Trixie's POV

I'm at the Salvatore boarding house with Elena, the Salvatores and Elijah. Jenna is upstairs and dad is back at the Gilbert house. I haven't told the others about why Klaus is obsessed with me. I think it's best we focus on protecting Elena. "Tonight is the full moon. We should assume that Klaus is prepared to break the curse" Elijah tells us.

"Elena said that the Sun and the Moon curse is fake? That it's actually just a curse placed on Klaus" Stefan says.

"Klaus is a vampire born of a werewolf bloodline. The curse has kept his werewolf aspect from manifesting. But if he breaks it...He'll be a true hybrid" Elijah explains. Great so a thousand year old hybrid is after me, it was better when he was just a vampire original.

"Then why are we letting him break the curse? We can kill him today. With Bonnie" Damon states.

"No. Bonnie can't use that much power without dying" Elena reminds him.

"I'll write her a great eulogy" he states.

"She says it's not an option Damon, and I agree" I tell him annoyed.

"All right, how do we break this curse?" Stefan asks Elijah.

"Well, the ritual itself is relatively straightforward. The ingredients, so to speak, you already know" Elijah tells us.

"Moon stone" I say as I lean against the wall.

"A witch will channel the power of the full moon to release the spell that's bound within the stone. After that, Klaus, being both werewolf and vampire, will sacrifice one of each" Elijah explains.

"And where do I fit into it?" Elena asks him.

"The final part of the ritual" Elijah tells her as he takes a wooden box off of a shelf. "Klaus must drink the blood of the doppelgänger...to the point of your death" he states. Yeah, I'm still not happy about that. But I trust Elena and she trusts Elijah. He opens the box and takes a jar from it.

"And that's where you come in" Elena says as she holds Stefan's hand.

"This is an elixir that I acquired some 500 years ago for Katerina. It possesses mystical properties of resuscitation" Elijah tells us.

"So she'll be dead" I say.

"And then she won't" Elijah says.

"That's your plan? A magical witch potion with no expiration date?" Damon asks not convinced. "You want to come back to life, what about John's ring?" he asks Elena.

"The ring only works on humans, not supernaturals" I remind him.

"The doppelgänger's a supernatural occurrence. Odds are, the ring won't work" Elijah adds.

"I'll take those odds over your elixir. What if it doesn't work, Elena?" Damon asks her.

"Then I guess I'll just be dead" she states and he storms out of them room.

"You're not dying on m sister, I won't allow it and neither will dad" I tell her.

"If anything happens, please take care of Jeremy and Aunt Jenna" she tells me.

"I promise, but nothing is going to happen. The elixir will work and you will live" I tell her. She gives me a smile and turns to Elijah.

"Do we know if Klaus has everything he needs to do this? Does he have a werewolf?" she asks him.

"Klaus has been waiting to break this curse for over a thousand years. If he doesn't already have a werewolf, my guess is by tonight, he will" he states. Stefan goes to talk to Damon.

"You'd think he'd understand why I'm willing to do this" Elena mutters.

"It's Damon, are you really that surprised?" I ask her.

"Why are you?" Elijah asks her curious.

"I'm the key to breaking the curse. Klaus is here because of me. If I don't stop him, then he's going to hurt people. It's that simple" she states.

"You know, there's a possibility this elixir won't work. I don't want to mislead you" he tells her.

"I know the chance I'm taking" she assures him.

"Get out!" we hear Jenna yell. I growl and race to the front door with them following me. We arrive at the same time as Damon and Stefan. To see Jenna pointing a cross bow at Alaric. "Stay away from me" she tells him.

"What's going on?" Elena and I ask.

"It's me, Elena, I swear, okay? He let me go. Klaus let me go" Alaric states.

"Prove it" Damon tells him.

"Okay, uh, first night you and I spent together, Jeremy walked in right when I was about to..." Alaric starts to say.

"Okay, it's him" Jenna says lowering the bow.

"Why did he let you go?" Stefan asks him.

"He wanted me to deliver a message. The sacrifice happens tonight" Alaric states.

"Great, I'm going to go tell my dad. See you all at the witch house" I tell them.

"Are you sure you should be out there alone?" Elijah asks me.

"I'll be perfectly fine" I tell him and left. I get on my bike and ride back to the Gilbert house. I arrive and go inside. "Where's Jeremy?" I ask my dad.

"With Bonnie, what's happening?" he asks me.

"The sacrifice happens tonight" I tell him. "We'll meet the others at the witch house before sun set" I state.

"I want you to remain here" he tells me.

"I'm not a child, it's my sister we're talking about. I want to be there" I tell him.

"Yeah well, Klaus seems to want you for some reason and I don't want you anywhere near him" he tells me. "I'll protect Elena, make sure she comes back alive. Please stay here" he pleads.

"I can help" I tell him.

"I know, but I don't want to risk losing both my daughters" he tells me.

"You won't lose either of us" I tell him. "But if you really want me to stay here. I'll make you all a feast to celebrate killing Klaus" I state.

"Sounds lovely" he states. We hug each other tightly. "I'll see you later " he tells me before leaving. Once he was gone I go change and go to leave the house. Bu find I can't and curse.

I grab my phone and call Bonnie. "Why am I stuck in my sister's house?" I demand.

"Hi Trixie, sorry it was John's idea. He just wants to protect you" she tells me.

"Undo the spell Bonnie" I tell her annoyed.

"I can't do that Trixie, I promise the spell will be lifted at sunrise" she tells me.

"It's my sister Bonnie, I can't just sit here and do nothing" I tell her.

"I'm sorry Trixie, but Elena sided with John on this one. They both just want to protect you from Klaus. They don't know why he's so interested in you, but they just want you safe" she tells me.

"Fine, but if anything happens to my family Bonnie, you'll pay for keeping me prisoner here" I tell her annoyed. Before hanging up. I go sit on the couch pouting. Suddenly there's a knock at the door and I frown in confusion.

I go to it and open the door to see a guy in his early twenties with dark blue eyes and dirty blonde hair. "Hello love" he says smiling. I notice he has an accent like Elijah.

"Do I know you?" I ask.

"We've meet before, but I wasn't in my right body at the time" he states. "I'm Niklaus" he says.

"Klaus" I say glaring at him.

"No need to be hostile love, I only wanted to introduce myself properly" he tells me. "And please call me Nik" he adds.

"Well you've introduced yourself, leave" I tell him.

"You're just like her" he says with a chuckle. "She to tried to ignore her feelings" he tells me.

"Lets get one thing straight Niklaus, I am not Eris and I will never fall for a guy who wants to kill my sister" I tell him. "If it weren't for the spell on this help keeping me prisoner. I'd be there tonight fighting to protect her" I state.

"I know you would be" he tells me. "Eris would never let anyone hurt her family. When her sister died, se raised her niece as her own" he tells me. "I have somewhere to be, I'll be back for you one day soon" he states before leaving. I shut the door and decide to read. I grab one of the old family journal and lay on the couch reading it. I soon fall asleep on the couch.
