(Ring-ring)

Yn: Ugh...

In his small little workshop, the great magician awoke with his face against his table by the ringing of his phone which he currently despised giving it such a ring.

Swinging his hand in search of his phone, Yn upon locating it answers the call and smacks the phone against his ear.

Yn: Hello...?

Groggily he answers.

???:(on phone) Sleepy... No Phoenix enthusiasm or charm to speak of...

???: Firebird, did I wake ya up after you fell asleep working on your next big trick?

The female voice spoke with a sweet like honey, country girl accent.

Yn: Hm? Wait...

Checking the caller ID, Yn learns the identity of the woman.

Yn: Daisy? It's been a while...

Daisy:(on phone) I know firebird... But y'all been nothing but busy for the past... Since we last met.

Daisy:(on phone) But besides, I have my own little mini-me's to raise.

Daisy:(on phone) I just learned you went on vacation for the first time so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to catch up.

Yn:(yawn)... Okay... My ex-assistant, what do y'all want to talk about?

Daisy:(on phone) How's the vacation?

Yn: Got flipped on its head in the best way possible.

Daisy:(on phone) Really now?

Yn: Yep...

Daisy:(on phone) You should still take a vacation. I know for a fact y'all been burning both sides of the candle since you started your magic path.

Yn: I have to burn it at both ends or else it wouldn't be fair for everyone else.

Daisy:(on phone) Is that so? Still, don't work yourself to death. At least take it easy.

Yn: You may be a mom, but please don't mother me.

Daisy:(on phone) Can this mom at least ask a favor from y'all since you insist on doing work?

Yn: Everything and anything for an old assistant.

Daisy:(on phone) My oldest little boy is going to be six soon. Mind putting on a show for him?

Daisy:(on phone) Nothing big, it's just he's a huge fan of yours.

Yn: A fan of mine...? Hehe... You raised your kid to have pretty good taste.

Yn: Still...

Yn: Can I bring my new assistants? They could use some training.

Daisy:(on phone) Of course you can bring your new assistant- wait, did y'all just say assistants? As in multiple?

Yn: Yeah, got two new ones. With some training, they'll help me make the whole world believe in magic.

Daisy:(on phone)... Alright, Firebird... Don't bite off more than you can chew though.

Yn: What is that supposed to mean?

Daisy:(on phone) You know.

Yn:... It's not like that!

(Opening theme)

Inside Yn's magic mobile, Eda, April, and the great magician himself drove across town to a small amusement park at the edge of town.

April: So you do children's parties too?

Yn: I used to, but stop after getting too big for others to afford. This is just a special case, for an old assistant's kid.

Eda:(smiles) That's nice.

April: Why isn't she, your assistant anymore?

Yn: Creative differences in life.

April: What does that mean?

Yn: She wanted to start a family, I wanted to make people think I can fly.

Eda: Do people think you can fly?

Yn:......(smiles)

Yn: Anyway, let's talk about your performance.

Yn: I'll be giving you two the job of warming up the crowd.

Eda: Which will be children.

Yn: Yep.

Eda: Question, should we really be wearing our... "Uniforms" in front of 5-year-olds?

Eda: I feel as if that would be somewhat inappropriate.

Yn: They're kids. They'll have no interest in your sex appeal, only the tricks you do.

Eda: Are you sure?

Yn: Yes. And this will help you get more comfortable in those outfits.

April: Yeah, yeah, you simply enjoy seeing us in these outfits.

Yn: Everyone will enjoy seeing you in those outfits.

Parking his magic mobile, April and Eda see the amusement park where the child's birthday party would take place.

Yn, after taking his equipment from the back of his car, leads the sorceresses to what looked to be an empty amusement park.

April: I've never been to one of these places before, but aren't they supposed to be filled with people?

Yn: Oh, she probably rented the entire place for her kid.

Eda: You can rent an amusement park?

Yn: When your dad's rich, you can do a lot of things.

Daisy: Yoo-hoo! Over here!

A woman with long, fluffy blond hair in a black dress waved at Yn and his magical assistants, becoming them to come over as the children were playing on all the rides.

(Magical mother: Daisy Lindorno)

Daisy:(smiles) Howdy, my name is Daisy, you two must be Mister Impossibles' new assistants.

Eda: Indeed. My name is Eda, and this is April.

April: Hello.

Daisy:(giggles)

The ex-assistant gave a light-hearted giggle at the sight of their outfits.

Daisy: I see you two gave Yn full control over what you were.

April/Eda:?

Daisy:(whispers) If you want to wear something else, just tell him those outfits don't fit the theme...

She whispered to the two sorceresses.

Yn: What secrets are you revealing to them?

Daisy: A magician reveals his secrets only to other magicians. The same is with their assistants.

Yn: Hmmm...

Daisy: Oh, don't ya give me that look. Come here.

She and Yn hug.

Daisy: Oohhhh... It's been too long since we last saw each other in person. Thanks for coming, it means a lot.

Yn: No problem.

They separate.

Yn: So... Where's the husband?

Daisy: Busy, but he'll be in the afterparty at home.

Yn: Good to hear it.

Yn: Anyway, how do you want to do this?

Daisy: I was thinking y'all could perform some tricks after he blows the birthday candles. A show with cake, y'all could say.

Yn: Fine by me, I'll set up. You two can get warmed up. Maybe try planning something new?

The great magician leaves with a case full of supplies. Several children then arrive, catching Eda and April somewhat off guard, as they began performing a few magic "tricks".

Daisy observed the two, finding Eda's little light show and April's little fire play to be quite impressive.

Kid: Can you change the color?

Eda: Oh, Ummm... Y-yes.

Eda:(whispers) "Lig-Trol".

Under her breath, she remade her spell, making it easier for the sorceress to make color and shape-changing lights from the palm of her hand.

The kids flocked to her.

April:(mind) I'm here waving fire, and they go towards her little light shapes? Shadow puppets are more impressive...

April:(mind) Ah whatever like I care...

Eda:(smiles) Heh.

April:...

April:(mind) Oh, it's on now.

Misunderstanding Eda's enjoyment as a letter of challenge, April prepared to outshine her "co-worker".

Of course, she couldn't simply make a large creature of fire and get away with it.

She needed to do something that wouldn't reveal she was using real magic.

Clapping her hands together, she gained the attention of the kids, who she entertained by breathing multi-colored flames by putting her hands near her mouth as if she was going to blow up a balloon, then casting a spell with a whisper.

The kids now flocked to her.

Eda:...

April:(smirks) Heh.

Eda:?

Now with all eyes on April, the sorceress began showing her "tricks".

Kid: Can you make fire come out of your butt?

April:!?!

Eda:(chuckles)

April: Can I make it...come out of my butt...?

Eda: Of course she can. (Mumbles) Simply look at the size of it...

April:(eye twitching in anger)

Of course, with Eda's confirmation, the children with their childish humor wanted to see one thing.
