"You'd make a fantastic mother Dusk..." Leya breathed.

"It's a good thing your going to be one..."

Dusk's POV~Still in dream~

"Wait what?" I said feeling the dream waver around me, "I'll see you again my old friend..." Leya said gently before the dream faded to black.

"NO WAIT STOP!"

Dusk's POV

I bolted up panting, my limbs quivering . Dawn openness his eyes looking at me he sat up automatically, his gaze worried. "Are you ok?" He asked, I nodded shaking the dream out of my head. "Y-yeah... I'm fine....." I stuttered, forcing the fur on my neck and shoulders to lye flat again.
Dawn rested the tip of his tail on my shoulder.

"Calm down... Your ok." He said, I nodded and sat back down again. My gaze was fixed on my paws as I was trying to gather up all the info I knew from the dream, Dawn sat next to me. His tail on my shoulder for comfort.
"Dusk... Er-is there something your now telling me?" He asked, his gaze slightly awkward.

I continued to stare at my paws.
I shook my head. "I'll tell you later..." My paws felt like cement right now, and all I wanted was to curl back up and go to sleep.
'I still didn't understand what Leya meant...' I laid back down and curled my tail over my nose, Dawn just nodded, giving me a slightly confused and worried glance before curling up and cuddling with me. His tail rapped around me protectively. But I couldn't get to sleep...

"'Am I really going to be a mother?'

I awoke the next morning, the snow fell lightly from outside the cave, I looked over seeing that Dawn was still asleep, careful not to wake him I stood up and walked outside, stretching.
'I need to figure things out...' I thought before trudging out into the snow, I figured that a walk would help me clear my head.... I stared at the valley below from where I stood at a small cliff outside of the cave. I sat down, taking a deep breath, my breath came out frozen like smoke.

I turned my head and pressed my nose into my flank. 'Well nothing I can do about it now....' I thought. Looking back at the Valley again.

My stomach growled, and I decided to go and hunt.

--Le time skip because right now this part of the story leading up to when she tells Dawn is really awkward to write........--

I walked past a cliff leaping down into a small hollow, I looked around, narrowing my eyes against the cold wind, it had really started to pick up now...

I trudged through the snow, snorting as I tried to keep my head surfaced for air.

Reaching a shallower part of the snow I kept it caked to my pelt, allowing it to give me some form of camouflage....
I stared around and sniffed the air, I growled as a familiar, but faint scent reached my nostrils.
'I thought they left!'

I dropped into a crouch, moving up the path silently, following the scent, my gaze flicked up immediately, giving me enough time to dodge as Light leaped at me. "Oh it's you..." She muttered, clearly still pissed at me.

"What are you doing here, I thought you hit the road..." I growled softly.

"We can't, there's too much snow right now, it's impossible to get out of the mountains." She stated, sighing. I scanned her over noticing how weak she was.

Her pelt was ragged and parts of it were torn, allowing blood to trickle out. Her pads were swollen from walking, and part of her ear was torn.

'Im too soft at this point....' I thought sighing. "Come with me... You can stay with us......" I said relaxing. She seemed to take that as an insult.

"We can take care of ourselves thank you..." She spat, her tails twitching.

"It's pretty obvious that you can't take care of yourself." I pointed out, "and besides, you need somewhere to stay until the snow melts."

She narrowed her eyes, obviously considering it, her ears were back. "It's not my decision...." She finally stated.
"Wait here....." She ordered, I sat down wrapping my tail around my paws.

Light soon came back with the black and white wolf from before, Hollow.

"If you want, you can stay with Dawn and I. Buy the looks of it, you haven't had very much experience with the mountains in the past... You need somewhere to stay until Spring arrives..." I offered once again, trying to sound calm and neutral.

Hollow sighed, "alright, we'll take you up on your offer... We don't have much of a choice right now anyway.... We don't plan to stay long however."
I shrugged, "alright. Fine by me."

--time skip brought to you by the fact that I'm so tired right now and I can't seem to get warm under this blanket -_-" --

After a while we arrived at the cave, Dawn must of picked up our scents because he came out of the den, snarling lightly. "Are you alright Dusk I smell-" He stopped and growled when he said Light and Hollow.

"It's fine." I said, calming him down. "I found them wandering in the mountains, they can't leave thanks to the snow and look like they haven't eaten in a while... I told them they could stay until spring." I informed him, he narrowed his eyes at them for a moment. I whispered in his ear low enough for Light and Hollow not to hear, "they aren't likely to put up a fight right now.... I want to help them..."

Dawn took a deep breath. "Fine you guys can stay... Come with me, I'll show you where you can sleep, Dusk can you go to the store and get them something to eat?" I nodded.
Padding off, and sliding in through an entrance to the store room. I looked around, grabbing an Alpaca and hauling it out of the store I dragged the dead animal over to where Light, Hollow, and Dawn were standing. I dropped it in front of them.

"Here. Eat, you'll need your strength..." I said using a paw to push the animal towards them.

((I actually almost put Anime instead of Animal XD dem Otaku wolves lol))

"We can catch our own..." Light growled, "sure, and snow grows on trees." I retorted. Dawn gave me a soft glare but said nothing. I shrugged.
Light just snorted and began eating.

Dawn prodded me in the shoulder lightly whispering quiet enough for the Light and Hollow not to hear, "I need to talk to you... Let's go outside ok?..."
