I stopped staring around. Next thing I knew a wash of scent came over me, a large howl signaled another wolf and a white flash stormed down onto Dusk, she let out a shriek of surprise.

"DUSK!" I cried about to go help her, she and the white wolf had tumbled down into the gorge, luckily it was the lower side...

I heard a challenging roar of a howl coming from above. I snarled whipping around and glaring at the intruder. It was a black male with white patches. He had an incredibly long tail, signaling that he was most likely an Alpha.
But no... I've never seen him in the mountains before... Why is he so familiar!!

I snarled crouching down, my tail lashing.

The other wolf glared down at me with a challange, we were about the same size roughly, but his ally who had attacked Dusk wasn't.

'If that wolf touches her....' I snarled at the thought giving me strength.
Now was not the time for reason.

I howled leaping up and tackling the wolf, sinking my teeth into his shoulder, he snarled retaliating by lashing his tail out of me, I growled from the pain as the sharp needle like hairs Struck my shoulder, I leaped back.

The wolf had a calm expression, but in his eyes there was curiosity and a dark aura that was almost more playful then petrifying.
'I recognize that glare....' I narrowed my eyes.

"Who are you?!" I asked forcing my fur to lye flat. "My name is-"
