Heeeey!! Here it is! A sneak peek of the dialogue for my upcoming story Floyd's Vacation!

 ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° °

Floyd jolts himself awake, sitting up in bed, gasping for air, looking around wildly, trying to shake off the vivid dream. Sweat drips from all over his body, which dampens his pajama tank top. His heart races and is in tears. He takes deep breaths, trying to calm down, but the memory of Velvet's cruel laughter echoes in his mind.

Soon each of his brothers stir in their sleep, including Branch, who was the first to wake up.

Branch: Floyd? What's the matter? Are you okay?

John Dory: [yawns] What happened?

Bruce: [groggily moans] Mmmmm....what time is it?

Branch: 3:15 am.

John Dory: *gasps* 3 AM!?! Bros, I don't think we should be up around this time.

Bruce: [sits up, taking off his sleeping mask] What? Why?

John Dory: It's the witching hour! The horror hour! This is the time when all the demons, goblins, and witches are fully empowered and superactive.

Floyd starts shivering. Could this tie to his nightmare?

Clay: [yawns] Dude, do you believe everything you hear?

John Dory: You don't understand. This is when Evil spirits come out at night. Demons. Witches. Goblins.

Clay: Yeah, yeah, we get it.

Bruce: But that's not all it means. It can be spiritual.

John Dory: Spiritual? How?

Bruce: What I have learned from the locals on Vacay Island is that you can manifest and meditate during this time. It could also be a message from the universe.

Clay: [immediately gets up, wearing his sleeping cap] So you guys woke me up at 3 am to talk about 3 am!?! Are you serious?

Branch: Guys, can we just focus on Floyd right now? He needs us.

They all faced Floyd, who wiped his tears and was shaking in fear. He grabbed his pillow and squeezed it.

Clay: Dude, you're shaking like a leaf. What's the matter?

Floyd said nothing, still gripping onto the pillow. The tears came back as they went down his cheeks.

Frowning, Branch grabbed a pair of his pants from the edge of the bed, slipped them on, and got out of bed. He walked towards Floyd's bed, sat next to him, putting his hand on his shoulder.

Branch: Floyd...

Floyd: [begins to cry as he hug him in a tight way. Tears fell down Branch's shoulders.

Branch: [hugs] Hey, it's okay. We're here for you. You're safe.

Bruce: Aw, you poor thing. [gets out of bed and gives Floyd a hug, too while Floyd keeps crying] There, there. It's okay, it's okay.

John Dory: We've got your back, brother. [hugs]

Clay: And We'll be here for you every step of the way, Floyd. Always. [hugs]

Still crying, Floyd feels the love and comfort from his brothers and is thankful for another group hug from them....
