

*meanwhile*

Molly (Faintly): HELP!!!

Branch: They have to be in there!

*Branch hops off of the balloon and runs towards the blocked entrance*

Branch: PUP?! Are you in there?!

Molly (Muffled): Branch! Thank Troll! You gotta get us out of here, the cave might collapse any second!

Branch: Hang on kid I'll get you out!

*Branch wraps his hair around and boulder and started to pull on it*

*meanwhile*

Poppy: C'mon there has to be another way out I know it!

*poppy ran in further but the smoke was travelling into her lungs and she was covered in sud*

Poppy: *Coughs*

Poppy (Weakly): *starts to feel wobbly* *coughs* Please...i gotta...find...another way...out

*Poppy falls onto a platform in a deep pit halfway-filled with lava and passes out*

*Meanwhile*

*Branch managed to dislodge the boulder and he was able to crawl inside*

Branch: Are you okay?

Molly: Yeah I'm fine branch!

Branch: Wait where's poppy?!

Molly: She ran farther in to try to find another exit and she didn't come back yet!

Branch: Come on! We need to find her!

*Branch and Molly Ran to go find poppy and they tried to find her but the smoke was starting to get stronger and thicker by the second*

Branch: *Coughs* Poppy!

Molly: Over here man! I found her!

*Molly pointed to where poppy was*

Branch: Poppy!

*Branch jumped onto the platform and scooped poppy in his arms bridal style*

*then Branch used his hair to grab onto a rock and pull him and poppy up*

Branch: C'mon!

*Branch ran towards the entrance, still holding poppy in his arms while molly ran beside him*

Branch (Softly): Hang in there poppifer, we're almost out

*Then molly used her magic to blast down the rocks blocking the entrance*

*They ran out and onto Shelia and branch placed poppy down gingerly and put her head on his lap to try not to hurt her*

Branch: Poppy? 

Branch: Come on Popps, wake up

Poppy: *Coughs* Branch? is- *coughs out smoke* Is that you?

Branch: *sighs of relief* Yes it's me poppy, Are you okay? Are you hurt?

Poppy: I don't know, my head hurts so much

*poppy tries to lift her head, but branch put his hand on her forehead to keep her from trying to get up*

Branch: shh shh shh It's okay just lay down

*branch cooed to her softly*

*She fell asleep in his arms and snuggled close to him*

Branch: Okay, molly stay here and take care of your mother

*Branch told molly as he walked away*

Molly: 'kay 'kay

*Molly walked up to Poppy and nuzzled her*

*At Midnight*

*biggie and mr. dinkles were asleep*

*branch walked over to poppy who was still asleep*

Branch: How's she doing pup?

Molly: Well she's still coughing up a bit of smoke, but other than that, she's doing okay

Branch: well at least she's doing alright

Branch: She should feel better in the morning, now get some rest

*Branch told molly as he rubbed her head and she fell asleep*

*Branch leaned over the edge and sighed*

*Later at night*

*Poppy was squirming on the ground lightly whimpering*

*In poppy's dream*

*Poppy found herself in the cave she and molly were*

Poppy: Hello? anybody here?

*suddenly without any explanation, the cave began to crumble*

Poppy: AH! oh no, Help! Someone help me!

*Poppy ran as fast as her legs could carry her until she slipped fell into a deep deep hole screaming*

*In Reality*

*Poppy woke up with a gasp and held her chest as her heart was beating rapidly*

*Poppy looked down slightly before beginning to sob*

Branch: Poppy?

*poppy gasped and flinched back as she saw branch kneeling in front of her looking worried*

Branch: Hey hey calm down it's just me, what's wrong?

*Poppy didn't respond, she just sniffled and glanced at branch before she hid her face in her knees as she cried*

*branch approached her and pulled her into a gentle, warm, comforting embrace also rubbing her back to calm her down*

Branch: shh shh shh, it's okay, i'm here...

*Branch continued to comfort her until her cries were getting softer and softer*

Branch: Poppy...look me in the eye

*Branch lifted poppy's chin as he wiped her tears*

Branch: What's the matter?

Poppy (Sobbing): I- i dreamt of what happened earlier today back at the cave, but there was no opening, molly wasn't there and the cave started collapsing and i was so scared and i fell down a deep deep dark hole a- and i got so scared and i thought i was never gonna see you or molly ever again

*branch pulled her into another warm embrace and rubbed the back of her head*

Branch: hey shh shh shh, it's okay...it's okay

Branch: We're all right here and we would never EVER leave you

Branch: Now get some rest we have a big day tomorrow

Poppy (Yawning): O- *Yawns* Okay

*Poppy laid down and the ground and felt branch cover her in a warm blanket and her eyes fluttered close and she feel asleep*
