It was a sunny day in Trollstopia~

Poppy was sleeping peacefully in her pod, dreaming of whatever she dreams about.

That was, until the sunlight shined into her room, directly at her.

Poppy tried rolling over to ignore the sun, but out of no where a bird landed on her window.

 And the bird started tweeting obnoxiously loud, as if it were an alarm clock.

"ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT IM UP" Poppy sat up and said.

The bird flew away like its job there was done.                                                                                         

"Huh, That was weird." Poppy shrugged. 

Poppy decided to go about her day, starting with getting ready.

Soon after she had finished doing her hair, someone knocked on her door.

When she got up and answered the door Branch was standing there.

He just stood awkwardly and didn't say anything.

"Uhm Hello, Branch?" Poppy waved her hand in front of his face.

Branch hesitated,"oh uh, Good morning, Poppy!"

"Whats wrong with you?" Poppy asked

"Absolutely nothing!" Branch smiled 

"Pfft. C'mon Branch. I know when you're lieing." 

"NoOoO-"

Poppy just looked at him

"Fine. So I was wondering if-"

Before Branch could finish he accidently dropped a ticket to something.

Poppy noticed if and picked it up,"Oooo whats this?! Oh is it for ice-cream?!"

"Uh no, its actually-"

"OO THE MOVIES?!" Poppy smiled 

"No. Its for-" Branch tried saying again

"A ROLLER COASTER?"

"No! It's for a hot air balloon!" Branch Finnally said

"Ooo, really?!" Poppy looked at the ticket

"Mhm! A hot air balloon ride for US-"

"And our friends?!" Poppy grinned at him

Branch paused, "Uhh yEaaa... Exactly!"

":O REALLY?!" Poppy smiled

"YeA" Branch responded

"YAYAY! THAT SOUNDS LIKE SO MUCH FUNN!" Poppy gave him a hug, "but which of our friends?"

Branch hesitated, "why don't we go see who wants to come-?"

"Oh, ok! Good idea!" Poppy gave Branch  the ticket back.

Branch stood there, not moving.

"Uh, are we going to go?" Poppy looked at him.

"Don't you have to get ready first?" Branch asked

Poppy just stared at him. "I already am-"

"OH-" He nervously laughed, "Then yeA we can!"

Poppy stood there just looking at him,"Mhm."

"Anyway," he  changed the subject,"Let's go!"

"YAYY!" Poppy ran past Branch, out of the door.

Branch sighed, and followed Poppy out the door to Trollstopia.

~At Trollstopia~

At Trollstopia, everyone was going about their day.

When Poppy and Branch arrived, Poppy immediately began to look for some of her friends. 

"Ok! So, who do you think we should ask first?" Poppy said

Branch shrugged ,"Who ever you see first, I guess."

"Ok! Barb it is!" Poppy said.

"Wait you already spotted Barb? Where?" Branch asked 

Poppy began to snicker.

"Wha-"

"BOO!" Barb said. 

"AA-"

Branch fell to the ground, and saw Barb, who was behind him the whole time.

Barb and Poppy began to laugh at him, while he picked himself up.

"You were CLUELESS! XD" Poppy  said.

"Yea, ANYWAY, Poppy has something to ask you Barb-" Branch said.

"Yea I know." Barb said

"How do you know -?" Poppy asked.

"Well, you just told me." Barb responded.

Branch rolled his eyes,

"Oh- Well anyway, We were wondering  if you wanted to go on a hot air balloon  ride with us! It'll be fun!" Poppy said

"Sure." Barb shrugged.

"Wait what? Branch said.

"Hmm. That was alot easier then I thought it would be." Poppy said. 

"I don't have anything better to do." Barb responded.

"Uh give us a second,  Barb"  Branch then pulled Poppy to the side.

"What? Is something  wrong?" Poppy asked.

"Yea. Are you sure you want to bring BARB on a hot air balloon?" Branch questioned.

Branch knew that bringing Barb on such a thing as a hot air balloon was NOT a good idea.

"Yea! What's wrong with that? It'll be fun!!" Poppy smiled.

"I don't knoww." Branch hesitated, thinking of all the the things that could go wrong 

"Plllleaseeeee?" Poppy looked at Branch, with her eyes going huge like she was about  to cry.

"I- I uhm"

Poppy's eyes somehow grew. 

"F-Fine!" Branch gave in, " but don't say I didn't warn you!"

"Branch, nothing bad is going to happen on a hot airballoon ride!" Poppy said.

"I guess." Branch responded

"Now, Who else should we invite?!" Poppy looked around for more of her friends 

Barb looked up and spotted two trolls falling from the sky. 

"Mabey them?" Barb said, not worried at all.

"Who?" Poppy looked up to where Barb had pointed.

Thats when They noticed it was Cooper and Prince D falling from the sky. They were getting closer, making it more obvious to tell who it was.

Branch squinted  his eyes as he looked up. After he realized what it was, his eyes grew huge.

"Is that Cooper and Prince D?" Poppy asked.

"YES- AND THERE HEADING RIGHT FOR US!" Branch yelled.

Branch grabbed Poppy's hand and led them a safe distance  away. He was probably  the only one there with a logical idea, considering that two trolls were about to land on them.

Barb stood there blankly  😶

"Wow, thanks for helping me move too 😑" Barb went over to where they were, and stood next to them.

In a matter of seconds, Prince D and Cooper landed. They didn't appear hurt at all.

":0 ARE YOU GUYS OK?!" Poppy rushed to them.

Prince D casually stood up, while Cooper layed there with his head in the dirt.

"Uhhh- what about him?" Branch asked

"Eh, probably not . " Barb shrugged

"IM GOOD 👍" Cooper stood up

"Oh ok!" Poppy responded 

"So," Prince D began,"what did yall wanna ask us?"

Poppy took the 2 tickets from Branch's hand, then gave 1 to each of them.

"What are these for?" Cooper asked

"A hot air Balloon ride!!" Poppy smiled "We were wondering if you wanted to come! It'll be you guys, Barb, Branch, And me!

"Yeah sure!" Cooper looked  at Prince D, for his answer

"Yea, I don't see why not!" Prince D  responded.

"YAYYY!" Poppy cheered.

"Okay so that's 5 people. Let's go get the other tickets!" Branch said

"Awww but shouldn't we bring more friends?" Poppy said

"Uh no. Poppy, 5 people on one hot air balloon is enough I think. We're gonna be on with Barb" Branch answered 

"I heard that." Barb said

"Ughh" Poppy rolled her eyes

" I don't want to risk anything" Branch interrupted 

"Pfft-" Poppy said,"fine- it's not like anything is gonna happen" Poppy mumbled. She knew he was trying to keep them safe, but it still upset her that only 4 of her friends could come.

"Ok, now lets go get the other 3 tickets" Branch said

"YAYYYY!!" They cheered

Branch turned around and began walking towards the stand that sells them. The other 4 trolls followed him, chatting with one another.

While they were walking, Poppy noticed That Branch looked a little down, so she walked closer to him.

"Are you sure everything  is ok?" Poppy asked him.

Branch didn't look at her, hoping to avoid eye contact"YEa! Why wouldn't it be?" 

Poppy sighed,"I don't know. You look kind of down-"

Branch stopped  walking for a second 

"Down? Pfft no! I'm super excited! I just have alot on my mind."

"Oh, ok!" Poppy smiled. Though, she really did think something  is wrong, she didn't want Branch to know she was worried about him.

When Poppy smiled at him, it made him feel a little bit better. But, not completely better. Branch was still upset that his plan wouldn't work.

~Last night ~

Branch paced back and forth holding a list and a pen. On the list Branch had wrote down ideas. Most of them were crossed out, leaving 4 left.

"Ok, how about... A scavenger hunt?" Brand read,"Sounds fun, but NOT perfect."

Branch crossed that out.

"Uh a Fire work show?" Branch questioned,"Way to loud- She won't be able to hear me at all!"

Branch then crossed that out, leaving two options left.

"A picnic? Eh too simple" Branch sighed. 

Without reading ahead, thinking it was a lost cause, Branch sighed and sat down on his bed. Branch then looked next to him.

Right there next to him was a ring. 

"Am I really gonna give up that quick..?" Branch asked himself,

Branch stood up, still holding the paper.

"Ok, mabey the last one will work? I hope so-"

Branch read the last idea on his list. He then smiled hopefull.

"A hot air balloon ride! That's not a bad idea!!" Branch felt relieved,"I'll ask Poppy to marry me on a hot air balloon ride. Tomorrow, at sunset!"

Finnally with a plan, and new motivation, Branch decided to go to sleep, excited (and nervous!)to finnaly ask Poppy this question.

~Present day~ 

As Branch thought about last night, he knew he was going to have to come up with a new plan. This upset him because  it seemed like he spent forever coming up with that one!

"Ooo! There the stand is!" Poppy saw as they Finnally arrived at the ticket stand.

Cooper, Prince D, and Barb all followed Poppy, excitingly chatting amongst eachother.

Branch decided to just go along, and try to enjoy the day, so he followed them.

The troll working at the stand waved,"Hey guys! What can I get for ya!"

"Three hot air balloon tickets, please!" Poppy gave the guy some change.

Barb noticed that they also had some chips for sale.

"Oo and some chips!" Barb said

Branch looked at her "do you even have the money for that?"

"Yea, can you give me a dollar?" Barb asked him.

"You still have to pay me back -" Branch handed her some cash, while referring to previous time he gave her money.

"Alright whatever." She took the money and exchanged it for some chips.

"Your welcome." Branch rolled his eyes.

"Alrightyy here ya go! Three tickets for the hot air balloons! And your chips! Have a nice day guys!"

"Thank-you! This is so exciting!" Poppy handed out the tickets to them.

"WOOO! LETS GOO! Poppy and the others cheered.
