Ian Fraser "Lemmy" Kilmister. A rock god. An icon. Someone who basically invented a drink named "The Lemmy", Jack Daniels and coke. He was known for his gravelly voice and old Western rocker style. He was also known for singing WWE wrestler Triple H's entrance song, for people into that. 

All I know is that he was a very legendary rocker and there's now a whole in the rock world where he used to be. People, almost immediately, turn to the question: what will become of Motorhead's spot in the Download Festival 2016 lineup? For now, we don't know. But for sure at some point in time there should be a Lemmy stage gracing a rock festival somewhere. 

It's not fair to lose two rock icons so close to one another. To the same cruel mistress, cancer. Too soon. If only cancer hadn't stolen him- I'm sure there would've been life in the old dog yet. 

Goodbye, Lemmy, you will now join the ranks of the great in the greatest rock supergroup in the sky. May you be at peace finally.
