When they got to the house Poppy followed Branch to his room. They sat on the bed chatting when Poppy notice something.

Poppy: Hey is that a recording studio in your room?!

Branch: Yeah..I don't really use it though...

Poppy: How come?

Branch: Ever since I joined the Danger Squad I just....stop singing...

Poppy: Oh...hey can i try something?

Branch: Sure..

Poppy went over to the recording studio and put on the head phones. Branch  sat in a chair right in front of the studio ready to hear her voice.

Poppy took a deep breath and started to sing.

Poppy: I've been watching you, for some time. Can't stop staring at those oceans eyes. Burning cities and napalm skies. Fifteen flares inside those ocean eyes......Your ocean eyes.

Branch looked up and was speechless. He had never heard such a beautiful voice.

Poppy: No fair, You really know how to make me cry when you gimme those ocean eyes. I'm scared, I've never fallen from quite this high falling into your ocean eyes...those ocean eyes.

Poppy took off the headphones and came out of the recording studio. 

Branch: Woah....that was amazing!

Poppy: Thanks

Branch: What made you choose that song?

Poppy: Well i saw that you had really pretty blue eyes so ....

Branch: *smiles* Thanks... you know you should join the talent show

Poppy: Oh...um i guess i could.....

They stayed silent until Branch's little sister came in

Leaf: Branch! I'm bored.

Branch: I know.... 

Poppy: Hi are you Leaf?

Leaf: *Nods*

Poppy: *smiles*  I heard a lot about you

Leaf smiled a bit cuddling her teddy bear. Poppy smiled but notice that teddy bear had a hole in it.

Poppy: Hey um whats wrong with your teddy bear?

Leaf: Mr. Snuggles got into an accident. I can't fix it though

Poppy: What if I do it?

Leaf: Wait you can?

Branch: Poppy are you sure? You don't have to work that hard.

Poppy: It's okay now I need a needle and thread.

Branch: I'll go find one. *walks out room*

Leaf: I'm kinda sad..

Poppy: Why?

Leaf: Cause your not Branch's girlfriend..

Poppy: *blushes* O-oh u-uh  h-how come?

Leaf: Well....Venus is mean! And you are really nice.

Poppy: Well thank you Leaf.

Branch: Found it! *comes in*

Poppy sat on the bed and sewed up the teddy bear.

Poppy: Here you go!

Leaf: Thank you!!! *Skips out*

Branch: *takes needle and thread and puts it on the table* Thank you...

Poppy: There is no need to thank me...

Branch: *brushes her hair out her face* But i should.

Poppy: Branch...Don't you have a girlfriend...

Branch: Yeah but my grandma, my sister, and my parents before they died....always tell me to break up with her. To be honest they don't even want me in the Danger Squad.

Poppy: Why?

Branch: I have been skipping classes and...

Poppy: And what?

Branch: Venus...convinced to start smoking..

Poppy: WHAT.... Branch please...don't do that 

Branch: I'm trying....

Poppy: I'll help you.

Branch: You will?

Poppy: Of course, smoking is really bad for you... some people died from it...and i don't want you to die...

Branch: *smiles* thanks..

Poppy: Quick question...

Branch: Yeah?

Poppy: Why did you start dating Venus?

Branch: Well we were friends until i started growing feelings for her...then I asked her out. She said yes and we've been dating ever since...

Poppy looked down feeling weird. She really didn't know why.

Branch: Poppy are you okay?

Poppy: Yeah um I should head home....

Branch: I could drop you off if you want...

Poppy: Yeah sure....

The two head down to a huge garage with so much expensive cars. They even saw a mini car just for Leaf encrusted with diamonds.

Poppy: Wow you guys are really rich....

Branch: Yeah I guess....

The two got in the car not saying a word to each other.

Butler: Address please

Poppy: 2134 Trolly Ave. 

Butler: Alright *Starts to drive*

Poppy looked at her phone and was shocked.

Branch: Are you okay?

Poppy: *Breaths really fast* Um sir can you please take me to Cure and Care Hospital! It's an emergency!!!

Butler: Right away ma'am

Branch: What's wrong?

Poppy: My mom is in the hospital! *looks down*

Branch: *puts hand on hers* It's going to be okay.

At the hospital

Peppy: There you are...who's that...?

Poppy: He's a friend of mine from school....

Branch: I'm Branch....

Peppy: Thank you for bring her here Branch...

Polly looked up and see's the doctor coming out of the room.

Polly: How is she?

Dr. Surgen: Well... she is very sick but we are trying really hard.

Peppy: Thank you....

Poppy: *almost starts to cry* Please save her!

Nurse Sunbeem: We'll try. 

Polly: okay...

Poppy got up and ran outside with her back to the hospital wall, trying not to cry. Branch ran after her.

Branch: Poppy...

Poppy: Sorry I'm just...

Branch: *sits next to her* It's okay...I get it 

Poppy began to cry worried for her mom. Branch hugged her and tried to comfort her. But at the same time Satin and Chenille were walking by.

Chenille: Omg Satin!

Satin: What? *turns and gasps*

Chenille: *takes picture* I'm so posting this on Trollstagram. 

Satin: Come on let hurry home. 

Chenille: Got it.

A few days later Poppy was walking down the hallway at school. But for some reason everyone was staring at her.

Poppy: Um hey guys whats going on?

Trollex (btw they met during the week Branch didn't come to school): You didn't see it yet?

Barb: Look *shows picture*

Poppy: Who took that?!

DJ: Satin and Chenille...

Guy Diamond: You're gonna get in trouble you know

Poppy: What do you mean?

Darnell: Uh Branch's girlfriend Venus!

Poppy: Oh shoot...

Suddenly someone taps Poppy's shoulder.

Venus: Poppy right...ha..we need to talk...

Poppy: Uh oh....
