My tail twitched back and forth, I was beginning to get EXTREMELY impatient with the alpha.
He kept flirting with other young wolves when he was so old... It was GROSS!
I paced in front of my favorite tree, growling.
"I swear... The only one I can tolerate here is the beta..." I said snorting, the beta was the alpha's first born son, Hollow.
My white pelt twitched as I paced, and my chocolate brown eyes blazed with anger, my dual tails swished back and forth as I paced my ears twitching.
My name is Light, I live in the pack of fog, we're the closest to the mountains.
I remember a few days ago I got to preform my first execution, a young mother wolf by the name of shyria.
She had trying to travel through our territory, but the Alpha wouldn't allow it, so we killed her.
I was the one responsible for taking care of the "dirty work" in the pack, such as executions and other things...
I sighed, "I can't wait till that old geezer finally looses it... That pervert..."
I heard a rustle in the grasses behind me, I whipped around snarling. "WHAT!?"
"Relax It's me," my pelt prickled as I found my self staring at Hollow, the Beta of the pack, my only friend and semi-crush....
Hollow's black and white pelt was lit with shadows. He was considered a "half pure" because of his black and white pelt, and although not many trusted him, he was a good leader, and thankfully not a perv like his father.
Hollow's long white tail fur was rather sharp, and could cut a wolf with a single flick of his tail. His deep dark green eyes stared into my brown ones making me feel suddenly calm at his presence.
Hollow shook of his pelt, "What do you want?" I asked trying to keep a calm and cool cold voice even though I was blushing on the inside.
'Snap out of it Light!' I thought to myself, shaking my head.
Hollow shrugged, "I was coming to say that the Alpha is looking for you." His voice was calm.
I nodded sighing, "fine tell him I'll d there In a minute...." Hollow nodded, he walked past me, I felt just tail brush against my shoulder, despite how deadly the extra long tail could be, the fur was rather soft and warm, I blushed slightly on the inside, his tail wrapped gently around my neck. "Light, tell me the truth, you like me don't you?" He asked, I forced a sigh rolling my eyes, "yes I like you, as a friend like I've said before." I said making every effort not to show any affection in my voice even though I was dying to...
Hollow sighed and his tail moved away from my neck, trailing behind him as he walked away.
'Did I just make a mistake?' I wondered.
My heart was racing, and a felt a blush creeping up on my face, my fur prickled, and I felt slightly disappointed as he walked away.
I shook my head and made my way back to camp walking up into the Alpha's den. He was laying, his orange brown pelt covered in shadows, and his red eyes gleamed.
"State your name and business."
"Light, Hollow said you wanted to see me?" I said calmly, he nodded and flicked his tail, inviting me inside.
"As you know Hollow is becoming of age to overthrow me..." He said his gaze rested on me gently like I was his child or something! I'm news flash my mother was a rouge before she joined this trash!
"And so, I would like to ask a favor of you, well a favor from Hollow..."
My tail twitched back and forth, I nodded.
"Yes what is it?" I said trying to stay unamused and my voice cold.
The Alpha stood up and he stood beside me, facing the opposite direction I was, to the outside of the den.
"I see you have a thing for Hollow... I've been watching you for a while now Light. And I think it's time Hollow got a mate...."
I cut him off, "wait is this coming from Hollow or you?" I said trying to sound uninterested, though my heart was beating as fast as I could run, and I knew what was coming next.
"It's coming from me," a voice said I whipped around to see Hollow standing at the entrance to the den. I froze.
"So Light what do you say...." Hollow asked, Resting his muzzle atop of my head, I felt like my heart was racing out of control and my hear was spinning, my face was blushing.
I pretended to be in interested and took a step back.
Hollow stared at me waiting for an answer. He sat down, his tail reached out to me, laying it on my shoulder. "This is your choice Light..."
I took a deep breath sighing, trying to act all bored and cold like I usually was. "Fine, if that's what you want...."
