"Be mine Lauren."

I pulled out of the kiss with wide eyes. I couldn't believe what I've just heard, Luke bit his lower lip looking at me with a questioning look. I sat back straddling his waist and his hands found mine immediately, the warmth relaxed me and my heart was beating so loud, I knew that my decision is very clear. 

"I'm already yours Luke." I said with a smile, he sat up gluing his chest to mine for a kiss. I smiled against his lips, my fingers brushing against his scruffy jaw. After few kisses, we lied on my bed again under my warm duvet, to finally go to sleep with a wide grin on both of our faces.

"I'm so happy to be with you Lauren." He whispered planting a kiss on my cheek, I brought his hand and kissed the back of it. "Me too Luke, me too."

"Lauren? Are you awake?" 

Couple knocks echoed in the room and I groaned pulling the duvet over my head. I felt an arm around my waist and I recognized Luke's smell immediately. I relaxed under his touch. 

"Lauren? Honey, are you okay?" My eyes shot open quickly and I jumped from the bed running to the door earning a quiet groan from Luke, I didn't care. Mum will kill me if she finds him here.

"Morning mum, I'm okay." I said behind the door, I could see Luke moving around and I slapped my forehead, I hope he won't make any noise. "Can you open the door?" 

"No no, I'm about to take a shower." 

"Okay, I'm going to the grocery store, wake your sister up and shower her." I rolled my eyes, but let out a sigh of relief anyways. "Yeah don't worry. Bye." 

I got back to bed and shook his shoulder to wake him up. I have a light headache from yesterday's drinking and today I need to help mum with the dinner. This day is eventful too, I hope everything's going to be okay.

"Luke, wake up please." I said while opening the curtains to check if my mum actually left the house (she did), so he can leave normally before I wake my sister up. She can't see him here because she'll tell mum immediately even if I give her two thousands pounds of candy.

"Why do I have to wake up?" He muttered under the pillow, "And the lights are so bright, Jesus." I chuckled and sat on the edge of my bed. I pulled off the pillow from his face, he looked at me barely opening his eyes. 

"Morning babe." 

"Good morning Lulu, you need to leave." I said but got a glare from him, because of the nickname. "Lulu?" 

"Yeah, it's cute." He sat up rubbing the sleep off his eyes, I admit I still want to sleep too. "Get dressed and leave, I need to wake up and shower Ellie before mum gets back from the groceries." He groaned standing up from the bed. He got dressed and I walked him to the door downstairs. 

"See ya tonight Lulu." I put my arms on his shoulders locking my eyes with hims, he rolled his eyes but kissed my lips anyways. I can't believe, I'm dating this guy already. After all what happened since the day we met, I've never thought we could be together. 

"I'm not excited for my bro's wedding as much as I'm excited to be with you." I smiled and hugged him. His warm arms engulfed me in a very tight embrace, letting me feel secure and safe. Butterflies -no fucking dinosaurs, attacked my stomach and I wanted to stay here forever. 

 "Text me, okay, bye bye." I kissed his cheek and he left. I sighed and went back upstairs to wake my sister up. I'm thankful, she's not a pain in the ass, she does everything I tell her to, without complaining. I'm so blessed to have her in my life seriously. I often hear people complaining about their siblings, but mine is seriously an angel on earth.

I made her wear black skinny jeans and a random red sweater and I let her play in my room while I take my shower. I washed my hair letting the warm water and shampoo relax me. After my peaceful moment in my bathroom came to an end, I slipped in fresh clean pair of underwear and I brushed through my wet hair and applied some lotion. After going through my skin care routine (blame my acne), I wore dark grey sweatpants and my favorite Arctic Monkeys shirt. Simple outfit to chill in it at home. 

"I w-really like Lukey, he is a cutie-pututie." I giggled when I heard her weird nickname for cute people. "Ellie, c'mon, everyone for you is a cutie-pututie." 

"No, Lukey is more cutie-pututie."

"Whatever you say El," I said signaling her to go downstairs. My sister has the weirdest things to say and apparently she really likes Luke. 

I spent the whole afternoon laying on the couch eating popcorn and scrolling through my social medias feeds. Mum was cooking, I helped her with the salad and Tiramisu. But, she kicked me out because apparently I'm shit at cooking. That didn't offend me though because I know that the only thing I'm good at is drumming. While I was close to finishing another YouTube video, Kenzie's name flashed on the screen. 

"Hello." I said bringing the phone to my ear, a smile on my face. I'm happy to talk to my best friend. "Hey, where are you?" I sat up quickly when I heard her voice. She was crying. 

"At home, why? Are you okay?" 

"Can I come over? I know you're having dinner with Luke but can I crash in your house for few days?" I pressed my lips together and thought for few seconds. Mum should be okay, she loves Kenzie, but I need to ask her anyway. 

"What happened?"

"I got in a huge fight with my family and I need to stay away of them for few nights, please. I need your help." Her sobs made my heart crack. I know how much her parents are strict and if she really is leaving the house, that means it's a huge ass fight.

"Okay, hold on, lemme ask mum." I said putting my phone on the table running to the kitchen. Mum was occupied with the steaks. I patted her shoulder and she turned around with a smile on her face. 

"Mum, can Kenzie crash here for few days? She has a little problem." I asked, my eyes full of hope. 

"Yeah, she's always welcome here. It's okay." I hugged mum quickly and ran back to the living room where my phone is. I picked it up again with a huge smile, I'm really happy because she'll keep me company. 

"Pack your shit and come over, I'm waiting."

At around six, Kenzie and I were sitting on the floor with different makeup products, getting ready for the dinner that's going to clarify how my spring break is going to be. Kenzie stopped crying but she didn't tell about what happened. 

"What happened Kenz?" 

"Mum found condoms in my drawers and she told my father. Plus, my brother told them that I'm seeing Michael. You know how strict they are about boys and stuff, so, they kept yelling and threatening. I packed my shit and left." 

"Cameron is really an asshole." I said meaning it. Her brother is such a pain in the ass, and even though he is seventeen, he is really immature and adore teasing his sister.

"Why you didn't go to Michael's?" I added while blending the brown shadow into my crease, she sighed and leaned against the bed. "I didn't tell you but we're over." My eyes widened and I stopped working on my eye shadow bringing my whole attention on my best friend. 

"What? When?"

"Yesterday. I kinda wanted to know if he has feelings for me, so, I was like 'I'm tired of this whole thing' like I told you the other day. So, he was like 'you wanna stop? whatever, I don't care'. This sentence just fucked me up. You have no idea how much he made me feel like a fucking object. Even though we agreed on no feelings involved, but there was something between us. That's what made me fall in love."

"Bitch what?" I interrupted her dropping the products in my hands on the floor. She can't be serious. Kenzie is in love? With who? Fucking Michael Clifford? One of the biggest assholes of our school. "You love him? Dude, you know that these fuckers don't do love shit." 

"Ashton loves you." She commented.

"It's not even true. Ashton is hypocrite too and I'm sure he's lying." She sighed and brought her knees to her chest. I've never seen Kenzie like this in a long time since Calum. When she told me that she liked Michael the other night, I thought that it's just a simple crush. Because, come on, they're super close, sure thing, she'll develop some kind of a crush. But, not fucking fall in love. She's crazy.

"I miss him so much." I put my arm around her shoulder rubbing her skin to comfort her. "Fuck him Kenz, we all know he's an asshole." 

"I know dammit, but I love him." She put her head on my shoulder and she was trying so hard to prevent herself from crying. The dinner is pretty soon and she doesn't want to look like a complete potato. I gave her a one side hug planting a kiss on her forehead to comfort her, she's practically my sister and it kills me to see her like this. 

"It's okay buddy, he'll realize how amazing and important you are and when he would, you'll already be over him. Just like Ashton with me." She sniffed nodding. I handed her a makeup wipe and she fixed the running makeup under her eyes. We continued getting ready, I let my hair naturally waved and put on black high-waisted skinnies with my cropped tank top. 

"Lauren! Kenzie!" Mum called and I gave Kenzie a pat on the shoulder before going downstairs. A delicious scent filled my nostrils making my mouth water and I was extremely hungry. My eyes searched for our guests tonight and when I met Luke's radiant blue eyes, a warm feeling hugged my heart and my lips curled into a wide smile, he shot me back a smile and then, I met his mum's eyes. Liz. We've already met so many times and she's unbelievably sweet just like her son. 

"Good evening." I said giving her a hug, she patted my back giving me a very warm smile, "Good evening, honey." I looked over at Luke and gave him a hug too meanwhile Kenzie hugs Liz. Instead of hugging Luke, he cupped my cheeks giving me a peck on the lips leaving me with flushed cheeks. I looked over at my mother and Liz whom were shitting themselves with excitement. 

"Alright, so, let's eat, shall we?" Mum said cutting the awkward vibe, when they started heading over to the dining table, I took the opportunity to smack Luke on the shoulder. "What was that jackass?" 

"What? Mum knows that we're dating." He shrugged with a teasing look clear in his eyes, I rolled my eyes but took my hand in his anyways joining the others. I took a seat between Kenzie and Luke, my little sister next to Luke and across, mum and Liz. My father went on yet another trip, to be honest, I don't know what's going on with my mother, because they aren't speaking at all. 

"Make yourselves at home, have a good meal." Mum said and Kenzie started putting some salad and a piece grilled steak in her plate, she's so used to dinner with my family. Mum served Ellie and Liz while Luke and I served ourselves just like Kenzie. 

I started eating the delicious side pasta while mum and Liz started talking like they've know each other since ages. It's a thing with the adults, they have so many common interests. Kenzie was silent eating her salad drown in her own thoughts while Luke and Ellie were already discussing some things silently. These two are so close and I don't even know how.

"Yay, you're the best Lukey!" My sister cheered kinda loudly than expected causing my mum to shot her a glare. "Ellie! What was that?" My sister pouted and looked at her lap guilt taking over her features. I smiled when I saw Luke pinching her cheek to make her smile. He is definitely a cutie-pututie like Ellie said earlier, laughing my ass off.

"Sorry, so, what were you telling me? Your other son is getting married, woah!" I jumped slightly in my seat and looked over at Luke and Kenzie. They knew that this whole get together thing is only for my spring break plans. 

"Yeah, his fiancé is very sweet, she's like my own daughter, actually we have to go back to Sydney to attend the wedding." Mum took a sip from her wine (that we don't have the right to drink some) and decided to reply. "Oh, congratulations then. Looks like Lauren is going to stay alone since Kenzie is going to Canada." Yeah, I haven't mentioned that Kenzie needs to go to Canada because her grandmother is sick. I know even though she's not on good terms with her family, she's going to go anyways. She loves her grandmother so much. 

"Lauren, do you want to go with us? You'll have fun, you have Luke and his cousins, also, Australia is so pretty during this time of the year." I played along and make up a surprised face while I looked over at my mother. "I don't know Liz, I'd love to but I have to ask mum." 

"Kimberly, let her go with us. It's a change and I'll be with them, the whole time, don't you worry." I crossed my fingers under the table feeling Luke's hand on my thigh. Kenzie was eating her food not really giving two shits about this whole thing, when mum was in deep thoughts until she finally spoke. She was silent for three seconds but it felt like three fucking hours. 

"Okay, I have to be in San Francisco for a salon so, it's better than letting her here alone." I set my fork rather loudly on my plate and a huge smile was plastered on my face. "Mum! You're not kidding right?" I glanced at Luke who was as excited as I am, then, again at my mother. 

"No, sweetie. I'm sure you'll have fun. I trust Luke and Liz also, so, you'll be okay." 

"Wow Kimberly, that means you don't trust me." Kenzie commented raising an eyebrow keeping a playful look on her face. Mum laughed shaking her head, "No bud, I trust you too but I needed her to watch Ellie this summer. I'm sorry." 

"Thank you Mrs Keller, you made me the happiest person alive right now." Luke spoke finally planting a kiss on my cheek. "Ew Luke, your lips have sauce on 'em." I shoved him lightly cleaning off my cheek, while everyone burst into laughter. 

"But you're welcome kiddo. When is your flight Liz?" 

"Next Sunday."

"Oh it's pretty soon, okay, so, I'll book her a ticket." I stood up and literally jumped on my mum hugging her tightly planting a kiss on her cheek. I can't believe that I'm going to fucking Australia with my boyfriend. These things I only hear people talk about it and imagine them before I fall asleep at night. I've never thought that my mother will let me travel alone to another continent as far as Australia. God, I must be dreaming. This is so crazy. I can't wait to leave seriously. 

"Dude, you're going to the coolest place on earth." Kenzie gushed nudging my side with her shoulder, I nodded, a smile couldn't leave my face. "Thank you Liz, really."

After we finished the dinner, Luke and I took the dishes to the kitchen to put them in the washer. While Kenzie played with my sister (she's using it as an excuse to do not help), mum and Liz sat in our backyard talking about God knows what. 

"I seriously wanna go right now." Luke said putting three porcelain plates in the machine. I let out a happy sigh setting the glass on the counter wrapping my arms on his shoulders locking my eyes with hims. 

"You're my favorite person on earth Luke." 

"You're my favorite person on earth, Lauren, too."
