"Yah! Nari! Clean this up will you!" My manager huffed and carried the bin of dirty plates and tableware to the back. "I'm on it~" I answered formally, walking quickly to the recently dirtied table.
I sighed as I wiped up the mess with a damp rag and carefully put the 2 empty plates into the bin after spooning the leftovers into a bowl for the cat I usually feed out in the back behind the dumpster.
Hiding the bowl from my manager, I quickly set out with the bag of trash. I spotted the black, green-eyed cat and sighed in relief. I set the bowl on the pavement and watched her scarf it down. I made a tsk'ing noise and pouted.
"Ah, you poor little thing. I'm sorry I didn't get to feed you yesterday. Manager eonnie was watching over me like an eagle." I lightly chuckled and as if she could understand me, she gave a small meow before finishing her dinner.
I looked up at the sky, starting to see the clouds go gray and the sky turning dark. Lifting up my wrist, I took a glance at my watch which read 8:34 pm.
"I've got to get home. I hope you enjoyed your dinn-" I gasped as she suddenly rubbed her head, body, and tail against my leg while purring. I immediately smiled, bent down and gave her a gentle pat. "I'll see you tomorrow~"

Walking down the sidewalk, I admired the city lights and the lively people which caused a small, warm smile to form on my lips. I sighed contently before I spotted a small group of people who were beside a building wall.
I squinted my eyes to get a closer look, seeing as they had paint bottles. I could hear their faint laughs and the sound of the bottles shaking and being used.
"H-Hey!" I exclaimed in shock that they were ruining a beautiful building by tagging the walls. This is all over the city, a bunch of teenagers doing graffiti, littering, and simply destroying what was once such a beautiful city.
I knew it wasn't the best idea to shout at a group of suspicious people and I simply could've left them alone which decreases my risk of getting jumped and beaten up.
I don't know what came over me but I did what I had to.
"You can't just do that! Do you know that whatever 'art' you're trying to do on these beautiful buildings are tearing this city apart!" I flailed my arms and gave them the most angriest glare I could muster up. I sure sounded like a crazy lady. That's a fact.
I carried on ranting and shouting at them until I ran out of air. I gave these kids a piece of my damn mind.
They cowered away and started bowing, muttering their apologies. "You kids should get home. It's getting late. I'll let you guys go with a warning, okay?" They quickly nodded, packed up their stuff and trudged home.
"Are you 'city-patrol' or something?" I heard someone mutter behind me, making me whip around. To my surprise, I couldn't see where the voice came from. I squinted my eyes and looked around, still not finding a body in sight.
"Up here. On top of the train." I heard his low, quiet voice again and immediately looked up from the train tracks.
I spotted a figure sitting on the top of the train but it wasn't long before he dangerously hopped down. I held onto the strap of my purse and started taking a few hesitant steps back. It was too dark but It was enough for me to know that it was a male.
I could make out his dark brown eyes that held a small glint shown by the dim moonlight.
"It's too dangerous for a beautiful woman like you to be out here at this time of night."
