god i love the book of devouring scene it makes me so fucking soft i

and its funny cause like you gotta understand the context. it devours does mention kevin a few times, as it focuses around his religion, but not incredibly frequently. he never actually shows up in person since he's in the desert otherworld, and he only has indirect plot relevance. the scene that reads the book of devouring to is ten paragraphs long, including paragraphs that arent directly related. but im still unbelievably soft over it all the same id fucking die for this one scene
