" get behind me" sebastian said to rachel they all moved into the corner of the room hunter sebastian and santana were in front of the others. santana grabbed thr now empty bottle of wine and snasked it against the tabke and held the now broken bottle infront of her as a weapon.

hunter grabbed a candlestick and handed another to sebastian as they heard footsteps uostairs and they sounded like they were geading for the top of the stairs. then they heard it footsteps on the stairs quinn pulled rachel close and they hugged each other as they all stared at the door way then the police officer appeared in the doorway.

" phew"kurt exclaimed

" sorry if i startled you but as i was looking around i saw a ladder at the back of your house leading to an open upstairs window i hoped to catch whoever it was in person.

" did you see anything upstairs" sebastian asked

" in one of the bedrooms there are several photos of you " the officer said pointing to rachel.

" then someone has beennin the house i cant believe im not staying here" brittany said getting upset.

" what typed of photos " sebastian asked

" they seem to have been taken a while back and i would say given the background of a few of thrm they were taken at school" the officer said

" so its someone from mckinley " blaine said

" i have requested back up to do a bigger search around her its halloween so people sometimes are the victim of pranks but the fact they whoever it is has entered the house leads me to think its more than that" the officer said.

" i need the toilet" quinn said

" i will go with you" hunter said

theyvleft the room to use the downstairs bathroom which was just to the left of the dining room.

sebastian was once more cuddling rachel kurt and blaine were hugging each other and brittany was pouring them all a scotch minus quinn.

then they heard a blood curdling scream then a door been busted open thr officer ran through to the bwthroom where quinn was.

a moment later a very shaken quinn was carried into the room by hunter.

" are you alright what happened " rachel asked

" i saw someone thtough the bathroom window" quinn said

"did you see who it was" sebastian asked

"the blind was down so i only sw the outline but to me it looked like pennywise the clown from the original it film" quinn said

" the officer has gone to look" hunter said.

" here" brittany said handing quinn some water to drink.

" thank you" she said as the officer walked back into the room.

" they have fled up they have left footprints and my colleagues have just arrived so hopefully we can sort this out" thr officer said

the door bell rang rachel ran into sebastian's arms.

" its my colleagues " the officer said and sure enough it was then the house was a hive of activity as the officers searched everywhere inside the property and the surrounding area.

the original officer remained inside the house with them while the searches were going on it felt like a lifetime.

then another officer came into the house looking slightly baffled

" as any trick or treaters been here since we arrived" the female officer asked

" no" the officer said

" why" santana asked

" there is a balloon on the porch it wasnt there when we arrived" the female officer said

" its evidence mrs claringtion here saw someone through a nlind she thought looked like pennywise the clown from the movie it he used to use balloons" the officer said no wanting to be left without a police officer they all walked through to the livingroom while thr officer opened the door to examine the balloon which was tied to a brick which had a note wrapped around it.

" what does it say" sebastian asked

" look out back " the officer said and they all ran to the kitchen to look and as brittany put the outside light on there stood by the fence at the bottom of the garden was a clown holding a huge heart shaped balloon with rachel's photo on it and it was the photo she had used when she ran for senior class president.

" all officers to the rear of the property now " the officer said over his radio before and the female office opened the french door of the kitchen and ran towards the clown who let go of the balloon and started to flee.

" im never watching a horror movie again" quinn said

" me niether" rachel said

they looking out of the window waiting to see if they could see anything but they couldnt.

" hello" a voice said behind then they all jumped but it was anogher officer.

" sorry" he said given their reactions.

" well have you got him" sebastian asked

" not yet" the officer said

" this is ridiculous my wife is been terrified our friend is pregnant why has he not been caught yet" sebastian snapped.

" i understand your frustration sir but we are doing all we can to find him" the officer said. then the original officer came running inside.

" have any of you moved the ladder" he asked

" no we haven't left the room" hunter said

" its now by the side of tbe house outside the bathroom of the master bedroom " the officer said

" ssh " blaine said thdy all listened as faint footsteps could be heard directly above them.
