well its time to understand the book. The attribute of the main species here.

THE WEREWOLVES:

They are called different names basically such as; Lycanthropes, Lycans, Children of the Moon, Servants of the moon and so on.As we all know werewolves are shapeshifter. From human to a bark animal beast of some sort.

ORIGINS:

There originated from the moon with the help of the moon goddess. Lupina. As they all call their female mate. Luna. which means moon light. 

MATES:

Both the male and the female wolf have their counterparts. In other words their second ribs,second half. Lupina basically had a wolf for a wolf.

yes wolf are gotten from humans but that doesn't necessarily mean that a wolf can have a human mate. without the gene of wolf in them the can not be their so called mate. Which is why Crosslin never believed Annika was truly Kenzo mate because he felt she was some average human mate, who didn't think she was hanging out with a vampire princess, beta and an alpha wolf.

Some luck wolf family have twins. They are unique in every way necessary to. they not have the same thing. EXCEPT their mate though they are twins they don't have the same mate. i.e they re not sharing a mate. 

MATING/ PROCREATION:

Mating is the intimacy between two wolves. Mating is more like having sex. But between to wolves to procreate so as to produce a pup. 

The wolves have difficulties in producing pups. Most times it ends with four pups. but even getting the four pups you will need help from the sorcerers.

MARKING:

Markings are somewhot tattoos on the body of the wolfs. All wolf have it. It is not a compulsory thing it is just a natural thing. It is so natural that once a male finds their true mate it changes all on its own.

VARIETIES OF MARKING 

There different and various types of marking.

ALPHA MARKINGS: These marking starts from the back up right to the neck. But when the mate is found it extends to the chest of the male.

LUNA MARKINGS: This like the Alpha comes from the back to the shoulders, but the difference is that the female own goes from the back down the arm.

BETA MARKINGS: The Beta marking resides on the his shoulder blade down to is arm.

THE THIRD AND FOURTH IN COMMAND: the both have it on their wrist and chest area.

IT ITS PROHIBITED TO SEE ANOTHER MATE MARKING ESPECIALLY THE FEMALE ONES. The male mate get touchy when the body of their males are exposed.

The alpha and the Beta female marking are animalistic unlike the males that have tribal markings.

CONNECTION AND COMMUNICATION:

The wolves have a special way of communicating with one another. they read only the minds of their mates. EXCEPT the mother, she has a special connection with her pups that the father can never have. making her to read her pups mind

Only the alpha can mind link the park but cant read their minds. and also the family connection they can mind link their family member but also cant read their minds. 

As for the mates they can communicate with each other. This also applies to the curse as far as the curse is not on their mind connection they can still talk to each other. 

FEELINGS:

Every mate can feel their own mate feelings. Just like the way Jaxtyn figured out Annika was hurt in the forest after she broke up with Kenzo. Well you can call it psychic   connection.

They also can feel emotions too. just like what Joyce did to Juniper. Juniper could feel every pain Jaxtyn could feel at that very point. again clarifying that the are mates.

TYPES OF WOLVES:

There are three types of wolves

#The Dominant wolf: They are the ones who are excessively possessive and extremely protective of their loved ones and part i.e the alpha. Luna, beta 

#Submissive wolf: These ones obey the dormant wolfs they are under their care and protection.

#The Recessive wolf: They are in-between they have the dormant gene in them but mostly act on the submissive gene. But only in times of trouble and crises but even in that they still have partial submissive. They are mostly put upfront to protect the submissive while the dormant are out fighting.

THE DARKNESS:

Every wolf have darkness in them that can only be banished by their mates. if not he become a mad feral beast if the alpha cant control them they are always sentenced to death.

That is why when Esme"died" Caius became feral because there was no one to banish the darkness. only the warmth and the touch of their females can bring light to him.

As in return she wants love from her mate and companion and procreation of pups.

THE CURSE:

Though they do not posses powers except their natural attribute which are shapeshifiting, speed,sharp senses, warmth in cold weather, innate predatory instinct, immortality, lie Detection and infectious bite and scratch.

The Curse is the forbidden of touch of a mate to another. this will most likely affect the male because that is basically what they live for.

(so you can see Juniper did a terrible thing)

GIFTS AND BLESSING.

The Lupina promises and blesses her children in different ways, Example she blessed the Massoudieu with a tribrid daughter.

She protects them and cares for them, even though she sends them into tribulation and trials knowing they would over come it.
