The winter is especially harsh this year. Deep snow plagues the tribes and food is starting to become scarce. This is bad not only for the current members if the tribes but anything that disturbs the births in spring could be disastrous.

The mammoth herds and salmon runs are still months away and hardly any edible plants are around. So now hunters are having to give farther and farther, often crossing territories and stoking hostile feelings.

Will a war break out or will they band together to survive?
