It had been a few days since Soobin was slain by Beomgyu. His friend. His brother. They would be holding a somewhat preservation of his body. His parents were notified at the penitentiary ,& Soobin' older brothers were to attend. Kai was the most wracked with guilt, so he offered to say a few words. 

Soobin' body was put in a glass case that was magically sealed to never open. He lay still, eyes now closed, & his sword shards rested in his crossed hands. Wand shards scattered on top of the sword shards. Unknown to Jeongsan, a floral version of the Grecian laurel crown adorned Soobin' head somehow. 

Jaesang & Daeshim approached Soobin' body first. Daeshim was for once, completely in tears. His youngest brother looked nothing of how he remembered him. And is now dead. Jaesang couldn't get himself to shed a single tear. It was unfathomable to accept that Soobin was dead. 

Hyun-Shik was next to see his body. He made no reaction & said nothing. Even now, he seemed to want to neglect Soobin even in death. Hwa-Young was absolutely shattered that her youngest son was gone. Jeongsan was first to say a few words.

"저는 수빈이를 오래 알지 못했지만, 그는 좋은 아이였습니다. 슬프게도 유혹이 그를 이겼습니다. 그가 쉬었으면 좋겠어요. 우리는 여기 연구소에서 그를 결코 잊지 않을 것입니다." (I did not know Soobin long, but he was a good kid. Sadly temptation got the better of him. I hope he rests. We shall never forget him here at the institute.) Shortly after Jeongsan, Huening Kai said his piece. 

Huening Kai felt absolutely horrible about had happened to Soobin. "I am horrified that I'll never see Soobin smile again, or hear his laughter... He is now at peace. I never knew I could hurt this much...I will miss him dearly..." Jeongsan made it clear that they shouldn't disclose how exactly Soobin died since it would only spark issues they weren't prepared to deal with. So in short, no one got the answer they wanted.

Soobin however wasn't truly gone. He got to Araz in his fused state. Daemi welcomed him as soon as he crossed the archway. Upon his entry Aria walked with him. An unexpected expression made its way onto Aria' face.

"I wasn't expecting you so soon, Soobin. How are you feeling ?" Soobin let out a deep sigh. He essentially died, but still managed to get himself to Araz... Was this because he was like Aria ? Because he bonded with the Lake Of Mist ? "어떻게 느껴야 할지 모르겠어요. 내 친구들이 날 배신했어요." (I don't know how to feel. My friends betrayed me.)

Aria sighed. He couldn't understand how Soobin felt. He didn't have friends before he basically made Araz. "You are still anchored to the main world, but you can't interact with anything if you visit." Soobin still had no knowledge of what Beomgyu had done. Aria decided to break this news to him.

"Why ? Why won't I be able to interact with the main world ?" Aria knew things were difficult for Soobin to grasp. One second he was facing his friends, & the next he is told he can't interact with anything from the main world. "범규는 숨을 거두었습니다. 하지만, 저는 놀랍지 않습니다."(Beomgyu has taken your last breath. However, I am not surprised.) Aria was about to spill some information not even Beomgyu knew, but he would learn soon enough. Soobin instinctively touched his neck, or at least looked as if he did. His soul was in Araz while his body was basically immobilized. "What do you mean ? Why aren't you surprised ?"

Aria stopped walking and sat with Soobin. "Purebloods have a few distinctions within their blood class...One distinction is the Jade faction of purebloods. I don't know much about them, but Beomgyu probably is unknowingly doing what his ancestors have always done..."

Soobin thought over what Aria had just told him. However, he very much was angry that Beomgyu is what prevented his body from being able to interact with the main world. Now he basically was stuck in Araz. "당신은 그것을 후회한 적이 있습니까? 당신은 메인 세계에 있었던 것을 후회하나요?" (Do you ever regret it ? Do you regret ever being in the main world ?), Soobin asked as he had to now accept how things were currently at the moment. 

"I don't regret anything. My life is better now that I left." Aria started when he rested a comforting hand on Soobin' shoulder, "It is completely up to you. No one here would fault you for loving the place you've called home for so long. Don't let go if you don't want to..."
