I shook my head walking through the cave, this was the same cave that I had lived in before.... With Mama.
I had dragged the black wolf over into what had been One of the spare dens...
I took a deep breath walking outside.
'Mama... What do I do now.... There's a new wolf here, I thought I had been all alone... She looks a lot like Rain. But like you said to me, she is my family I will treat her as such...'
I let out a heavy sigh, looking around, I stared down at the valley below. I howled into the sky, making it so everyone in the mountain could hear. I howled for Mama, for Rain and for Sand.... I missed them a lot, but I've moved on, taken the memories and the lessons and left behind the love I felt for them.
I had left behind all of the balled up confusion, and rage. All that was left was regret.
Regret....
The one thing that I couldn't get rid of... But I wish I could........
