"Okay everybody! All of you can go back to your homes and pack for the trip." Poppy told us. We looked at each other confused. "What trip?"

"The trip to find my mom." She told us. We all nodded and started walking to our homes to pack everything. I obviously called Journey and told her everything, so she started packing. Obviously I told Adventure he could come too. Ocean is going to be so mad! I can't wait to see his face!! After I finished packing, I told Poppy we could a meet at the buildings. She agreed, called everyone, and told them to do that.

I got started early because I wanted to go see Sunny and her family. After all I promised her I would tell her everything. I looked around to make sure no one was watching me and ran into the forest. I continued running until I got to the rocks and vines. I carefully moved the vines and walked in the meadow. I looked around for Sunny once I got in. "Esmerald over here!" I look over and see Sunny talking an playing with her siblings and fawn I saw before. Sunny was waving me over.

"Hey Esmerald!" She told me. "This is one of our new friends Serenity." Serenity seemed a little startled when she saw me. Sunny flew up to her head and whispered something to her. Serenity nodded and Sunny stayed up on her head. "Hi." I told her. "Hi." She whispered. I saw another deer fawn walking over to us. "Hi name's Roscoe!" He said. "I'm her twin brother."

"Hi!" I told him. We hung around and talked for a while. I took a little bit, but Serenity started coming out of shell and she started talking more. Of course I explained everything to Sunny, just like I told her I would. "I still don't get why I can't go." Sunny groaned as I stood up to leave. Her mother swooped down from the tree to Sunny and her siblings. "Well for thing you too little and it would be too dangerous." She told her. Sunny crossed her wings. "You'd also miss us and your new friends. Furthermore if you went and someone saw you they could follow you back here and, if their bad, could destroy our home."

Sunny still didn't look too happy, but she also looked like she understood what her mother was trying to tell her. I gave Sunny a little walkie talkie. "If you need someone to talk to, just radio me." I told her. We hugged each other and I got up to leave.

If I don't then there could be another incident like last time. I carefully walked out and set the vines back in the place. Then I started my walk to the building. Once I got there I didn't see anyone. They must still be packing. I thought. I sat down beside the building, dug around in my hair, pulled out a book, and started reading. "Will you hurry up!" I heard a familiar sounding voice. I stood up next to the building with my hand on the handle in case I needed to run inside and hide.

The louder the footsteps got, the more I felt my heart pound in my chest. "Yeah, yeah! I know!" I heard a different voice. "I can't help it that my wheelchair broke." I saw two troll shadows coming closer and closer to the gap in the trees that lead to the building. When they finally became visible, I finally saw the trolls. Creek was one of them!! I didn't recognize the other older troll he was balancing on his shoulder. They stopped for a second and Creek sat the older troll on a log.

"I still don't get how we're going to find Emerald." The older troll said. They were getting closer, so I quickly opened the door and ran in the building. "For the 10th time I told you that all we have to do is follow those other trolls. The dove that one of them can apparently communicate with will show them where to go." Creek explained. "After we find where Emerald is, then we can get her magic!"

Unfortunately, I didn't shut the building door all the way, so it started hitting the building itself. I saw them walking closer to the building, so I ran to the table and hid under it. I sat quietly with my knees pulled to my chest, not daring to make the slightest noise. I heard them walking closer to the building. "What's in this thing?" I heard Creek opening the door slowly. I saw a corner close to the table. Just as Creek set one foot in the building, I quickly crouched into the corner, my knees pressed against my chest. I turned my hair the same light brown as the corner and covered myself with it.

I heard Creek rummaging around the whole building. Finally I heard the door close back up. I got up quietly and tip toed over to the door. I put my hand on the handle and started to turn it. It wouldn't budge. Great! Now I'm locked in here! I bet that Creep knew I was in here, so he locked the door to keep me in and away from messing with his plans. I tugged my hair to make it glow. Now I have nothing left to do, but wait.

*2 Hours Later*

I was about to take a nap when I heard someone. "Esmerald!" It sounded like Ocean. "I'm in here!" I call to him. I heard footsteps approaching the building. "What are you doing in there?"

I rolled my eyes. "Oh you know I thought this thing was a rocket ship and could take me to outer space, so I was dumb enough to get in!" I spoke with sarcasm. "Very funny!" Ocean spoke a little dryly. "Hold up! I think I have a pin or something my hair that can get you out!" I heard him digging through his hair. "Okay stand back!" He told me.

I walked over to the table. I heard Ocean use something to to pick the lock. "Okay try it now!" He told me. I walked over and tried turning the doorknob again. The door still wouldn't open. "Hey Ocean can you stand back?" I heard footsteps moving away from the building. "Okay I'm out of the way."

I stood on the opposite side of the door and back as far away from it as I could. Then I ran at it and kicked it with all my might! That got it to open! I casually walked out and turned to stare at Ocean. He looked terrified of me. "Dude! I had to get out somehow!" He walked over to look at the door. It wasn't off its hinges, but it was close. "Yikes! I wouldn't want to be the Fuzzlings right now!" He said as he stared at the door. "Do you Creep around here?" I asked him. He looked around him. "No, why?"

"He was the one who locked me in here!" I told him. "And that's not all! He knows about Emerald and her magic! He and his father are still on the hunt for her!" I turned to Ocean. He looked at me confused. "How does he expect to find her?"

"He's going to follow us! He was secretly spying on us, so he knows where we're going. He also knows that Iris is helping us! I'm not sure if he knows I have the nature magic, but he knows where we're going! If he finds Emerald that's going to mean real trouble!" I looked at him urgently. "We have to tell the others!"

"Okay I'll go, you stay here in case he comes back!" Ocean told me and ran off. I got the mini walkie talkie out of my hair to radio Sunny. She needs to know this! If Creep stumbles upon the meadow every animal there is in grave danger! "Sunny are you there?" I asked. "No this is her mom. Sunny's playing with friends and siblings. Is something wrong?"

"Yes! There is a possibility that a troll with a mint green hair with green tips could come over there!" I spoke into the walkie talkie. "Okay, I'll warn everybody!" I heard her say. "I'll radio you if he's on his way there or if he's not coming at all!" I told her. I heard her wings flapping on the other end. Guess she flew off immediately. I stayed there at the buildings, in case Creek came back. Ocean eventually came back with everyone else.(Meaning Poppy, Branch, Journey, Adventure, River, Barb, Riff, GD, DJ, and of course Trollex!!) "Okay trolls!! Come on move it!!" Branch ordered and started marching in the wrong direction. " Branch not where we're suppose to go!" I gesture where to go. He marches over that way. "I knew that!"

We all shrugged and started following him. On the way I explained everything just in case Ocean didn't cover it all. This is going to take a while.

*2 Hours Later*

I turned my hair into a wagon with a steering wheel and started riding it, trying not to fall asleep. Ocean turned his hair into a bird bed for Iris to sleep on. He kept walking trying to keep his eyes open, as River walked beside him talking none stop. I turned to look behind me at Journey and Adventure, who turned there hair into a wagon too, and attached it to mine. They were now sleeping soundly as I continued to steer the wagon. Up at the front leading the group, were Branch and Poppy.

Poppy had already fallen asleep and Branch was now caring her bridal style, as he too started struggling to keep his eyes open. We invited Barb and Riff too. I turned to look up ahead and saw Barb playing her guitar with her speakers plugged into it. Except she was so tried that when she strummed her notes it sounded like the guitar was dying in agony. I looked around, but I didn't see Riff. I felt a breeze beside me and turned to look. Riff was there playing his drumsticks really fast. "So dude.... I kinda got ahold of Branch's coffee and it made me really fast.... Or something?"

I know Branch heard him, but he must have been so tired he didn't turn around to confront him. Instead, Branch stood in front of us and told us we could camp out where we were because it was dark. Thump!! I turned over and saw Ocean on the ground just about asleep. I undid my hair and started walking over to Trollex, who was busy cooking something. Obviously we invited him too! He brings the fun!!💖❤💚💛💜💙😁

I honestly didn't know what I could do, so I just got a book out and started to read. "Ugh!! Are you kidding me?!" I look over to see who said that. Iris had crawled out of Ocean's hair and was now dusting herself off. Ocean had gotten up from the ground and he was spitting up dirt and dusting himself off. Now him and Iris were arguing "How was I suppose to not fall?!" He shouted. "After all I was the one holding you up as you slept!"

"Well excuse me for accidently falling asleep! I can't help that! After I'm the one telling all of you where to go!" Iris contradicted. "Yeah?! I don't know how anyone could here your words when your asleep!" Ocean shouted back. I sighed and walked over to them. "Okay that's enough!" I shouted as I came between them. "One things for sure! You both are not going in the same tent!"

I had to figure out a way to separate them, so I sent Iris off to go set up her bed. Ocean agreed to go with me in the woods to get sticks and twigs for the fire.

*In The Woods*

"Okay how many sticks and/or twigs do we need?" Ocean asked as we walked through the woods. "I don't know!" I answered. "To be honest I didn't ask."

"Then what are we doing out here?" He asked. "Had to get you away from Iris somehow." I told him. He shrugged and we continued walking. After a while we stopped and went back to the camp site.

*At The Camp Site*

Once we got to the camp site we all sat on the ground. However some, like me, used our hair to cushion us. While we talked Poppy and Branch passed out the food they made together- hamburgers and french fries! (Classy, but whatever.) The toppings were over at separate tables. I went over there, got some sliced cheese, and went back to sit between Ocean and Journey. We talked for a while as we ate. Then came Trollex's dessert. They were s'mores with a twist. Instead of graham crackers, he used chocolate chip cookies and oreos. For the chocolate he used Twix bars, Kit-Kat, and obviously the classic hersey chocolate. Of course in the middle were toasted marshmallows.

I grabbed one that was made from chocolate chip cookies and kit-kat bars, Ocean grabbed one made with oreos and twix bars, and Journey grabbed one made with oreos and kit-kat bars. We ate and continued talking. After the sun went down and it got dark, all of us went to our tents.

Each one of us shared with one person, except me and Ocean. I shared with Journey and Iris. Ocean shared with River. Poppy and Branch shared. So did Barb and Riff. Since Trollex didn't have anyone to share with, Ocean invited him to share with River and him. Inside our tent, I climbed into my light purple sleeping bag, Journey climbed into her light pink one, and Iris fluttered in her nest. We all said goodnight and Journey and Iris closed their eyes and went to sleep.

I stayed awake and started thinking of all the bad things that could happen to us. What if Creek and his father found Poppy's mother first?! What would happen if they found out that I had the nature magic?! What would they do to me?! I decided I couldn't sleep, so I got out the tent. I turned my hair on and started walking through the camp site. Snap. I looked around startled. Was that Creek? I got into my fighting position and started looking as brave as I could. The bushes near the camp site started rustling. I walked over to them slowly, my heart pounding like crazy. I carefully started pulling the branches and twigs apart, leaves falling as I did. When I pulled them apart enough they revealed.....................
