3rd person POV:

April and Thunderbolt Zeus prepared to battle in the alleyway near the ice cream shop Yn was at.

Their battlefield wouldn't allow either of them to go all out with their spells without risking another person learning the secret of magic.

Eda was forced to cast a spell to hide the three by Zeus, her superior.

With Con-Rule put into play and the rules being, whoever runs out of mana first or dies, has to get out of the other's way.

Both opponents were confident. Zeus being part of the roundtable was considered to be one of the most skilled magic users.

April was a prodigy and learned under Calia a sorceress of the same or even greater caliber than Zeus.

April: Come on Magi scum, let do this.

Zeus: Hmph... "Li-

April: "Fir-Trol-Go"!

Zeus: -Go".

(Opening theme)

April managed to fire off a spell first, however, Zeus's was faster.

Getting stuck in the shoulder, April felt a heavy shock through her body whilst Zeus dodged her flame bolt.

Now falling back, April made her flames curve around and hit Zeus in the back.

Taking the hit with a grunt of annoyance, Zeus was saved by any burns by his jacket, which was flame retardant thanks to being made to help battle mages.

April flames still stuck somewhat on his jacket, but they didn't bother him.

The blazing sorceress, after getting back up, rushed towards the Thunderbolt.

April: "Fir-Fir-Go".

A barrage of fist-sized fireballs fired out of April's left hand. Zeus lifted up his jacket to defend what the sorceress was hoping for.

With the flames from her previous attack still lingering on his jacket, April pushed Zeus away from herself aided by her barrage attacks.

Eda:(mind) Those flames on Zeus's jacket were cast with "Trol", so as long as the flames burn she can move them.

Eda:(mind) Zeus definitely underestimated her... But I doubt this move of hers was planned.

Zeus staggered, making April want to deliver a decisive blow.

April: "Fir-

Her casting was too slow against Zeus's.

Zeus: "Li-Sel"!

Thunderbolt Zeus's body became electricity for a few seconds. In those few seconds, he flew around April, accidently snapping a nearby gutter drain, before reverting back to his human form behind April.

As the metal shaft, which would drain the gutter of rain, fell, across the allyway, Zeus rapid fired spells at April.

Zeus: "Li-Go"!

His first spell struck April, interrupting any spell she was trying to cast.

Zeus: "Li-und"!

His second spell launched a wave of electricity which paralyzed April's body.

Zeus: "Li-Mo-Go"!

The Thunderbolt's third spell was meant to finish her off, by launching a thunderbolt straight at her back.

Eda:(mind) Zeus is infamous for his skill to cast spells in quick succession. There was no way someone like her could win.

(Crash)

April was saved by the gutter that landed diagonally onto the building across. It acted as a lightning rod and guided Zeus's attack towards it.

Eda:(mind) She got lucky... Without "trol" spells mostly act like their element after being fired.

April:(grunts)...

Zeus: How embarrassing...

Yn: You are absolutely right!

April/Zeus/Eda:!?

The reason for their battle appeared, with three cups of ice cream.

Yn: It took you several more spells than my assistant has cast to defeat her.

Yn: Out of the two of you, which do you think was holding back more?

The magician walked past Zeus towards his assistants.

Zeus: This was nothing but a warm-up for me.

Yn: Yes, yes, you haven't even shown a fraction of your power... I get it.

Passing Eda, Yn gives her one of the cups of ice cream.

Yn: Vanilla, is that good?

Eda: Y-yes...

Walking over to April, Yn touches her with the back of his hand to see if she would electrify him.

Yn: Zoo was it?

Zeus: Zeus.

Yn: Ah, like the rapist. Well, "Zeus" I'm afraid I have to stop this battle.

Yn: Go recover.

Zeus: Excuse me?

Yn: Go recover. I grow tired of battling weak mages. So, recover and we shall battle.

Yn: I'll prepare a stage where we can go all out. We'll meet here tomorrow.

Zeus:(glares)...

Zeus: You're lucky I've been given orders to not face you without full mana.

Zeus: Say your goodbyes, I shall take you away tomorrow.

Yn: I look forward to defeating you.

Zeus walks away, allowing Yn to turn April onto her back.

Yn: I brought you chunky monkey ice cream.

April:... I-I-I... D-d-don't... Care...

With the paralysis still in effect, though weakened, April had difficulty speaking as Yn tried to figure out where to put her ice cream.

Yn:... Ah.

He nudge the ice cream cup between her bosoms, so he could carry her more easily.

Yn: That will make things easier.

April:...

With a cold blank stare, April stared at the mischievously grinning magician.

(Later....)

Upon arriving home, April had recovered enough to move on her own.

Eating her ice cream to recover somewhat quicker, Yn went straight to work.

April: I'm going to get that guy back for humiliating me...

Eda: How, pray tell, will you accomplish that?

April: If I battle seriously, I can burn him to ash. Just need to drag him out of the city.

Yn: I shall battle him in the city and be victorious.

Eda/April:??

Eda: Yn, this man is part of the roundtable. They are the elite of the Magi.

Eda: He's not your average Knight or cultist like we are.

Yn: What makes him so elite?

Eda: They've passed the trials to be considered masters of their school of magic.

Yn: Then perhaps I will need some assistance from my two lovely ladies.

Eda: I can't help you battle him. He's my superior.

April: And it's not like she wants to help... She's on his side after all.

Eda: Unlike you?

April:...

Eda: Getting back on topic, you cannot beat him.

Yn: I've defeated the two of you. And two other mages. So Eda, have some faith.

Yn: Be a little positive.

Entering his little room which the girls have never been in, Yn shuts himself off from the world, until the next day arrives.

April:... Who does he think he is?

Eda: Probably "The Impossible man" as his title says.

April: Hmph... Impossible man... He's more like a child.

Eda: An overly excited one... have you seen the look on his face when he sees magic?

April: Like a kid told they can have whatever toy they want...

Eda:(giggles)... Exactly.

April:... Hey, take out your phone, I want to see what other "impossible" things he's done.

Eda: You have your own phone.

April: The Thunderbolt guy fried it with his spells.

Eda: Alright then...

Taking out her phone, the two began watching the "Phoenix of the sea" trick.

In that trick, Yn, in nothing but his usual suit, dive's into the water and stays there longer than what a normal human could withstand.

(The next day...)

Yn entered his home through the front door, which confused the girls who never saw him leave the small room he entered.

Yn: Get dressed. Magic clothes.

Yn: Magician magic clothes.

The master magician then went to change suits as the girls reluctantly put on their assistant outfits.

Fully dressed, the magical trio went back to the ice cream shop where they found Zeus waiting.

Standing on the road, Yn with his lovely assistants who slightly hid themselves behind the magician as not to be seen, watched Zeus step onto the road as well.

People quickly began to take notice of them.

Gesturing April and Eda to stay, Yn walked up to Zeus.

Yn: Are you ready to battle?

Zeus: I am not battling you here.

Yn: Oh, is it the people? Don't worry, they won't notice the "real" thing.

Zeus: They'll clearly see it, fool.

Fixing up Zeus's jacket like a mother fixing up their child's suit, Yn readied him for the show to come.

Yn: Let me put your worries to ease.

Stepping back and around Zeus, Yn began gathering everyone's attention.

Yn: Ladies and Gentlemen! Boys and Girls! I, Yn Phoenix, The impossible man...!

Yn: Present to you a show in which the likes you have never seen!

Yn: This shall be the very first wizard battle! So watch closely, but stay back!

Yn: Sparks are about to fly!

In a suit, he modified for the occasion, Yn, with a cane in his right hand posed.

(Mr. lightning suit)

Yn: Now have at thee!

Thrusting his cane, Yn fired a bolt of lightning which hit Zeus in the chest.

His muscles tensed up at the attack. But as soon as the shock of both the attack and Yn throwing lightning faded, Zeus readied to battle.

Zeus: Very well... Let's battle...

Eda: Oh no, Yn's trick didn't work...

April: Tch, his luck was bound to run out... I better beat that guy before Yn gets killed.

Zeus: "Li-Go"

April: Damn it!

She was too slow to stop Zeus from attacking. She and her fellow assistant, Eda, watched as a bolt of electricity flew towards Yn.

His hat hid his face, but they assume he had a look of horror.

Yn raised his cane, seemingly to try and defend, in hopes of softening the blow.

But Yn only lifted his cane to hold it in front of him.

Eda/April:?

That's when they saw it. Yn's massive grin.

(Krackakoom)

(Battle theme)

The cane acted as a lightning rod and attracted the attack towards himself.

Zeus's attack got absorbed by the cane. The power it collected got transferred throughout Yn's suit which began glowing via the lights built in it.

Spinning his cane around, Yn slaps the little orb at the end of the wand against his gloved hand. He slowly lifts it to show the electricity crackling between the cane and his fingers.

Yn: I have tamed lightning once before. Today, I shall do it again.

Zeus:...

Zeus: "Li-Go"!

Not yet convinced to raise the level of power he should use, Zeus, fired multiple basic attack spells.

All of them were absorbed by Yn's cane whilst he approached Zeus.

Yn: "Shock Horizon"!

Calling out the name of his cane swing to Zeus's face, people watched with awe at how realistic this fight was.

April: Wait... Are the people buying this?

April:(mind) My god... Is that the type of influence he has?! Simply by announcing this is a show, he can make people unaware of real magic?

April:(mind) I guess it makes sense... No matter how magical his tricks are, the people know that there's some trick behind it...

April:(mind) Because of that, he can show them real magic and get away with it because people will just think it's a trick.

Zeus: "Li-sel"!

Becoming a blinding light of electricity, Zeus attempted to get behind Yn, however, unexpectedly from both parties, Yn's lightning rod-cane practically pulled Zeus back before his spell ended.

Zeus:??

Confused, Zeus simply kicked Yn back.

Recovering with a backward roll and flip, Phoenix fixed his hat whilst Zeus decided to hold back a little less, figuring out the situation like April and Eda.

Attempting to paralyze him, Zeus continued to find that Yn was simply absorbing the attacks with ease.

Zeus:(mind) I've wasted a lot of mana already against this guy... How is he absorbing my attacks with such ease!?

Zeus:(mind) With no idea how gullible these normies are, I can't just go all out.

Striving to cast another spell, Zeus was interrupted by Yn tossing a bunch of small but loud explosives.

(Pop)⁴

Yn: "Jabbing Discharge"!

Thrusting his cane against Zeus's stomach, Yn began shocking the roundtable mage.

Zeus:!?

Yn:(smirks)

Zeus: Heh...

Yn: Hm?

Zeus: This is just normal electricity... You almost fooled me there.

The magician's plan backfired. Instead of harming, Yn was replenishing his power.

Eda: Did he forget what we told him?

Eda: We mages absorb energy and convert it to mana which we shape into our spells.

Eda: Kinetic, heat, and electricity all fall under the categories of which we can absorb...

Eda: Unless it's magic, Yn's only going to fill up his reserves.

Yn: Oh lovely hot-headed assistant!

April: Hm?

Yn: Care to show off for a bit?

With some worry in his voice, he said whilst Zeus prepared to attack.

April: With pleasure!

Switching out with Yn, April went on the attack.

April: "Fir-Trol"!

Her right arm became covered in flames which took a blade-like appearance.

Getting close, she began slashing at Zeus while amazing the audience.

Yn: Put a little more style into it!

He shouted while messing with the mechanics of his belt and suit.

April: Not now!

She retorted whilst Zeus began his counterattack.

Zeus: "Li-Mo-

April/Zeus: " Go"

Adding onto her spell, April was able to fire the flames on her arm simultaneously with Zeus's attack.

They both missed, however with her spell containing "trol" April was able to redirect her attack.

She had her flames spin around her, like a planets rings.

Zeus: Cute light show.

April: I'll give you a light show!

April: "Fir-

Leaping forward, April was interrupted by Yn who caught her, spun her around with himself, until finally ending up with April leaning on him while facing Zeus and Yn having an arm around her.

Yn: Thank you, my lovely assistant, I shall take it from here.

As if they were dancing, Yn spun April towards Eda.

April: What!?

Yn: The outcome of my next move will be shocking to say the least.

Hitting Zeus with his cane again, he once more began shocking him with electricity.

April: What is he doing?!

Zeus: Hmph... You think a higher voltage will-

Zeus: URGH!

The nearby lights began flickering thanks to Yn taking electricity from the local fuse box which he was connected to by a "invansible wire".

Zeus began feeling ill as more power was being put into him.

Eda: He's overloading him.

April:!?

April: A mage can only hold so much... Before...

Zeus: Ugh!

Trying to escape, Yn tripped him and continued.

Zeus:(mind) This is bad! If this keeps up, explode!

Yn: Con-Rule.

Zeus:?

Yn: Cast it. Then immediately give up.

Yn: What I want is simplysimpler try to kill or kidnap me.

Zeus:!?

Zeus:(glares)

Yn: I can turn the voltage even higher.

He could see hisveinss glow with power, Zeus had no choice if he wished to survive.

Zeus: "Con-Rule"!

They both signed the contract.

Zeus: I give up.

And like that, Zeus saved himself at the cost of failing his mission.

Stepping away from Zeus, Yn bowed.

Crowed:(cheering)

Walking up to Eda and April, he made them bow as well.

Yn: Thank you! Thank you!

(Pop)³

The lights on Yn's suit began exploding.

Yn: Uh-oh!

Quickly unhooking the cable connected to his suit, Yn ran off to ditch his quickly going up in smoke, suit, as the overheating batteries inside it began setting the fabric on fire.

With the knowledge of the scroll still in him, April and Eda rushed to help him not go up in flames.

Zeus, defeated and ashamed, returned back to the Roundtable lair to report what occurred as the crowed cheered for Yn.
