~In the caves~

Poppy layed there bored, as she listened to to the rain. She looked around at everybody. They all seemed like they were asleep. She looked out the cave entrance to try to see the, stars but the clouds were blocking them. 

Poppy sighed, "This is sooo borrring." 

Branch was awake, "There is nothing we can do." 

Poppy jumped, "Wait your awake?!" 

"Have been. It's hard to sleep when all I can hear is the rain.  I prefer SILENCE." Branch sighed. 

Poppy thought of an idea. 

Branch glanced at her "uhh Poppy?" 

"😁" Poppy smiled

Suddenly, music started playing.

"I swear-" Barb was also awake. 

"Oh I know this song!" Lizie smiled. 

"Wait everyone is awake?!" Branch looked at them. They all had their heads up. 

"I wanna dance in the dark!" 

Poppy started singing. 

"We gonna light up the night!" 

Lizie started singing with Poppy, excitedly.

The others just watched slightly confused, as Poppy continued the song with Lizie.

🎶Can see the night skies in the mirror of your eyes🎶

Poppy and Lizie smiled at each other.

The rain was slowly calming down as they sang. It was like their connection with each other was magical. The others looked amazed as the moon shone through the clouds.

That's when the clouds fully disappeared, showing a beautiful night sky full of stars

Poppy rain out of the cave an looked up. She saw all the amazing stars. She signaled for them to come see. When they gathered around, they all stared in amazement. 

"Woah! That's cool!" Cooper said. 

"And a coincidence. The rain stopped when you guys were singing." Branch looked at them. 

The chips looked at them, like they were sus, "Hmmmmm..."

"Uhhh music solves everything?" Poppy said. 

"It really does! And we now have proof!" Lizie said. 

"OK, we're not trying to prove anything Lizie. And your little song was kinda... Unessicary. " Zoie said. 

"So? It was SO much fun! Me and Poppy make a great team!" Lizie smiled at her.

"... What now?"  Prince D asked. 

"Well we shouldn't waste anytime. It's almost day, and you guys gotta follow through with our plan at sunrise."  Zoie explained. 

"But was the song actually a waste of time, Zoie? It actually did seem like it stopped the rain." Stripe reasoned. 

Zoie sighed out of frustration, "can we just... Go to sleep? I'm kinda frustrated." 

"If you don't mind me asking, why?" Poppy calmly asked. 

"BECAUSE NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF--"  Zoie stopped herself. She didn't want to say what she was thinking, not now anyway. 

Lizie and Stripe looked at her surprised, and the others seemed confused. 

"Uh guys? I insist we should leave Zoie alone." Stripe said to them, with Lizie nodding in agreement. 

"Ohhh... Okay! Who wants to play eye spy?😅" Poppy asked. 

"oh boy this is gonna be a loooong rest of the night." Barb rested her head on her paws.
