The next day Floyd couldn't stop thinking about Boom and wonders if he could be with him or if two different species could be together he tries to think about that possibility only to have another headache 

The Sea Queen notices Floyd's behavior and summons her older sons so she could know who is Floyd in love with 

Crown Prince John Dory: is there a reason you summoned us mother 

The Sea Queen: I summoned you three is because I have noticed that Floyd is experiencing signs of falling in love and I want to know who is the lucky mertroll who swept your little brother off his fins

The three looked at each other wondering how they can make a convincing lie to make it look like Floyd did not fall in love with a land troll until Bruce cracked under the pressure 

Prince Bruce: IM SORRY MOTHER BUT FLOYD IS IN LOVE WITH A LAND TROLL WE WENT UP THE SURFACE AND I TRIED TO STOP THEM BUT THEY CONVINCED ME OTHERWISE 

😨😨

Sea Queen: when will you boys stop sneaking out of the place 

Meanwhile in the Grotto 

Floyd: *thinking* do you think that me and Boom are meant to be together do you think he would love me back even though I have a tail hmm maybe since Branch is apparently going to be married but how did he even end up with the land trolls how is he one and does she know that he is a mertroll 

Then the Sea Queen shows up 

Floyd: hey mother what is going on 

Sea Queen: it has recently come to my attention that you feel in love with a land troll

Floyd: why is that a problem 

Sea Queen: you can't be with him he's a land troll and you are a mertroll

Floyd: but that shouldn't make us enemies besides would you hate Branch for living among them 

The Sea Queen was hit with a flood of flashbacks about losing her youngest child and feeling like she had failed Branch as his mother and went into a rage and used her trident to destroy everything in the grotto and Floyd swam away crying 

Then while Floyd was in tears he saw two eels and they told him that there was a sea witch who could help him out and before he swam to her lair his brothers arrived with Bruce looking extremely guilty about selling him out too their mother 

Prince Bruce: Floyd don't follow them there is something off about them 

Floyd: oh yeah then why don't you tell mother than since that's the best you can do *swims away from his brothers*

Floyd then arrived at the sea witch's lair with his brothers following him 

Floyd: hi miss I was told that you can help me 

Sea Witch: yes but there is one way for me to help you be with that land troll

Floyd: how 

Sea Witch: it's obvious child you have to become a land troll yourself 

Floyd: you are willing to help me 

Sea Witch: yes it's what I live for

Writing the lyrics is just going to make this chapter long just know that she told Floyd that he has to give up his voice in order to have land troll legs and that he has three days to get Boom to kiss him in order for the spell to be permanent and if he fails then he belongs to her forever 

Then Floyd sings and loses his voice and then he transforms into a land troll and almost drowns until Clay and John Dory swam him up to the surface
