~Y/N POV~

As I'm curled against Jungkook's chest I watch the sun start to rise through the trees ahead. It's not much but it's bright enough to tell that the night is over and it's time for the day to start. But Jimin and Taehyung are still not back with us. They could be captured for all I know or worse, dead.

I shiver at that thought and press more into Jungkook. He has kept me warm through out the rest of the night. He's sat to the ground leaning against a tree with his legs stretched around me on either side and his arms around my upper body. Even his cheek was pressed against the top of my head but I don't think he slept either. Even if neither of us spoke, we both couldn't sleep knowing Taehyung and Jimin aren't with us.

I can sense his worry that matches my own. Because every now and then he would bury his nose into my hair as if to calm himself down and assure him that at least I am here with him.

"Jungkook?"

He hummed softly.

"They'll be okay wont they?"

"Yes." Jungkook

His answer came out urgently and almost with a growl along side it.

"They'll be just fine and they will find us. I know they will." Jungkook

I rubbed at his arm around my waist to comfort him. But also to comfort myself too.

"Why would hunter even be after the three of you? Hybrids are free to do what they want if they are registered with a human family. I don't understand Jungkook."

I've been asking myself all night why but I've been too afraid to ask. But now I dared to ask the question so I can at least understand more about this situation.

"There hunters are only from one family that hate ours. Jimin, Tae and I are of rare breeds these days and these hunters just want us gone." Jungkook

"But why are they after you?"

I asked him again, turning in his arms to lock eyes with him.

"They've been after our families for years. They will only be satisfied once Tae, Jimin and I are dead. Even our parents too." Jungkook

"I thought your parents were dead?"

A brow raised above his left eye.

"My biological parents did. But Taehyung's raised me. I don't remember my own so they are my parents in my eyes." Jungkook

I bowed my head and slightly turned away from him.

"I'm sorry. That was insensitive."

But instead he cupped my cheeks and forced my head up to again meet his eyes.

"There's nothing to be sorry about. You're curious so there's no shame." Jungkook

He pressed a light kiss to my lips but then stilled his entire body and then quickly turned his head to face the right side of us. I gasped when he did that so abruptly and he muttered an apology but his eyes were still scanning the area right of us. His ears were twitching on the top of his head as well as his nose.

Something was coming near us and Jungkook didn't seem threatened either. That gave me hope, hope that it could be Taehyung or Jimin or maybe both.

Suddenly Jungkook sprung up from the ground, taking me along with him by grabbing at my hand and pulling me along side him. He moved so fast through the large bushes and stepping over twigs and broken branches that I didn't have the time to process just where he was taking the both of us.

He stopped and let go of my hand.

I blinked and let out a screech when I saw Jimin, staggering towards us with Taehyung but carrying him on his back. Seemingly out of breath with a burst lip and a cut on his left brow. There was even swelling to his right cheek and a nasty bruise to his nose.

Taehyung didn't seem any between on his back but it looked like he was unconscious judging by the way his arms were flopped by Jimin's sides.

Jungkook sprung into action and lifted Taehyung from Jimin's back and carefully placed him to the ground to start patting him down for what I assume to be broken bones. But Taehyung makes no reaction to that. There was a cut to Taehyungs left face on his cheek and a nasty bruise to the right eye. I'm sure that will swell by the end of the day.

Jimin fell to his knees, breathing heavily and I buckled onto my knees beside him, pressing my hand to his back to support him but he just took my hand and placed it over his chest and laid his head to my shoulder.

"Thank....god. You're okay." Jimin

Tears brimmed my eyes when he kissed my knuckles and kept my hand to his chest as if his life depended on it. I blinked them away and pulled Jimin down to the floor with me but positioned myself behind him so his body would lean against mine so he can rest.

I don't know what the hell happened back at the apartment but it doesn't look good.

Jimin's body relaxed into my own but still refused to let go of my hand. I just kept a firm hold of his so he knew I wasn't going to leave him anytime soon.

Looking over to Jungkook he was pressing two fingers to Taehyungs neck just under the jawline to feel his pulse. His ears straightened and his doe eyes looked over to Jimin and I.

"How long has he bee out Hyung?" Jungkook

Jimin weakly lifted his head, glancing over to the bunny.

"I don't know. He was awake when I picked him up. I couldn't run....so....it took longer to....get here." Jimin

His voice becoming scratchy but he pointed to his right foot at one point as he talked. I even looked at it but it didn't look like there was anything wrong by the eye but there could be internal damage to it that you cant see on the outside.

"I have to take Tae away from here. Mom and Dad don't live too far away from here. I can run." Jungkook

His eyes were panicked and that scared me. Jimin lifted his head again, looking around at the trees and then taking a couple sniffs of the air.

"Oh yeah. That's still at least two hours away though." Jimin

Jungkook growled between his teeth then sighed. Sitting up on his knees and pulling at his hair.

"I cant carry you both." Jungkook

"You wont have to. Just take Tae to them." Jimin

"But you need rest and Y/n would be alone with you." Jungkook

Jimin scoffed, rolling his eyes but kept his head to my chest.

"Even if I must rest do you really think I will when I know Y/n would be alone and defenceless in these woods." Jimin

Jungkook's eyes squinted at him for several seconds until he groans but stands and pulls on Taehyung's arms and yanks him up onto his back like a doll. It made me wince to see Taehyung like that. Jungkook looked back at us, a serious expression on his face.

"I wont be long. I'll be fast." Jungkook

Jimin only nods as I do since it's no question that Taehyung needs instant care and quick.

Jungkook takes one last look at us before he runs off and disappears with Taehyung on his back.

Jimin groans in pain but presses himself into my all the more. Taking deep breaths of my scent and curling his fluffy tail around the front of my stomach.

"I was scared they got you and Jungkook." Jimin

He whispered and I brought up my hand to rub through his hair between his pointed ears.

"Well we were safe. Jungkook made sure we got far away in time."

Jimin nods lightly but starts to purr.

After that there was just comfortable silence between us. Jimin pressed into my chest as I sat on the floor and his body turned into me. His purring only got louder and his eyes were closed but I knew he wasn't asleep. Rubbing my fingers through his hair calmed me as much as it did him. I don't even know how long I was doing it for.

But the moment was spoiled between us when Jimin's eyes shot wide open and his pupils turning into slits. I gasped when he sat up quickly and darted his head to face in front of us. When a low threatening growl erupted from him and his tail spiked up, I knew something was wrong.

"Jimin?"

I whispered to him but he didn't look back. Instead he just grabbed my hand again and gave a squeeze.

The bush in front of us rustle and shook. I held my breath for a moment until I woman stepped out from the bush. Tall, long black hair passed her shoulders but wearing boots and green camo gear. At first I thought it was one of those hunters but Jimin stopped growling and let out a laugh.

It confused me but he woman gasped and rushed towards Jimin and fell to her knees and cups his cheeks. My eyes widen and I was about to push her away until Jimin spoke.

"Hello Mom." Jimin
